Captain's Villas

Everything was great, Bar food was very good. Rooms were clean, the place is a little walk down to the beach... bakery and a supermarket are nearby. The place is family run and they are very friendly...Nikos was on hand to help with anything.... overall...for the price, would book again.

Visited as a couple in September 2024 and greeted on arrival by Peter, Nikos' son. Rooms a decent size and comfortable and tidy. Position of studios relative to bars, restuarants and sea in Katelios about 10 minutes walk maximum to all. A bit disappointed in house keeping as bins on one occasion left for 3 days before emptying, which is not too good given the toilet paper stuation in Greece. Drinks and food a fair price with exception of soda water at €4, a bit steep in my opinion. However there was no sun bed battles and round the pool was great with plenty beds and brollies and we would definitely return.

Well I cannot say anything different to the other reviews really, but I'll try. We arrived after a delay hot and tired. We were met by Nicos and his son "Peter". They were so friendly and remained that way. We were shown to our room no 9, which was clean spacious and we were very pleased, The room had a lovely balcony, good bed and pillows to die for. It had plenty of cutlery,plates etc. Lots of storage and Hangers in the wardrobes .We only used toaster and kettle tho. We were staying in the white block so can only give reviews on this but others staying in the old block were suitably impressed. Bathroom was fine and shower, which I always have an opinion on was ok. Brilliant in the morning but a bit weak in evening. The food was great, big portions and tasty, The hotel is in a great position, 2min from supermarket and three from from fabulous restaurants. Would we return, yes defo but not in the school holidays, there was not enough room for multiple lilos and kids. oops. I know but we have been to Kefalonia at this time and never had so many in the pool. We will return to these wonderful apartments again, we had a brilliant time and met some great people. loved the cockerel and of course the turkey who greeted us every morning. Loved it, thank you to Nicos and Peter you are lovely.

Stayed here as our usual stay at the Efrosini was already fully booked. Nice location as supermarket is very close and only a short walk to the beachfront. Pool is lovely and very quiet. Apartments are tired and need some work… showers falling off, ants EVERYWHERE, toilet flush broke whilst we were there. Would not return as we’ve stayed in better for less money.

We have been going there for over 20 years its family run they are friendly the rooms are basic but clean and tidy and we went twice this year and going again next year

Basic appartments, hidden cost of £100 euros for air con, no running water for two nights, so couldn't shower or flush the toilet. Didnt effect other neighbouring hotels. Host seemed to avoid the problem with no Comms whatsoever. Pool area was nice.
