I want to live at this hotel. From the moment we arrived, it was simply magical. Everything about this place is visually stunning. It has so much to do, so much to see, it is so fun. I felt like I stepped into an old Hollywood movie. My husband and I were obsessed. We had a king room with a balcony overlooking the pool, and it was just so amazing. We are already planning a return trip, we are obsessed. Could not recommend this hotel more!

Went with my husband for my birthday and had the most amazing experience. The hotel was decorated so beautifully for Christmas and everything was perfect. The lobby bar in addition to the Gutter bar were both so fun, but my favorite was the live music at Lou Lou’s. The most amazing staff I have ever encountered in my travels - everyone was so kind and helpful. My weekend trip was made so special because of The Lafayette. Highly recommend!

There is a lot that is fantastic about this hotel. The designers (all of them - graphic, interiors, landscape etc) have done an incredible job and thought of every single detail. The hotel is totally unique and we loved the pool, restaurants and bar. Beds are comfortable and the pool balcony room has a great view. The hotel is very popular with locals and the night time scene is hopping. If you are looking for a full service type hotel though, this isn’t the spot. No room service and no full room cleaning unless you stay 4 nights or more. Also, it is seriously loud at night. We had to use earplugs and put on a white noise app at almost full volume to fall asleep. My husband is an artist and felt the uniqueness of the hotel made it really special and worth the price ($500/night). If you appreciate great design and don’t mind noise and no room cleaning, you will like it here.

This hotel is far from ordinary. Amazing pool area and service all around. Two bars to chose from and a bowling alley?! The 24 hour diner came in clutch for some late night food, and it was SOO good (get the chicken schnitzel). The rooms were funky but cool. Full bar setup with some instructions on how to make your own cocktails. Great hospitality and vibes all around!

In one night you can do everything. Dining exquisite, cocktails fabulous. There could be live music in the ball room. The gutter is a bar within that has a bowling alley, pool tables foosball-total play ground. IF you stay make sure you get a pool side room, why not. Weekends are super busy with lots of people so if you are looking for a party scene this is it. When your night is over the Beginners diner is open all night. This is an old hotel with rich history-might have an old smell to rooms but still worth it. Bar set up in room is amazing-every detail in this place is spot on. WOW
