Hotel in zona Jewish Zionist Center of Costa Rica, San Jose

La posizione dell'hotel è nel centro della città. È molto buono trovarlo. Il bus a China Street è a dieci minuti di auto.Le strutture dell'hotel sono anche nuove, vale la pena ricordare che il panorama fuori finestra è molto buono! La carenza è che il tipo di colazione è meno, la velocità WiFi è generalmente.

- Ho mandato un'e-mail all'hotel il giorno prima per verificare se sono in grado di inviare una navetta all'aeroporto per prendere me (solo per evitare lo stress di figurare fuori trasporto), ma hanno risposto solo una volta che sono arrivato. Non mi è stato utile aspettare che venissero a prendermi. - La stanza era molto elegante e molto spaziosa: due storie con due bagni pieni e cucina. Non mi servivano, ma erano disponibili. Tuttavia, la doccia in alto vicino al letto mancava una porta, l’acqua spruzzava e faceva bagnata ovunque. Inoltre, la doccia non scorreva bene. Era grosso avere i piedi in acqua sporca... proprio con il bacino, l’acqua non scorreva bene. L'hotel ha fornito una tovagliola a mano e due grandi tovaglioli. Erano vecchie e ruggite. Ho uscito a comprare la mia. Il letto era comodo! Così erano le mutandine e le foglie! Grazie per questo! - Sto addestrando un maratone e per me è stato importante che l’hotel abbia una palestra per poter continuare la mia addestramento. Questo hotel aveva un treno e non funzionava. La prossima volta devo controllare prima di prenotare. - La mia stanza non ha una finestra e quindi molto buia, brillante e depressa. Fortunatamente non ho bisogno di passare troppo tempo qui. Ho detto al ricevitore e lei ha detto che questa è la stanza che mi è stata assegnata. Ho lasciato andare. - L'hotel è in centro e a piedi lontano da tutte le grandi “cose da fare” nella città di San Jose. Ma devo dire che le foto online sembrano molto meglio della realtà dell'hotel. - Vorrei restare ancora qui? Solo se ho bisogno di dormire da qualche parte per una notte.

Great location in the heart of San Jose, within walking distance from all the city’s attractions. As a Hilton member, we were recognised with a great upgrade to a nice and modern room. The daily breakfast was sumptuous with local and western options. The evening happy hour was incredible and the best selection of drinks we’ve ever been to. Would also like to thank several staff who helped us during our stay - Anthony the bellhop, and Carlos + Marcela, severs at the hotel’s restaurant. One suggestion is for the reception counter staff to be more friendly and approachable. The perception we got was they were cold and rushed.

Stayed here for 3 nights. Had a twin room. Bed was comfortable. Aircon was good. Bathroom was nice and shower pressure was good. Breakfast was included and was really nice. This hotel had a laundry room where you could wash and dry your own clothes for €1 for the washing machine and €1 for the dryer. This hotel is within walking distance of downtown San Jose and also Barrio Escalante which has lots of lovely restaurants. Would definitely stay here again.

Like every Selina Hostel there is love in every detail - decoration, lights, good furniture. We had the deluxe room with a lot of space, a table, a sofa, own bathroom and good comfort. The bed was very cosy. We had no warm water for 2 days in our room, but the staff reacted instantly, tried to fix it and we got a free breakfast and some money back. Clean kitchen, enogh fridge space and a cool sofa space in the living kitchen. In total we had a nice and relaxing stay amd would definitly recommand this hostel.

Il personale era molto amichevole! Liliana era la prima che incontrai all'aeroporto per guidarmi per la navetta all'hotel. Luis era il conducente che mi ha dato un vero buon benvenuto! Veramente buono di avere la navetta inclusa, buon personale e colazione disponibile.

PROS: Very clean, air conditioned and modern for a good rate. Wifi and decent breakfast included. The stromanthe triostar plants in the lobby were very nice. CONS: Staff is miserable and takes no accountability for customer service. Stephanie literally lies to your face and tries to overcharge you. Examples: -”oh your safe is broken? just reset with code 123456.” nope. the safe code was set by a previous guest and left open so this didn't fix the problem. We had to take all our valuables on a 13 hour tour because of this - very inconvenient. -”oh, you need another towel because we only gave you 2 despite 3 people in the room? we'll send someone up right away”. no one ever shows. when you call back, if they ever pick up, they say the same thing. -”your shuttle from the airport is confirmed and the driver will have a sign with your name on it” nope; after a long trip we had no one to pick us up. The driver didn't have my booking (he had another name on the sign), so he called the hotel and they confirmed nothing had been booked for us. -”well there's no booking because you obviously have to book it in advance; how would we know you need a shuttle?”. Excuse me? Yes, in fact, I did book it in advance and showed them the email chain (7 emails) with her own confirmation 3 days earlier! -”ok so you found the driver, perfect”. No, not perfect as we've been searching in the sweltering heat, walking up and down through the crowds for 45 minutes with a small child after a long trip. An apology, not a dismissal would be more appropriate in this situation. After speaking to the driver and Stephanie (we are still in the heat outside the airport), Stephanie who confirmed the booking by email then blamed her colleague who in fact didn't book it, And, they still charged us $16 USD for it - which was like rubbing salt in the wound. -”it will be an additional $20 USD for the shuttle” - when they previous told me $16 USD (thankfully in writing) -”it will be $16 USD to have a child in the room” - when my confirmation clearly shows children stay free (thankfully in writing) -guests aren't ”allowed to use the stairs”; long wait for the elevator

Siamo stati preparati quando prenotamo questo hotel da recensioni esistenti da altri. Ciò che è successo è disappunto. La stanza della serie 2000 sul secondo piano sembra un vecchio appartamento, senza tovaglioli da doccia, bagno un po 'ancora vecchio ma funzionale, senza frigorifero e così via. Eravamo preparati per tutto ciò considerando il prezzo e la posizione. A tempo del letto, abbiamo trovato due bug sul letto ma li abbiamo spogliati. È l'atmosfera tropicale, cosa si aspetta! La mattina dopo il colazione, tuttavia, ho trovato un po' di più sul mio letto. Ho tirato fuori una delle mie carte di credito e ho ucciso alcuni. Quando ho tirato fuori la copertina del letto, più apparirono ...... Vedi il bug nel video. Ho chiamato il desk front che ha mandato un personale di servizio in camera per guardarlo. Il personale sembra sorpreso di vedere anche i bug. La signora del desk front era gentile e veloce a agire e ha cambiato la mia stanza in camera in 6000 serie e tutto bene con noi. Ho chiesto di parlare con il loro manager. Una volta, alla fine della pomeriggio, mi avvicinò alla riproduzione di Frondesk che andò in bagno per prendere il manager. Il manager si è presentato in un po’ e si è scusato leggermente, e ha cominciato a spingere indietro dicendo che il tempo tropicale è normale, i bug sono normali, e molti altri.Gli ho detto che la stanza è infestata troppo male e ha bisogno di una pulizia disastrosa per eliminare l’infestazione. Il manager poi ha continuato a spiegare la stessa cosa. Mi sento deluso. Per questo hotel, non lo consiglio finché non fanno un buon lavoro. O se ci piace, tuttavia, non esattamente, assicuratevi di chiedere la domanda giusta per evitare una stanza simile. Buona fortuna la prossima volta.

Nice hotel and rooms very comfortable. The only issue is the huge traffic jam every morning to get out of the area.
