Santiago: i migliori hotel a 5 stelle

Mi dispiace dire che sono rimasta delusa. Mi hanno dato una stanza, la 112, che per me è stato un incubo. È situata al piano terra a fianco dell’ ascensore. Quasi non ho riposato e ho passato tutto il soggiorno con il fastidioso rumore dell’ Ascensore anche in piena notte. Un incubo considerando il prezzo. Rumore e fastidio costante e nessuno che si è scusato. Per la colazione mettono dei turni che sono a orari fissi ma non si sanno organizzare. L’ affaccio della stanza su cassonetti oer strada e si sentiva tutto. Le stanze carine ma nulla di speciale. Io vi consiglierei di impiegare meglio i vostri soldi.

Todo genial , la ubicación es ideal por la tranquilidad de no estar en mismo centro pero a la vez muy cerca , las instalaciones estupenda y por sobre todo resaltó los jardines que tiene alrededor

Hotel is in a great location and near all the main tourist areas, and also shops, bars and restaurants. I was very disappointed about the staff at the hotel. On check-in, after waiting about 10 minutes as the receptionist typed on her computer, we eventually got our room keys. Staff were not very welcoming and did not tell us anything about the hotel, facilities, breakfast room or the Pool. When we got to the room, we found that we didnt have a bath-tub (which was why I booked that room), no robe and no slippers. Mini-bar was empty with a sign saying it was closed due to Covid safety. I have no idea what Covid safety has to do with it. No other hotel I was in in Spain has had excuse. Also, no water in the room. No sanitisers in the room either. When I called reception to enquire, she said she would send water up, and then we had to sign to pay 4 Euro for the bottle. Terrible service, how can a hotel not provide water to their guest. This is coming from an expensive 5 star hotel. On checkout it was as bad, but I couldnt wait to leave then. Checkout person had a phone to his ear the whole time, took our key cards, and the continued his call. No receipt, no 'goodbye', nothing. The room itself was very nice, but the sound proofing is absolutely awful. All we could hear each morning was the noise of doors banging, hoovers and we could even hear snoring from the room beside us. So you had no choice but to wake up early with all the noise. Also the air-con is terrible, we left it on the whole time, and the room was still very warm. It was only about 20 degrees outside, so I would hate to stay here in the miiddle of Summer. Total let down of a hotel, I would avoid it. I think alot of 5 star hotels have gotten lazy during Covid, but have no problem charging top prices.

a very nice and cozy hotel Fall in love with it at first sight. The staff was very nice too. Introduced everything we need know for our few days' trip in Santiago. Only 10 to 15 mins away from Cathedral.

Hotel super moderno, spazioso, uno splendido scenario, personale cortese, camere spaziose, letti deliziosi, lenzuola bianche pulite, bagni impeccabili. Tutto è molto pulito. Buona posizione, ma è necessario guidare. L'hotel offre un servizio di trasferimento. Consiglio vivamente

Hotel presso il centro universitario di Santiago con una struttura moderna. Belle le camere dotate di buon confort. Servizio di check-in gentile e breakfast continentale ma ben fornito. Ho cenato nel bar ristorante con buoni piatti . Prezzi buoni

This is my favorite hotel in my favorite city in Spain. The hotel is situated a five minute walk to the Cathedral and the historic area with plenty of great restaurants and other historic sites. The hotel itself is very historical. Getting to the hotel is easy and the hotel has plenty of parking. The hotel staff is very friendly, knowledgeable and professional. The Rooms I’ve stayed in are modern and roomy with comfy beds and pillows. Room and bathroom were very clean. Breakfast was great. Restaurant and housekeeping staff were very friendly. I try to get to Santiago several times a year and I wouldn’t consider staying at any other hotel.

Super easy access off the motorway and in the carpark within a minute, this hotel is solid. Rooms are spacious and super clean. Everything maintained to a high standard. Good breakfast. I really liked this hotel as the access on and off the freeway was so easy. I had a large SUV and i am not used to negotiating the narrower streets in many Spanish towns. Carparking was free and i preferred the lower level ( first gate from exit of roundabout ) as it was easier to walk through into the lift and up to reception or direct to room. A bit of motorway noise but not enough to bother me ( might bother some )as the bed and linen so comfortable. I found the walk into old town quite fun, joining in with many pilgrims. ( about 1.8k each way) Took the car to shopping centres though! There is a local shopping ***** with restaurants etc. I will be back.

This is one difficult review to write as I always like to say as many positive things in my reviews. However, this has to be said if only for the hotel to improve their service and/or re-evaluate their culture. I was excited that this hotel was a Melia hotel because we've stayed in Melia hotels in Spain before and were very happy with our experience. Here is one beautiful, modern hotel that we looked forward to staying in especially after our Camino Walk. I checked in our group of 9 ahead of the others and was efficiently attended to by Pilar and Lourdes at the Front Desk. The hotel offered a lovely breakfast spread. That's where all the positives stop, I'm afraid. That night, we booked for a late dinner to celebrate my son's birthday and the end of a tiring Camino Walk. While seated at the long table in front of the bar, we were subjected to very rude treatment by the waitress named Marta. When one of our companions asked for an extra soup bowl, she said it was impossible. To give her the benefit of the doubt in case there was a misunderstanding in language differences, my friend asked our Spanish tour escort to ask the waitress for our bowl. The next thing we saw was our tour escort being rudely treated by the waitress speaking to our tour escort at the bar, telling him off. We understand some Spanish but what we saw from the body language and our tour escort backing away from the wait staff spoke volumes. He was being harassed by the wait staff. All we asked was for our tour escort to ask our waitress, Marta, in Spanish for an extra soup bowl. And we saw very aggressive behavior directed at our tour escort. She handed our tour escort a sauce dish, not a soup bowl, that's how offensive she was. When he told Marta that he wanted to deal with another waiter Christian (the other wait staff who was also there with Marta) told him, pointing at Marta, ”she's the boss”. Where was customer care in this scenario? If Marta refused to attend to our needs, why couldn't Christian attend to us? Two of us went up to the bar to talk to Marta and Christian when we saw what was going on. When I asked her what her problem was, Marta glared at me and said she didn't speak Spanish and went away. I took out my phone and typed on Google Translate: ”Be kind. You are in Customer Service. Where is your manager?” I showed it to Christian since Marta refused to deal with us. A bit later, Pilar from Front Desk came and talked to my friend and me. We told her that we didn't want trouble but that this massive, massive failure in customer service must be addressed. Pilar was very defensive of the wait staff but she did listen when we insisted. When we asked for a manager, or the Officer-In-Charge, we were told that there was no manager on hand. All the staff, all, covered for one another. It made us wonder about the culture of the company. To make things worst, 2 of our orders were not served and we were charged for the orders. It is a good
