Very good breakfast. Intimite. Clean property. Good beds. Quiet location. Good restaurants nearby.
Con: small shower cabin. Staff only in the hotel for a limited time.

Villa Benz is a well-kept small hotel that's conveniently located in Schwetzingen. It's directly across the street from the Schwetzingen Palace, which is a must-see when visiting the town. I was there for a summer concert at the Palace, and the Villa Benz worked out very well. The rooms are clean and comfortable, and the innkeeper does a nice job of keeping the property in great shape. The morning breakfast spread was above and beyond what we imagined. Schwetzingen is about a 20-minute drive to Heidelberg. It was tricky getting a taxi on a Sunday, and Uber service isn't available in town. There is train service about a half mile from the hotel, which is how we arrived for the concert. If I find myself back in Schwetzingen I won't hesitate to book a room at Villa Benz!

Schönes Stadthotel direkt am Schloss von Schwetzingen. Der Empfang war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Man fühlt sich direkt wohl. Parkplätze stehen im Hof zur Verfügung. Das Zimmer war zur Straße. Vom Verkehr habe ich kaum etwas mitbekommen. Das Zimmer war modern eingerichtet und verfügt über eine Klimaanlage. Das ist für mich eins der Kriterien schlecht hin. Denn ohne Klima im Sommer kann die Nacht sehr unruhig werden. Hatte über HRS gebucht. Erste Füllung der Minibar sei kostenfrei! Leider war diese leer. Daher einen Punkt abzug. Das Frühstück war gut. Für jeden etwas dabei. Gern komme ich wieder.

Vielen Dank für die komfortable Unterkunft direkt am Seiteneingang des Schlosses! Einfach zu finden, freundliches Personal, lecker Frühstück auf der Terrasse und bequeme Betten - was will man mehr? Falls wir noch einmal in der Nähe sein werden, buchen wir sicher wieder hier!

Wer in Schwetzingen den Schlosspark erkunden will, hat mit dieser Villa die perfekte Unterkunft. Denn sie liegt genau gegenüber. Dazwischen ist nur eine große Straße. Daher empfiehlt sich für Menschen, die gerne bei offenem Fenster schlafen, ein Zimmer nach hinten raus. Die Zimmer sind zwar klein, aber geschmackvoll modern eingerichtet. Man fühlt sich wohl. Gutes Farbkonzept und schöne Mischung aus alten und neuen Elementen. Das Frühstück ist gut. Der Service und der Empfang super nett und herzlich!! Für den Sommer gibt es eine kleine Terrasse und Sitzgelegenheiten im Garten. Einige Parkplätze sind ebenfalls vorhanden.

Nous avons passé 4 nuits dans ce charmant hôtel à deux pas du château de Schwetzingen et de son magnifique parc. L'accueil a été extrêmement chaleureux et souriant, en français aussi si vous le demandez (l'une de nos hôtes a son père et un grand père français). Très au calme malgré la proximité de la route, ce petit hôtel meublé dévoile tout son charme par une décoration soignée et cosy. Les chambres sont grandes, hautes de plafond et mettent à la disposition des visiteurs un ensemble de services en accord avec la traditionnelle qualité d'accueil de nos voisins allemands. Un parking privé est aussi proposé. Les petits déjeuners sont complets, avec des produits frais et à volonté. La chambre est à moins de 100 euros et il n'y a aucun doute à ce que nous retournions à Villa Benz lors de notre prochain passage.
