The stay in the hotel was wonderful - the grounds are lovely with a very relaxed and happy feel to the whole place and the staff were all very friendly. We just had room and breakfast so didn't eat that much in the hotel but all the food that we had was excellent. The rooms were were excellent - a little bit tired in some parts, but then that's the case for every big hotel that i've stayed in and they were well cleaned every day. The public areas were all well maintained and cleaned. There is a bit of a hike down the stairs to the attached beach club (Cocos) but there is a shuttle bus if you don't feel up to it. I'd 100% go back there and wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to family and friends

Quando sono arrivato nella mia stanza, la prima cosa che ho detto è stata, che bella e spaziosa suite! Non ho usato il lato della sala da pranzo, a parte tenere i bagagli sul tavolo della sala da pranzo. La camera era bella e il letto era decente. Il bagno era ben progettato e, sebbene ci fosse tempo per riscaldare l’acqua calda dalla guancia del bacino, l’acqua calda del doccia non era affatto riscaldata, quindi il mio doccia era un’acqua fredda inconfortabile. Il condizionatore d’aria funzionava bene, e la casa era molto tranquilla di notte, che apprezzo molto; la piscina e la sala sembravano rilassanti, e era tranquilla mentre ero lì. L’unica cosa che non mi piaceva era la custodia di casa, entrando nella mia stanza, anche se avevo il segno sul bottone della porta che non mi disturbava, quindi non apprezzo che il mio vestito di dormitorio fosse piegato e messo nella mia sporca borsa. L’altra cosa era, il piccolo cazzo che ho trovato sotto la mia coperta che cercava di scorrere prima di sbarazzarmi di essa, e poi la spiaggia nel mio letto il giorno del confezionamento che dovevo sbarazzarmi per evitare di tornare a casa.

Abbiamo soggiornato in hotel molte volte! Prenotiamo sempre la vista sul mare o le camere di vista sull'oceano. Sappiamo che queste stanze sono sulla strada e possono essere alti! E' fuori controllo! Eravamo lì il 22 gennaio 23, e il 24 t. La nostra notte scorsa il bar club di notte lungo la strada Chula aveva intrattenuto. Cominciarono a suonare alti e intendo la musica altissima, a ore 9:00. La musica ha giocato tutta la notte fino alle 7:30 del mattino. Non dormire affatto! Non sono l'unico bar che fa questo. Non affittare le camere dell'Oceano, in realtà mi starei lontano da questo posto. E' una posizione alta, come avete mai sentito! . Questo non è uno scherzo, e può rendere miserabile il viaggio a Zicatela. I bar e i club governano la zona e non si preoccupano degli hotel. Andate da qualche altra parte! Eravamo tornati otto di noi, e noi ci noleggeremo quattro camere, ma non ci siamo!!

This so-called 4-star-hotel is totally overrated - the staff is very kind, but the paid breakfast is less then you'll get on an airplane, it's not more than a starter. You'll get no juice if you already took 3 tiny pieces of fruit. Or you'll get one glass of cheap juice from concentrate (not even real juice in a 4-star hotel!), but then no fruit. And don't ask for a second small glass of juice - you won't get it, you already had one. You can choose only one tiny meal, and nothing more. But no extras like chicken or so. Just tacos with a sauce on it. That's it. After this breakfast, you have to go to another place, because you'll be hungry as before. I'm staying in hotels around the world most of the year, but this breakfast is one of the worst I've ever got. If I were here on vacation, I would cancel right away and change my stay. The rooms are big but totally basic - I wonder how they got 4 stars - not even a fridge or a water cooker in the room. If you want more water than provided in the room, you have to pay. Sorry, this is 4 stars and we talk about water!! Never experienced this before, and this is not my first time in Mexico. They just want you to pay for everything. In the morning I wake up because the laundry is in front of my window. The view outside the window is a white wall. You will not get a good sleep here, because you hear EVERYTHING that happens in this hoteI. I would not recommend this stay at all for vacation, in a hostel I would feel more welcome. Read the other reviews - I'm not the only one with this terrible experience here, especially regarding the breakfast. We kindly told them our problems with the breakfast, but they are not willing at all to improve their service. Today at breakfast I kindly asked again: ”I believe it's not possible to get a second glass of juice?” - The answer: ”no, not possible, just one”. If it wouldn't be so horrible here, I would have to laugh. The pictures provided by the hotel are far away from reality.

Let me start by saying that if you’re looking for a budget hotel then this might be a good option for you as the price was very affordable (however, the breakfast is not included and to be honest it’s delicious but quite expensive). The rooms were not exactly as nice as shown in the pictures, but they were still pleasant, the big upside was the floor which was made from like a marble or something which was very cold creating a refreshing breeze in the room (even though it was extremely hot in Puerto, sometimes we didn’t even have to turn on the AC thanks to that). The problem with the room tho was that the doors had a big gap on the bottom which allowed many bugs to crawl in especially in the evening when the light was on, so we had to fill that gap with our stuff, and there was also a gap on the side that we could not cover so mosquitos were able to fly inside which was very disconcerting for us. The biggest downside, however, was that while half of the staff was nice and welcoming, some were very rude and made us feel very unwelcome. It was a big surprise for us since the hotel talks about having great atmosphere etc (just like I’ve said tho not whole staff was rude, just some individuals). For example there was one lady in the reception who was very rude and did not even care to smile or say „hello” or „bye” back, when you’d say „Hi” she would just give you a hostile look and then go back to doing something on her phone which I think creates a very bad image for a hotel that talks about great atmosphere and about everyone being friendly. Fortunately, there were also some very friendly people that organised small trips e.g. for sunset viewing which was awesome. Overall, this is a very affordable hotel, but unfortunately the atmosphere is not as great as you’d think and because they organise some events (on the hotel premises) late in the evening or during the day it is difficult to take a nap or even fall asleep at night as the party can go on until late at night + it’s actually quite far from the beaches or from the centre of town, so be prepared to walk a lot.

Hola viajeros, pues para ser sincero el hotel tiene un excelente costo-beneficio. yo quede encantado con la vista a la bahia principal y a la hermosa playa de zicatela. Desayuno rico y variedad cumplidora, la habitacion tambien ok, solo el HVAC no enfriaba, pero el abanico en techo, fue suficiente. La alberca deliciosa, climatizada a la perfeccion y con la aplicacion de quimicos super limpia. Las chicas de recepcion un poco serias no tan amables, pero resuelven y te atieneden con respeto. Cada quien habla como le va en la feria, pero yo recomiendo 100%. Sin duda regreso a una de las playas mas increibles de la republica mexicana.
