Apartamento Rosamar

Apprehensive before arriving because we had such a good deal we were expecting a basic hotel. Check in was quick and effortless. Our room was very big with a very large terrace overlooking the pool. We had breakfast one morning which was cooked fresh and very tasty and filling. The pool area is big and no problem getting a lounger. It is away from San Antonio town. 40 min walk or a short taxi /water boat ride away. The staff are friendly. The hotel is clean and comfortable and the food is lovely. What more do you want? I would return to this hotel no problem.

very dated surrounds as your walking into reception, chunks of paint missing from outside wall. tv didnt work for 2 weeks. lift stopped working after 3 days so we used access lift, control panel was missing, awful smell in the corridor like something had died. toilets in reception were disgusting only one working but c**p everywhere. we complained so much however, the staff were very understanding and helpful. obviously management dosen't care as it was coming to the end of the season. 2 lights in the room and bathroom had to be replaced!

booked in had to wait two hours till the room was ready, The room was good size bit outdated good aircon, no kettle had to ask at reception , Balcony (room 302) looks out across buildings and partial sea view.TV only 2 English channels (not fussed) room not the best cleanliness after further inspection with grime and hair apparent. Reception staff looked like they were tired and bored, bar staff slow and also looked like they wished you weren't there, pool area good size with horrible view of the graffiti building, lack of parasols, and the ones you could find were broken, overall an average hotel with a need of a shake-up. outside the hotel is not much better with a couple of decent bars and graffiti everywhere, like your in Harlem. Unfortunately, this hotel does lack quite a bit more like a weekend getaway for parties, and this part of Ibiza is a poor mess

Very last minute booking as it was the only hotel who had a room in August due to our flight home being cancelled. On arrival, our room was not 100% clean with cotton buds and bottle lids on the floor. The towels had huge rips in the them and hair on the bed sheets. I complained to reception and they gave me new towels. The walls and curtains were dirty. Also they had a leak in the first bedroom which flooded the entrance and it STANK the whole time we were there. We each paid €12 for breakfast daily which was disappointing and it was never checked so anyone could just walk in and eat. They did have gluten free bread available. There was no hot food options on buffet display. I was going to rate it 3* overall, but on the morning of check out we turned up to breakfast at 7am but they said it only opens at 7.30am (please see image attached that stands at the front desk). They could not provide us anything and couldn’t get a refund either…so this dropped the review to 2*. Pool towels require a €10 deposit in CASH which we didn’t have so had to draw from the ATM and it charged €3.95 to draw the money. There are sun loungers around the pool but only 6 umbrellas so limited. Some of the rooms have sea views but it is looking through a derelict graffitied building. If you have a car, it’s €15 daily if you want to use their car park otherwise there is street parking but often really busy and we ended up parking 1km away!! Warning: careful where you park as we got a parking fine (and still not sure what we did wrong!). Make sure you pack earplugs as the doors are really thin so can hear all your neighbours and especially if they flush the toilet or shower, the water/pipes are very noisy. Shower temperature was also very temperamental and often cold. Overall, very basic and provided us a roof over our heads whilst we waited for our flight home but I would not return.

Hotel was clean, had a great choice of loungers, a really nice pool and really friendly reception staff. The bar staff on the other hand were really slow. It would take ages to get a drink even when it wasn’t busy and the wait for the food isn’t worth it. For 2 days straight we all waited genuinely 1 hour plus for a hotdog and chips for 2 people. The first day we thought it was just a blip but the following day we ordered again to see if it was a one off and we waited another 1 hour 10 mins. When we asked what was taking so long they said that “it was just coming”. If you want a drink or food your best bet is to take your own drink with you to the pool and get some snacks at one of the shops nearby. And for taxis don’t bother- the hotel gives you one number to call and no one answers, it’ll ring out for 20+ minutes with no answer and even if they do they won’t send a cab. Best bet is to go round the corner and try your luck with a taxi on the street. It isn’t great when you’re pretty far away from the *****/clubs so if you’re here for that best bet is to find another hotel or be prepared to walk for 30 mins.

375€ disappeared from the room, and the manager was laughing on my face and saying that because I was drunk I lost them. Unfortunately I don’t drink, and unfortunately the money disappeared from our bags while we were on the beach. If you don’t wanna be robbed go somewhere else!

Couldn’t fault it location perfect big rooms . Polite helpful staff clean hotel . Would defo recommend to friends walking distance the beech shops 2 min walk . Highly recommended this hotel great value . 5 min walk to restaurants the staff are very polite and helpful

Had great couple of nights in Ibiza using the Rosamar as a base. It's clean, basic (no bin in the room for example), but an ideal location away from the noise of the centre. It's €8-10 in a taxi. Nice beach a 5 minute walk away with a good bar (No Bad Day) and a restaurant (good but VERY slow service). Quick mention of Maria on reception. She's lovely.
