The Intercontinental in Santo Domingo provided not only the best location for business, pleasure and shopping, but the customer service is simply exceptional. I stayed for over 10 days on business and personal matters. Enjoyed the gym and the pool overlooking the city, the flawless rooms …and the best sushi bar in the city. The desserts at the restaurant are memorable. Special thanks to the employees at the desk who helped me and went out of the way when I lost my laptop charger (so profesional) and to the helpful limo driver Sr. Norberto. I have stayed at the Intercontinental in São Paulo and San Pedro Sula and they are also excellent. The experience in Santo Domingo was the best. Highly recommended!

L'hotel è bellissimo e questa è la nostra 6a visita, ma il personale della reception è stupendo, hanno una formazione di servizio al cliente zero e sono rudi e quasi tutti noi abbiamo parlato alla piscina ci hanno informato che avevano la stessa questione. Il problema è che la gestione ne è stata consapevole da molto tempo, ma non ha ancora ignorato i loro clienti e con la mia ultima denuncia mi è stato informato che il manager dell'hotel era arrabbiato con me per la denuncia che è triste. Non hanno trovato la nostra prenotazione che costa qualche ora di stronzate con il personale di gestione che sono piuttosto incompetenti.

La vista dalla finestra della camera, letteralmente affacciata sull'oceano, vale quasi da solo il costo neppure esorbitante di una notte in questo gradevole hotel sul Malecon di Santo Domingo. L'albergo è molto classico, con una bella piscina sulla terrazza sempre affacciata sul mare, camere abbastanza ampie, funzionali e tranquille, una palestra ed un paio di ristoranti con ampie vetrate sul mare, uno a la carte l'altro a buffet adibito anche per una colazione di buon livello. Devo dire che una breve e doverosa sosta nella bella capitale coloniale trova un'ottima soluzione in questo Catalonia in particolare in termini di rapporto qualità prezzo, davvero eccellente. E poi la vista, specie dalle camere site ai piani più alti è impagabile.

Incredibly friendly staff. From the check-in desk the serving staff at the hotel. I did not get every server's name the one gentleman really stuck out cannot remember his name young lookingbeard mustache very nice the other gentleman younger taller gentleman he was incredibly helpful I tried speaking Spanish he tried speaking English which is what I got from the serving staff here which was awesome. I do want to give a special shout out to Angelica Duarte she was there every day when I had breakfast and one time when I had lunch,she went above and beyond to be very friendly make sure everything I wanted I had within an expedient manner. The room was great the bed was super comfortable I actually was thankful it was an ironing board and iron in there because I needed it I haven't ironed anything in over 20 years. Bathroom was spacious the room was spacious. The pool was very nice as well they do have a nice little courtyard you can sit outside and eat or drink. Front desk staff was super helpful incredibly wonderful I had questions for them and they gave me honest answers. I wanted to run to convenience store to get Coca-Cola because there's no Coca-Cola here I asked the woman if I could walk there she said I would not recommend it it was also 12:30 a.m. . I took her advice and had a 7UP. The rest of the front staff on my stay from August 2nd to August 5th who I interacted with I cannot remember all their names I apologize for that but everyone was incredibly super friendly super helpful if my travels take me back to Santo Domingo Dominican Republic I will definitely consider staying here. The only suggestion I have please get Coca-Cola in here.

Se hai solo bisogno di un posto pulito con un forno questo hotel è perfetto la mia seconda volta che resta qui è sempre pulito la mia TV nella mia stanza non ha funzionato Internet non è grande ma credo che sia un business di proprietà di famiglia come dite con il più alto livello di la più pulita e l'hotel è ben mantenuto molto spazioso e un prezzo molto decente
