Siamo un gruppo di 8 persone, abbiamo passato due notti in questo hotel durante il nostro giro nei castelli della Loira. Posizione splendida su un'isola al centro del fiume con meravigliosa vista su Saumur e il suo castello. L'hotel è molto bello, moderno e ben tenuto, le camere sono di dimensione corretta e sono dotate di un bagno adeguato (peccato senza finestra). Il soggiorno è elegante e ben arredato, dotato di bar e con ampia sala per la colazione. Lungo il soggiorno corre un'ampia terrazza sul fiume (per fortuna senza zanzare) con vista panoramica dove si può fare un aperitivo. Personale cortese. Colazione buona. Peccato che l'hotel non abbia un ristorante, vista la posizione sarebbe stato molto bello cenare lì invece di cercare un ristorante nell'affollatissimo centro storico all'ora di cena! E' comunque possibile chiedere dei piatti da consumare in camera, ma francamente non è una alternativa accettabile, considerando la splendida location! Consiglio l'hotel in particolare le camere vista Loira anche se costano un po' di più. E' in una zona silenziosa ed è dotato di parcheggio. Una vera scoperta molto al di sopra del livello medio di un hotel turistico e vicinissimo alle principali vie di accesso. Saumur è una piccola cittadina molto bella, nelle vicinanze consiglio di visitare l'Abbazia di Fontevraud e la città di Angers (stupendi gli arazzi dell'Apocalisse nel castello).

Un posto davvero bello, la terrazza sulla Loira vale il prezzo del biglietto... Molto vicino anche a centro storico, bar, ristoranti e alla stazione del treno. Parcheggio gratuito e capiente, personale molto gentile, stanze moderne ed essenziali. Ottima la colazione e il servizio wi-fi gratuito

We stayed 2 nights and given it’s good location to old town it was less than we expected in the hotel. Being Platinum member we expected an upgrade as the hotel was not full, one welcome drink and no upgrade we did not use any of the hotel services so we cannot comment , The room was adequate, coffee and tea of unknown labels we untouched. Short walk to reasonably priced restaurants.

AIR CONDITIONNING SET TO 24DegC. Too hot!
Because of flying bugs, we couldnt open the window, so we had to sweat.
At night, the walk from the car park to the hotel is in the total obscurity. No solar powered light installed for the guest's security.
These 2 issues are easy to fix.

I believe my fourth stay at this hotel, usually whilst motorcycle touring with my wife or friends. Staff are friendly and helpful, the hotel is clean and secure with an added bonus of location on the banks of the Loire.

Lovely hotel in an ideal position by the river. Our only complains that there were very thin cardboard cups in the rooms for hot drinks. We understand they are trying to be eco friend it surely proper cups that can be washed are more environmentally friendly

We stoped here on our way back from the Vendée so we could see the Chateau and town, Location - 10 minute walk across the bridge into the main town. Hotel - Clean, modern, the views from the bar terrace across to the chateau are amazing. The rooms felt modern and the bed really comfortable. Parking - we were able to park outside the front of the hotel for free and we understand there is also parking underground on request. Overall great value for the location and service - would recommend if you are stopping in the area.

Situated across the river from the town you get tremendous views across to the Château and life on the river. Hotel was clean, reception friendly and the bedrooms fine and air conditioned! If you can, get a river side room. Breakfast was excellent and staff friendly and ensuring items were replenished. Only gripe was bar closing at 11pm on the dot and the only draught beer was Heineken! Plenty parking as well.

This Hotel on the Loire was so good, we booked it again on our return journey. The staff and delightful and helpful, the rooms are perfect and the beds are the best we stayed in on our month's tour through France. We have already recommended this hotel to a friend, who has booked. Highly recommend this Hotel - thank you for looking after us so well.
