Hotel a 3 stelle a Santa Ponsa

Ho avuto paura di leggere alcune recensioni, ma devo dire che quando siamo arrivati sono stata piacevolmente sorpresa. Ho pagato per la vista sul mare e wow che vista, siamo stati al piano superiore (camera 712) appartamento da soli cucinato era bellissimo, molto spazioso balcone massiccio con 2 letti solari e tavolo e sedie, buona dimensione cucina e zona da pranzo. Con letti molto confortevoli e cuscini. È stato davvero impressionato dalla stanza, la pulizia e le strutture erano molto buone per un 2+ Star rating. Un po 'dato in alcune parti, ma non ci ha disturbato affatto. La piscina è grande, molti letti disponibili, anche se alcuni prenotano le letti poi andare fuori, che accade in molti hotel. La piscina era profonda e aveva solo le scale da entrare e uscire dalla piscina che non si sentono sicuri. Ha avuto un guardiano di vita, tuttavia. Il bar della spiaggia è bello con vista meravigliosa e una bella baia per nuotare. Il personale è sempre amichevole e l'hotel è mantenuto immacolato e non esitarei a raccomandare questo hotel e sicuramente ritornerò in futuro.

I’ll preface my review with we got our room for a great price as we booked quite last minute so my experience reflects that. The location is 5 min walk to the beach, bars and restaurants but tucked away so no loud revellers passing at night! The room we were in was likely the most basic they have. It was small without a balcony (or fridge) but it was clean and the beds were very comfortable plus good air con (which was a godsend after spending all day in the humid temps!). We will upgrade for a balcony next time as drying wet items without it was a faff. Staff were friendly and accommodating however make sure to use your house keeping sign should you want your room cleaned as we forgot and had to request fresh towels (which reception were happy to provide for us) The pool area was our favourite by far, it’s well maintained and super quiet. There was always a sun bed available and plenty of shade. The only con here is access to the actual pool isn’t till 11 which is quite late really but it closes at 7pm. Plenty of soft and alcoholic drink options, including cocktails at the bar and they also do food (like pizza, chips etc) but we didn’t try it so I can’t comment on it. Breakfast was included but it’s a very small selection of items. Bacon, scrambled eggs, beans or tomatoes, cereals, breads, fruit, cold meats, cheese, tea coffee and fruit juices. We personally loved the breakfast that was included as it was enough for us but for those used to big hotels, you may be disappointed. They have a luggage store room that has a shower which was fab as we had a late flight back but you can request a late checkout for an additional charge (€20/25pp) Beach/pool towels are available but require a refundable €10 deposit. We just kept the same one for the full trip. Overall we had a very pleasant time and hope to return soon!

Room was really spacious and clean. Location is fantastic. We had 3 adults in a room and it was plenty of room. Iron was available from reception Beds were comfy, sofa bed easy to pull out. Reason for 4 stars was reception man was a little rude when we arrived and asked me to provide evidence that it was for portofino and not the other hotel which I had and we found the hotel was booked with another name from our party. Not the end of the world. Also room only had 1 mirror which was in the bathroom. It would have been nice to have a full length mirror somewhere and maybe a mirror in the bedroom. Pool was great too. Clean and we were able to get a sunbed. Not over crowded. I would definitely stay again. Our room - from our balcony we could see the beach so it was lovely in the morning. Supermarket and restaurants close by, really great location.

Siamo stati li da fine agosto fino ai primi di settembre. Tempo perfetto. Inizio con la prenotazione fatta direttamente da sito dell'hotel, semplice. Hanno risposto a tutte le mie domande con molta precisione e gentilezza. Qualche giorno prima della partenza in una mail di recap mi hanno mandato anche il link per eventuale transfer, che abbiamo utilizzato. Comodissimo ed economico 50€ a/r tre persone. Siamo arrivati ed abbiamo avuto ottima accoglienza dal personale in reception in quel momento, Anton.. Simpatico, educato, preciso. La camera ok, avevamo la 126, in realtà è un appartamento. Grande, nuovo, comodo con tutti i confort. Phon, frigo, cucina.. a chi serve, noi abbiamo scelto la formula All inclusive. NON sono presenti prodotti da bagno, bagnoschiuma, saponette etc. Vista piscina, tutte le camere danno sulle piscine. Grande, piccola, scivoli. È tutto concentrato li. Bimbi felici perché ci si può tuffare e fare tutto il ”******” tipico dei bimbi felici. PERSONALE: tutto il personale gentilissimo, disponibile, carino, educato, a disposizione. Qualcuno capisce l'italiano anche se le lingue parlate in assoluto sono Inglese e spagnolo. Ringrazio davvero tutte le ragazze ed i ragazzi del bar, del ristorante, della cucina, delle pulizie, del desk e la signora Eva. CIBO: buon cibo, varietà apprezzabile, ovviamente non abbiamo mai preso la pasta... Ma ci sono tante alternative sempre freschissime e cottura al momento di carne, pesce etc. Non ci si deve aspettare un ristorante stellato ma assolutamente non si rimane a bocca asciutta o disgustati. Cibo buono, abbondante sempre fresco. Così per colazione, pranzo e cena. Al bar si può richiedere anche toast , Hamburger, patatine, nuggets o anelli di cipolla. Buoni. ANIMAZIONE: Julio è stato molto carino, ottimo intrattenitore, nonostante fossimo gli unici italiani presenti ci ha ”accolti” scherzando e traducendo anche in italiano. Simpaticissimo. Ogni sera una spettacolo nuovo e interessante anche per bimbi. Prima dello spettacolo giochi e baby dance. PULIZIA:gli spazi comuni sono curati, purtroppo tanta gente se ne frega dell'educazione e spesso abbiamo trovato sporcizia, bicchieri sporchi, tovaglioli, piatti e vassoi anche negli spazi comuni, sulle sdraio o sull'erba del solarium.. Le camere sono pulite ed i letti rifatti giornalmente. POSIZIONE ottima, si trova vicino alla spiaggia, libera ed attrezzata di Santa Ponca, due lettini ed un ombrellone 13,50€ Mare e spiaggia puliti Doccia free Bagno a pagamento Se ci tornerei? The apartments are well appointed in Santa Ponsa just a short walk from the bay and restaurants. I was welcomed by the night manager who was very helpful. The apartment was clean and well equipped. I have no issues with the 'front of house' experience. But, I question the company's ability to rationalise a dispute fairly. I was there for 2 nights only, visiting for a special occasion. When I returned from eating after a long day I was locked out of my room and the night manager couldn't gain access with his pass key. He kindly arranged another room for me but all my belongings were locked in the other room. I was due to be picked up the following morning for a trip into Palma, but missed the opportunity as I had to stay to wait for my belongings. They had to break into the room to access my stuff. The company's view towards my compensation was that they gave me another room so that's all they were prepared to offer, well I should hope they did give me another room I'd paid for it. I can't be bothered to take this any further to be honest, but be mindful if you're staying here and you have medication in your room, for example.

Booked a 2 night stay here with 14yr. We found the staff friendly, our apartment was clean, shower was great, air con in one room only, nice view from the balcony. Plenty of sunbeds (few need to be tighten up), pools are lovely, pool timings only till 6pm which would have be nice to have an extra hour as it is a sun trap. Pool bar 5.5euro for a beer, full English breakfast with a cuppa 8.5, food was lovely and served hot, staff helpful & polite. There is a great curiosity room & towels supplied. The steps down to the beach/shops is one to know about, however it is what it is. We would defo go back for a mini break.

Terrible Experience at Hotel Playas del Rey majorca– Avoid! My family and I stayed at Hotel Playas del Rey in Santa Ponsa from August 19th to 25th, and it was by far the worst hotel experience we've ever had. This hotel is completely rundown, dirty, and in desperate need of renovation. The room we stayed in was filthy—ceiling leaks, broken furniture, and dirty bathrooms were just the start. Pillows and blankets were in terrible condition, and we even found cockroaches in the room. The dust in the room was so bad that it triggered my daughter's asthma, leaving her unwell for the rest of our stay. Despite complaining to the manager, nothing was done to address these issues. On top of the room conditions, basic services were lacking. Towels for the swimming pool had to be paid for, which is ridiculous. The breakfast was included in our booking, but it was an absolute disaster. We had to walk to another road for breakfast, and once there, the selection was terrible. The place was dirty, with only one overwhelmed lady trying to serve everyone. The food options were practically non-existent. To make matters worse, I requested a late checkout and offered to pay for it. The rooms were empty, but the staff still refused, showing a complete lack of customer care. I strongly advise against staying at this hotel. The positive reviews and photos online are completely misleading. It’s shocking how poorly maintained this hotel is, and how little the staff seems to care about their guests' well-being. Avoid at all costs!
