Good hotel but very very small rooms Very expensive , too expensive

Better late than never! Me and my wife went on a honeymoon during first days of august and we were a bit terrified beforehand because we never travel. Thankfully we made a right choice with the destination and more importantly the hotel! The hotel staff were superb and always there if we needed anything. We sent an email to the hotel a few months before in order to reserve the honeymoon suite and oh boy the suite had EVERYTHING. The view, private outside pool, breakfast served to your room you name it. We had an absolutely wonderful trip and we stayed there for 7 nights straight. I want to thank the staff starting from the receptionists to the poolside staff, (lets go Sharif!), poolbar restaurant manager and finally the piccolo who carried all our luggage during the crazy heat. If we had the chance to come back tomorrow, I would be packing already!

We had a wonderful stay at On the Rocks - 9/30 to 10/4. The weather was perfect sunny 85 daily. The staff were amazing and accommodating. The resort was beautiful overlooking the caldera. Our room was fabulous and large with an our own pool. It was very comfortable and inviting. They did let us know the water was not to be used for drinking but supplied us daily with plenty of water. To have our own pool and deck overlooking the caldera made breakfast beautiful every morning. I had a wonderful candle oil massage here too ! The location was great- in between Fira and Oia- but far enough way from the hustle and bustle of the Cruise ports. The stairs were a workout lol- but totally worth it !

This was a solo trip, which I promised myself 30 years ago when I first visited Santorini. I stayed at On The Rocks cliffside hotel for 10 days in July/August. Suite 13 is the prettiest in the whole hotel, with beautiful cerise pink bougainvillea flowers cascading from the stunning private rooftop terrace to my front door below. Everything was simply perfect. The staff are truly incredible - special thanks to the restaurant/bar/room service team Xara, Sharif, Marius & Suhem. Thanks also to Edward the porter & Maria in reception. I can't wait to return to see you all again early next year. Thank you all for an unforgettable holiday. There is just one thing I wanted to mention to the management team: the uniforms for bar/restaurant/ room service staff need to be reviewed. The material is so thick/warm and oversized, bearing in mind these incredible people are running up and down hundreds of steps all day and all night. They should have the option of a uniform that's made in light cotton, and tailored to fit them so they are more comfortable during the long shifts where they are truly the backbone of the hotel. Maybe cotton or linen fabric, and the option of bermuda shorts, and short-sleeved shirts? Just a thought. Thanks again to the whole team at On The Rocks. I left another little of piece of my heart in beautiful Santorini. I know the season ends in a few weeks time; enjoy the rest you all so richly deserve & I'm already looking forward to returning in April 2025.

A beautiful quaint hotel which has a luxurious/ minimalist feel set into the cliff side. It’s the ultimate bucket list experience of staying in a cliff side location with views of the Caldera without the price tag of staying in Oia. I loved our stay here. Our room had a roof terrace with its own sun loungers and table and chairs. Which was perfect for having your breakfast there. The breakfast was great and I loved the fact they brought it to your room and that the day before you could pick what you wanted. The room was small but had everything we needed and the view more than made up for it. The location was great. Lots of beautiful bars and restaurants nearby whilst all the time taking in the amazing views.
