Das Dormero-Hotel-Rügen befindet sich im historischen KdF-Bau am Strandabschnitt Süd in Prora. Man kann bequem mit dem Zug anreisen. Der Bahnhof Prora-Ost ist wenige Gehminuten vom Hotel entfernt. Das Apartment-Hotel ist eine Mischung aus Ferienwohnung und Hotel. Es überrascht durch seine großzügige Raumgestaltung - dies gilt sowohl für die öffentlichen Bereiche im Hotel (Flure, Fitnesscenter, Schwimmbad, Sauna und Ruheraum) als auch für die einzelnen Zimmer. Die Räumlichkeiten sind sehr gepflegt und neuwertig und eignen sich optimal zur Selbstversorgung. Ich war nun schon drei mal für kürzer Aufenthalte in unterschiedlichen Zimmertypen zu Gast - es hat mir immer sehr gut gefallen. Die Zimmer zur Meerseite sind überwiegend mit Balkon und viel Morgensonne und Meeresrauschen. Aber auch die Zimmer zur Rückseite haben ihre Vorzüge - noch mehr Stille und viel Abendsonne. Überhaupt fühlte ich mich in diesem Hotel immer sehr wohl und ungestört - so kann man sich richtig erholen. Das Hotelpersonal ist sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Beim einchecken wird sich viel Zeit für einen genommen - manchmal wird man auch persönlich zum Zimmer gebracht - überhaupt steht einem das sympathische Hotelpersonal für Fragen und Wünsche gerne zur Verfügung. Ich komme immer wieder gerne.

We’re now on the 4th day of our week-long stay and are running out of supplies (toilet papers, soap, trash bags). Took several attempts to call the front desk successfully and when someone finally picked up, was told that they don’t provide additional supplies. It’s totally weird when this answer comes from a 4-star hotel. We paid so much, but they don’t provide as much. Check in experience was just OK as I had to wait in another line again since the person I went to doesn’t speak English. Splash area gave good first impression, but the slides in the play area are not slippery enough they don’t slide well although we already used the carpet provided. It’s a pity that they built many of them but none of the kids like playing with them. Unfortunately same thing happens with the big water slide in the pool area. My 4 year old has to slide himself with his legs all the way down. Apartments are well equipped, but again supplies are limited. No coffees/teas are provided. However, coffee machine and water kettle are there. Breakfast is good but not exceptional. I would try to find other places to stay next time as this is just an okay place to stay for the price I paid.

Ho appena tornato a casa da un soggiorno di 4 notti all'Hotel Merkur. Ho preso i miei 3 figli dal lunedì al venerdì per celebrare il loro compleanno, i miei gemelli hanno fatto 21 anni e la mia altra figlia ha celebrato il 40. Ho scelto questo hotel a causa delle recensioni di quanto amichevole il personale dell'hotel e di tutti i contatti personali che hanno fornito, come, bottiglia di bolle per l'arrivo e la casa-made Jam e/o marmalade come regalo di partenza. Purtroppo non abbiamo visto nulla di questo, nonostante io li abbia inviati per posta elettronica per informarli della nostra ragione per il vacanza. La stanza che ci era stata data era 002 e, sebbene molto di base, avevamo un grande bagno. Le finestre guardavano un muro, non molto luce del giorno nella stanza, ma ci siamo sentiti bene, perché la stanza era cool e non avevamo intenzione di essere cosi' tanto. Non voleva essere negativo, ma ... all'arrivo abbiamo ricevuto solo la chiave e ha detto dove si trova la nostra stanza, nessun pacchetto di benvenuto o persino informazioni sulle strutture dell'hotel, ecc. (Siamo venuti a conoscenza solo l’ultimo giorno che avevano un giardino che avremmo potuto usare e che avevano venduto bevande dolci alla reception.) La stanza non aveva nemmeno un apparecchio per la preparazione di tè/caffe', che noi troviamo molto insolito e deludente. L'ultima volta che ci siamo recati, quando si è verificato, si è chiesto se avessimo preso qualcosa dal mini bar a cui ho risposto ”Che mini bar?” ”Quello nella tua stanza” eh??? Non avevamo un mini bar!! Il nostro hotel ha avuto la peggiore stanza e ci ha sentiti come ospiti di seconda classe. Oh, ho dimenticato di menzionare, mia figlia è tornata all'hotel quando dormevo e non voleva colpire troppo forte la porta, se non si disturbava altri ospiti, ci ha chiesto di poterla entrare e ci ha detto che non avevano un'altra chiave, quindi si sedette in ricevimento. Eh???!!!. Adoro Praga e certamente tornerò, ma non all'Hotel Mercur.

In generale, il soggiorno - eravamo in parcheggio per due notti - era buono. La stanza era pulita, il personale amichevole, la colazione molto buona, soprattutto la selezione del pane e il buon tè. Per quanto riguarda i punti critici e due punti di detrazione, siamo stati in giro in bicicletta, e alla ricezione ci è stato detto che potremmo fermare le ruote sia nella cortina che nel seminterrato di un edificio vicino. L'opzione 1 è stata immediatamente spostata dopo la valutazione, poiché il parcheggio del supermercato adiacente era completamente visibile e accessibile, e non volevamo rischiare con le nostre biciclette elettroniche. L'opzione 2 significava trasportare le due ruote una scala in basso e rientrare la mattina dopo. fattibile, ma soprattutto per gli ospiti anziani sicuramente difficile.
