Dolce Amore Resort

We had a nice stay here and as a couple, we stayed four nights. Overall everything was nice. Rooms: The rooms are basic and clean. The shower is a modern power shower and is easy to use and to get whatever temperature you wish. The windows are privacy (reflective) during the day but not so at night so you need to pull the curtain. The balcony is nice and big with a view of Lee the pool area which is really nice. The bed mattress is comfy. The furniture is minimal and basic but does the job. Staff: We are at the adjoining restaurant two nights, and both times it was nice; one night I had a pizza and the other I had the seafood pasta ‘al dente’. Overall, pretty good Italian food when I compare with Italian restaurants in Ireland or Italy. The staff were very consistently nice and welcoming. They all helped us with any issues/queries or requests we had. We rented a scooter for some of the days too and the staff looked after us with regard to this. Other: The pool area is nice and chill, but could be kept cleaner due to a lot of bugs constantly drowning in it. However, it was still nice. The place has a generator that kicks in a few seconds after every power cut which was very handy and necessary in this island. Areas for improvement: - A safe for the rooms would be good - For the price you pay compared to other more luxurious accommodation, I think breakfast should be included here. It is not much effort for them to provide this, as they are primarily a busy restaurant who does a great trade here. - Pool could be cleaned more regularly - The area for parking the scooters/bikes near the side door should be upgraded to a hard surface like asphalt or concrete for a safer and easier place for guests to park bikes (gets full often and currently is just soil and rubble on a slope). - One small thing was I requested a small jug of milk for the coffee in the room as in Europe we don’t really use creamer much in coffee. I was charged for this. I thought that was a bit mean. - The selection of gelatos we thought was quite poor, but maybe it is tailored to local taste. Usually, a gelato counter has a lot of the classics like cheesecake, forest fruits, cookies and cream etc.

Great place to stay ! I have eaten at the dolce Amore restaurant many many times ! This was the first time staying in the little resort ! Wow it was so very clean and the staff were friendly and very helpful ! Great pool and close to everything you would need ! We ate breakfast lunch and dinner there as well !! I can highly recommend both the rooms and the restaurant ! Best Italian by far , on the island ❤️

Charming place, lovely people, amazing typical italian food, perfect WIFI and great service!!! I loved everything about my stay at Dolce Amore. Thanks to the team for making my workation so enjoyable. Only thing to improve would be no plastic water bottles in the room, especially as I heard that the island tries to be zero waste! You could put a big dispenser in every room and sell reusable bottles.

We stayed in Dolce Amore during our round trip in the Philippines and we really loved the welcoming staff and the delicious food here! The rooms are modern and high standard, the owners are also extrem helpful and attentive. They make you feel like being at home and staying here as “one big family”. We can highly recommend Dolce Amore for sure!

The restaurant & resort is run by a couple both native from Italy. They were very friendly and welcoming. Also shared some tips and spots to visit around the island which was so helpful :) The food is all homemade by them and it’s delicious! The service was fast and the personal was very friendly. We also had breakfast there and the coffee was so tasty.

The service was phenominal! The food was outstanding! The owners are really accomodating! They even baked me a customize a too good to be true chocolate cake. They also allowed my dog inside the restaurant. Over all experience was superb We will definitley be back!

We visited for lunch and we asked for vegan options, the chef and owners are so nice they recommended us what to eat and made something just for us. We really appreciated because around here is not easy to find options for our food. Thanks so much guys, we will be back

J'ai séjourné 3 nuits dans cet hôtel très sympa. Ma chambre était propre et bien agencée. Le lit était confortable. C'est un endroit calme de San Juan, situé à 15 minutes de marche de la plage, environ 15/20 minutes du port en tuk-tuk. Le restaurant italien attenant est un pur délice. Le personnel est chaleureux, accueillant et souriants.

Een fantastische plek zowel om te eten als te verblijven! De eigenaren staan altijd voor je klaar en zijn super vriendelijk. Net als het andere personeel. Iedere dag probeerden we in het restaurant andere dingen van de menukaart en elke keer was het jammer dat je bord leeg was, zo lekker. De kamers zijn netjes en schoon en iedere keer als we laat in de middag terugkwamen was het bed netjes gemaakt en stond er een nieuwflesje water voor je klaar. De badkamer is van alle gemakken voorzien. Daarnaast kun je ook heerlijk relaxen aan het zwembad dat er schoon bijligt. Kortom, vergeet deze plek niet als je op Siquijor bent!
