We stayed just two nights at this wonderful hotel, and didn’t want to leave! Lapazul is a little slice of heaven on earth. When we arrived, following a warm welcome from Monica, as the only guests, we had the place to ourselves and were given the best room, with an outstanding view of the surrounding forest down to the coastline. We spied toucans, butterflies and parrots, which made our mornings. The rooms (and the entire hotel) is spotlessly clean and the much-needed AC works well. Breakfast and dinner were delicious and we were well looked after by George, who went above and beyond the call of duty, to help us. Definitely get a 4x4 to negotiate the short but steep road up to the hotel. We loved every second of our stay at Lapazul!

This small boutique hotel is fantastic! Rooms and property were clean and well-maintained. Service from the Lapazul team was impeccable. We ate dinner at the restaurant twice and also had breakfast daily. All of the food was great! We enjoyed watching the toucans in the trees every morning. Suggestion - a 4-wheel drive vehicle will make the drive easier.

This property is one of the BEST travel experiences in the world. The delicious on-site restaurant, attentive and friendly staff, utopian view overlooking the lush landscape and ocean, and comfortable bedroom suite all spoiled us. We enjoyed 8-nights here during the Envision Festival and quickly Lapazul became the highlight of our week. We were welcomed by Monica on Sunday and cared for by Giovanni and Jorge throughout the week. Upon departure, we hugged and said good-bye to now friends. I would highly recommend this property to friends and family and hope to return again annually.

Lapazul is truly a special place. You are hugged by lush surroundings, tranquil nature-sounds, and the skyline ocean view - which makes for spectacular sunsets. It is a close drive to beautiful beaches, trails, waterfalls, and the towns of Dominical & Quepos. The accommodations and property itself was pristine. You can tell that the owners & staff put a lot of care and thoughtfulness into every aspect of their guests’ experience. Everyone we encountered was sweet, approachable, and helpful when we had requests. Lapazul is not just a place to stay - it is a unique and irreplaceable experience.

Beautiful place and amazing views. Very comfortable rooms, great food and great service. Definitely coming back. You will love it here. The location is great since there are many beaches and restaurants close by.

Staying at Lapazul is the best gift you could give yourself if you need to charge your battery again. Up in the jungly hills of Dominical, this place is so tranquil and beautiful, we couldn't recommend it enough. The rooms are big and comfy, the food is absolutely amazing, and the views are one of a kind. You're surrounded by nature and we saw many birds, butterflies, sloths, and frogs. Definitely have to mention the incredibly kind and welcoming staff of Lapazul as well; what a great team! Thank you for such a wonderful stay, we can't wait to return!

Ein perfekter Ort um sich zu entspannen! Wir haben die letzten 2 Tage vor unserer Arbeit dort genossen. George der Kellner ist die gute Seele dieses Ortes, die Sauberkeit ist gut, der Infinity-Pool hervorragend und die kleine Hundedame super süss

Ein kleines Paradies! Sehr empfehlenswert, in jeder Hinsicht! Unsere schönste Unterkunft in Costa Rica! Nach einer spannenden Anfahrt, waren wir sofort verzaubert, von diesem herrlichen Ort. Die uns empfohlenen Ausflüge an die nahegelegenen, endlos langen Strände, haben sich gelohnt.
