Hotel in zona SEDUR - SUCOM -ÁRIA PUBLICA -INVADIDA EM PROCESSO DE DEMOLIÇÃO, Salvador

The Novotel Salvador Hangar Aeroporto best features are its location near the airport, newer facilities than most properties in Salvador, and it operates under the ACCOR hotel brand. Despite these advantages, I must report a unacceptable experience during my stay December 28th to 31st 2022 followed by deplorable managerial customer service in response to verified and documented service failures. I have reported these issues to my travel agency, my corporate travel unit, and my personal travel networks. As I discovered this property using Trip Advisor, I have decided to report this matter for the benefit of my fellow readers. I do not recommend this property for business travelers nor cultural tourism travelers (especially not those seeking afro-Brazilian tourism or those welcoming to the African diaspora). I share some reasons herein: • Unreliable Service: During my stay I experienced one major internet outage over six business hours, as well as minor room outages (less than 30 minutes) on each day of my stay. This hotel was advertised as catering to business travelers, but the hotel provided no updates when internet would be restored despite repeated requests. I did not receive any support to manage the disruption to my teleworking, and personnel were unable/unwilling to facilitate solutions (At one point, I was recommended to use the free internet of one of the shopping malls. Imagine carrying expensive computer equipment to what my taxi driver warned was a “high crime” area). Sadly, the ability of the reception staff to identify solutions was more unreliable than the internet service. • Poor Room Quality: This hotel advertises rooms of high standards of quality, and I am sure many receive good rooms. However, I received a room that was both substandard quality (bathroom sidings and interior furniture water damaged, door malfunction, refrigerator malfunction) and pollutted by the buildings HVAC exhaust being poorly designed, allowing exhaust to flow against rooms on the lower floor (high noise pollution noticeable when sleeping). I believe most guests do not have this experience, as the issue likely affects few rooms on the lower floors. However, when choosing this property, one must ask the question, how does the receptionist decide who receives these rooms which experience high dust inflow and high noise pollution (I have videos and photos available upon request). Why are some customers placed in quality rooms, and others assigned to substandard rooms (noting the hotel has standard room types based on bed requirements)? Why did this hotel property assume that one of their few afro-descendent customers would accept the worst room in the property? • Deplorable Managerial Level Customer Service: Upon checkout, a customer service representative noted my dissatisfaction with my hotel experience, and asked if I would be willing to receive inquires from hotel management the next business day. Frequento o hotel Stella Maris desde 2017 e tenho algumas considerações a fazer: Pontos positivos: 1) pagamento das despesas realizados no dia da despesa evita filas no check out; 2) A música na piscina melhorou bastante; 3) Recreação continua muito boa; 4) Café da manhã continua bom. Pontos negativos: 1) Água da piscina muito suja; 2) Não possui canais infantil na TV, há somente TV aberta. Pra quem tem filho criança essa ausência é muito ruim; 3) Wifi no quarto é péssimo. Não funciona. 4) Apartamento bastante ”usado”, merece manutenção. Grato

Il prezzo pagato è eccezionale. La posizione è sicura, a 5 metri dalla spiaggia (circa quanto vicino un hotel può raggiungere) e a pochi minuti a piedi dai supermercati, dai ristoranti e da altre strutture. Il colazione come sempre è il caso con gli hotel Rede Andrade è vario e grande. Questa filiale dell'hotel è molto più bello di altri due che ho soggiornato in Salvador con una comoda zona di lobby e fuori da un giardino. Anche se la mia camera era mal rappresentata come ”un appartamento” quando è una stanza normale, mi piaceva, visto il prezzo basso pagato. Ho una vista sul mare e la camera conteneva le caratteristiche necessarie, cioè frigorifero, TV, doccia calda, acc e asciugamani/saponi. Il WiFi era terribile, ma senza segnale in tutta la stanza. Oltre a quest'ultima, tutto era grande come il personale.

The Fasano is located next to the Pelourinho, the UNESCO World Heritage Site. This means you can walk to the main sights easily. Old building, nicely renovated, now in modern style. Rooms tend to be on the small side, but are nice and have all you need. Nice rooftop pool with small bar, great views. Breakfast is very good, good choice and good quality. Lunch is ok, but nothing special. Most staff members are very friendly, they try their best to accommodate your needs. Yes there are some hiccups in the service, things got forgotten etc, but as they are very friendly you can live with it. Probably one of the better Fasanos, compared to others, here the staff pay more attention to details and are more client focused. I can recommend this hotel for a nice stay in Salvador, probably the best option in town. I would like to thank Janine, Maria and all other staff members who did their best to make my stay a very nice one.

Tutto è stato fantastico! Il personale è la stella di questo hotel e un rinfresco in tutta la nostra esperienza.Abbiamo una vista sul mare e la vista è davvero stupenda! Sorridi alla signora Linda, la persona che fa il nostro meraviglioso succo di frutta ogni mattina. È FANTASTIC. È il miglior esempio di un baiano con tutte le sue buone vibrazioni e sorrisi mattinali.

L'albergo è meraviglioso! Posizione fantastica, vicino a numerosi ristoranti e bar. La colazione è eccellente, offre un'ampia varietà di prodotti, pane, torte, frutta, opzioni regionali come couscous, platani, torta di manioca, torta di tapioca, crema di cocco, mio ​​​​Dio, è tutto delizioso. Anche per quanto riguarda la camera, ci è piaciuta molto, letto e doccia fantastici! Lo consiglio e abbiamo già voglia di tornarci

Dalle mie prenotazioni, fino al checkout, ho avuto un'ottima esperienza... Quando sono arrivati all'hotel alle receptioniste della sera, mi hanno ascoltato FOF tutte le informazioni precise, con buona attenzione e educazione. Camera confortevole, aria condizionata e vista sul mare!  Caffè mattina molto ampio, con tutto fresco e pulito!  Senza dubbio ritornerò più volte!!!

Se si cerca un hotel con tutti i comfort non troppo lontano dal centro questo hotel è la soluzione ideale. La struttura è un po vecchiotta e i bagni andrebbero rimodernati ma gli spazi comuni sono ampli e confortevoli. Noi siamo andati ad agosto e la piscina era un po freddina ma farsi il bagno con vista sull'oceano è una sensazione bellissima. La nostra stanza familiare era grandissima, con letto king e vista mare, eravamo d'angolo quindi avevamo una finestra grande e un'altra finestra più piccola con una vista mozzafiato. Nella hall c'è un negozio per le emergenze che è stato la nostra salvezza. La colazione è ottima e abbondante e ogni giorno ci sono succhi e piatti nuovi. Dovrebbero migliorare il servizio per preparare la tapioca... le file sono lunghissime...basterebbe avere di quei segnaposto che suonano quando è pronto in modo da evitare di passare mezz'ora in fila. Tornerei sicuramente.

Inizialmente l'accesso veicolare alla reception è piuttosto complicato, non c'è spazio per la circolazione delle auto, sarebbe uno spazio per salire e scendere semplicemente, e non c'è nemmeno un addetto per le informazioni. Far pagare il parcheggio in uno spazio di proprietà dell'hotel per gli ospiti è irrispettoso. Colazione molto buona, molte opzioni e tutto era molto gustoso. Le camere lasciano molto a desiderare, mobili vecchi, bagno che perde, asciugamani che costano 10 reais, che hanno il coraggio di dire che cambiano solo ogni due giorni e un cambio o un asciugamano extra costa 20 reais. La piscina intorno alle 10 era ancora sporca.
