Seaside: hotel a 2 stelle

This hotel is located in Seaside city. It's around 5 km from Monterey city center. There is a lot of restaurant and supermarket nearby hotel area. Beach is near the hotel in 10 minutes walk. Parking space is sufficient for number of guest room. Room is large, clean and comfortable. There are microwave, TV, fridge and coffee maker in the room. Toilet is equipped with bathtub and shower. It's noisy in ground floor room because of the upper room walking or doing something in their room. Air condition is heating only. Wifi is quite reliable. Breakfast is served in lobby area. Due to Covid Pandemic, guests have to bring food in the room. Number of choices are acceptable. Recommend this hotel for all type of customer.

Ci sono diverse recensioni sul sito che lamentano che le porte di ingresso per questo hotel sono porte esterne. Questo è vero. Ma è anche vero che si dovrebbe fare la ricerca prima di prenotare. Questo hotel non cerca di nascondere il fatto che le strade della stanza sono esterne. Se questo è un'operazione di rottura per voi, non prenotate questo hotel, ma è sleale prenotarlo e poi lamentarvi di una caratteristica dell'hotel che avreste già dovuto conoscere prima di me. Ho avuto una conferenza di lavoro vicino alle suite dell'ambasciata. Questo hotel funziona bene se hai una conferenza vicino alla porta ma sono su un bilancio più stretto di quello delle Suite dell'ambasciata. La nostra camera era pulita e confortevole. My girlfriend and I was on vacation in California, and chose to stay overnight at the Sand Dollar Inn in Monterey on the road between San Francisco and Los Angeles. They advertise non-smoking rooms and the pictures apparently looked good. We were therefore very surprised when we got into the room and it really smelled of smoke in the room. My suspicion is that the smell of smoke remains in the carpeted floor from earlier. We were only going to stay there for one night, so we chose to see it through. About. at 10 p.m., a group of boys checked into the neighboring room, and they immediately started partying. It involved loud talking/yelling, slamming doors (there were several of the gang who had other rooms in the hotel) and brutal bass that shook the walls. We imagined that these had plans to go to a night club, so we tried to ignore it as best as possible. A couple of hours went by without the party calming down, so we tried to knock on the door to get them to calm down. It helped for a few minutes before the party started again. About 01:00 AM I chose to go to the reception to get help. There I met a person who promised to take care of the party. It was quiet for approx. 10-15 minutes before the party started again. Around 2:00 a.m. my patience was wearing thin and I knocked on their door again. It was then quiet for another 10-15 minutes before they turned up the music again. About. at 03:00 I was down at the reception again, but there was no one there. I called repeatedly but no one came. I waited for approx. 10 minutes without getting help. About. at 4:00 am I knocked on their door again to no avail. The party continued and we stayed up the rest of the night. After a more or less sleepless night, we chose to leave the motel early in the morning. This was a very boring experience and the disappointment of the motel and their staff who did not follow up on the complaint and accepted that there was a party going on all night is beyond me. It was not pleasant for those who wanted to use the hotel's pool the following day either, as the balcony of the party was just above the pool where several people took the opportunity to vomit. Do not stay at this motel!
