very friendly hotel if you're with families and pets. beautiful location a short walk from a very fun beach.

L'hotel stesso era molto bello. La stanza era pulita e la posizione era un posto buono. Non era così vicino a cose come alcune delle recensioni che si dicevano fosse. - Il bagno non aveva vento, quindi ogni volta che abbiamo fatto una doccia, l’allarme per il fumo si è svegliato se non avessimo chiuso immediatamente la porta e la teneva chiusa finché non si era sottratto il vapore. - Il valletto perse le chiavi per un po’. I miei figli e io aspettavamo la nostra auto per circa 25 minuti, e ogni altro gruppo che usciva per la tua auto lo riceveva in meno di 5 minuti. Ogni volta che chiesemo dove fosse la mia macchina, continuarono a dire la cosa e probabilmente dimenticarono di scrivere il numero di spot sulle mie chiavi. Finalmente chiesi di parlare con il manager e lui ammesso che non potevano trovare le mie chiavi. Mi irritò che cercassero di tenerlo segreto, invece di farmi sapere che avevano commesso un errore; finalmente trovarono le chiavi e mi compensarono per il valletto, e erano molto gentili per il resto del nostro soggiorno. - Pensavamo che, perché era un resort (anche costoso), avrebbero avuto più divertimento/attività sul terreno, ma tutto ciò che avevano era un paio di piscine e tubi caldi. - Mi piaceva che fosse una fermata di navetta a troll, che si trovava al fondo della proprietà, una navetta libera che si trovava intorno alla città e alle zone della spiaggia di Lagoona.

This Hotel was comfortable, quiet, has a great pool area, and is well kept and tidy. I met friends to Celebrate a friends Birthday.... and had a great time with them... I'll definitely hang out again..so much fun..

When we arrived at check-in with our family of 6, we were told that we would not be given connecting rooms as promised over the phone. After a very long wait, they put us in 2 rooms not even close to each other. On top of that, it was the garden view, with the pool closed for a private event and preparation for a party. We would have to wait until after 5 pm for one of the rooms to be cleaned. They allowed us to access the double bedroom. When we walked in, it smelled like sewage. I called the front desk and asked to speak to the manager. She was accommodating and moved us to the club level - 2 rooms not next to each other. Yippee. Again, this is annoying when you have packed your bags a certain way, you have small children, and you know you will have to walk up and down the hallways to borrow items during your stay. The club level was a nice way to make up for the mishap. The food at this hotel is outrageously expensive. The club level has a full bar and lots of small bites throughout the day. The club-level hallways get a lot of traffic, and the carpets are always dirty. Food, hairballs, and paper trash were all seen. We had a nice rest that night. Going into day 2, we contacted the front desk to see if they had the connecting rooms as promised. They advised us that we needed to get out of our rooms immediately so that they could be cleaned for the next guests. They would store our luggage all day until our rooms would be ready. I mean, what terrible Customer service. We said that we would not be leaving the rooms we were paying for and that we would not let them store our luggage. The hotel ended up putting us in connecting oceanfront rooms after lunch. We had to leave the beach to come change rooms. Annoying, but a better situation for our family. The hotel is overcrowded. They can't keep up with the demand. Our shower doesn't drain. Stains on the carpet. Stains on our blanket in the closet. The valet costs $70 a day. It is always backed up. Be prepared to wait. 45 minutes wait to get ice delivered to your room. The guests below are smoking on their balcony. This makes it hard to smell the ocean or open your patio doors. The pool area is not clean. Cups, old towels and the pool looks slightly green. The basketball and playground areas were dirty with old cups and food containers. The beach is okay if you don't mind watching surfers. If you like to swim, you have to walk down to the public beach area. The lifeguards will remind you all day long. But, you feel like a rockstar when you don't have to carry all that beach junk down to the beach. They have everything you need! We have stayed at other Ritz hotels and know that this is not typical. We hope that they can make some changes before they lose their reputation.

First evening’s dinner on site at The Loft. Creative, delicious menu. Our waiter Roger is not only a foodie, knowledgeable of every story behind every dish on the menu but he is also extremely attentive. We ate outdoors and although the patio had heaters it was still a bit chilly — but Roger I soared on bringing me an ultra soft blanket! Highly recommend the restaurant especially if you are fortunate enough to have Roger!

L'hotel è adeguato. Il letto è comodo. Tutto era pulito e ben mantenuto. La piccola cucina era pulita e conveniente. Il WiFi è eccellente. Buone scelte per la TV via cavo. I mobili non sono particolarmente comodi. Il punto di partenza e la ragione per cui non torneremo (questa era la nostra seconda permanenza in 4 anni) è la donna brutta al receptionist. L'hotel ha una politica di disattivare la chiave della stanza alle 10 del giorno del check-out, di cui non vi informano. Dovevamo tornare a lasciare un tappo, girare il lavastoviglie e prendere l'ultimo sacchetto. Il pulitore alla fine del balcone non era autorizzato a lasciarci tornare. Abbiamo andato in ufficio e un giovane ha attivato la chiave, nessuna domanda. Dopo un paio di minuti per arrampicarci, siamo tornati a girare le chiavi e abbiamo detto a una donna al ricevimento che sembrava piuttosto piccola per disattivare la chiave al di sopra dell'ora, che non avevamo mai visto prima in 50 anni di viaggio. Ha rinunciato a un documento, dicendo che lo avevamo firmato e sapeva che era ora dieci, ci ha chiesto se c'era un periodo di grazia, dicendo che c'era, ma nessuno ci ha detto. Questa è l'unica interazione che abbiamo avuto con il personale diverso dal primo controllo. La nostra esperienza è che questo tipo di rudezza autoritaria significa che ci sono altri problemi sul sito. Quindi non torneremo. Se vai, e hai bisogno di un paio di minuti per controllare, semplicemente non chiudere la porta e salvarti di ottenere la carta rinunciata in faccia. Ristoranti vicino a ciò che ci piaceva: Fig, MRK, Hot N Chile (India), e la Riviera che è nel resort e ci mangiamo lì due volte. Fatevi un viaggio a Laguna Beach e mangiate al Lumberyard sulla strada principale, Forest Avenue, dopo aver goduto i bellissimi negozi. Prenota la casa e il giardino di Hortense Miller a Laguna Beach per un'esperienza rinfrescante e unica.

Honestly I’m so confused about the rating that I should give to this hotel. First I’d like to give a big sour out to Marcus (one of the managers there) he helped us with the confusion that the front desk had regarding our complimentary breakfast. We really appreciate his help. The rooms could use a renovation the key were outdated, the screen o our window was broken. The bathroom was outdated as well the sink and bathtub faucets need to be changed. The staff need lots of training, the housekeeping team had to get their manager to communicate with us as they couldn’t speak English (they only spoke spanish) The front desk lady was talking to us while eating and she had lots of partially chewed food in her mouth while talking to us which wasn’t professional and it didn’t look pleasant at all. The person who worked at the front desk at night was so unfriendly and unprofessional when we called him at 1:30am for very loud noises that were coming from above and lasted for a good two hours till around 3:30am. Even when you go for the hot breakfast buffet, the staff who’s in charge for taking your orders and room numbers was aggressive in the beginning and took our orders while he was seated with his legs crossed, we felt like students standing infront of our teacher,,, although he came to us and told us that he knew he was rude and explained that he did that as people previously complained that they should’ve been told the price of the buffet before they ate as they didn’t want to pay. I think all the staff need to lots of training. Hopefully Adam the new manager does something about it, he listened to our concerns and said that he will look into it.
