Pros: * spacious clean room * good breakfast opening at 6:30am sharp (doors are locked before then), with lactose-free milk and gluten-free options * okay pool area (no greenery though) Cons: * the A/C was weak, but after running it for one day the room was sufficiently cool (you do need a card in the slot during that day...) * no "Do not disturb" sign to hang onto the doorknob * the desk in the room was small and very annoying for laptop work (round, glass) * the chairs in the room were not comfortable at all * out of all the staff, only one front desk person spoke English * no laundry facilities * no business room * old slow elevator * window didn't insulate from the street noise that well, but I used 33 dB NRR earplugs to block the noise that came through; there are also many rooms that don't face the street * the front gate didn't open automatically with my key; had to wait for staff to open it; other times it was left open

Muy buena atención y muy cómodo, inmejorable ubicación, la pileta muy limpia y cuidada. El desayuno muy completo. Solo le bajé un punto a las instalaciones, si bien el hotel no es nuevo está muy bien cuidado aunque podrían mejorar. Por ejemplo los ascensores son dos pequeños, estando fuera de temporada estaban bastante llenos. El personal impecable atención. Volveremos!

Der Service war gut. Das Frühstück war nichts besonderes. Die Lage vom Hotel ist sehr gut. Die Zimmerausstattung ist normal.

Ottimo soggiorno. L'hotel si affaccia effettivamente sulla spiaggia. Il posto di fronte all'hotel è molto affollato di macchine, persone e così via... in quanto è vicino all'ingresso dello Yacht Club di Salvador e dispone anche di un parcheggio pubblico. La spiaggia di fronte è sempre molto affollata. Nota frequenza spiaggia 05/10. Piscina fantastica ma non riscaldata. Il servizio in piscina quasi non esiste. Devi continuare a chiamare i camerieri o andare al bancone per chiedere. Ho soggiornato nell'appartamento fronte mare ed è stato ristrutturato. Colazione molto buona. Sono arrivato il 24/12 e ho pagato un extra per la cena di Natale per la mia famiglia, niente di straordinario e non c'era musica in sottofondo. Il personale dell'hotel è stato molto disponibile e ha fatto quello che ci si aspettava. Un solo ascensore per più di 150 appartamenti, ma funziona.

Great customer service at the front desk and at the housekeeping The hotel is very convenient and right on the Barra beach next to the lighthouse. Busy during the weekend right at the heart of the activities It is a bit dated and needs some repair and maintenance to make it prettier but everything works The restaurant food is good. There were things u can order separately from the buffet which is local dishes. Could have been told about it. Found out on the last day One thing I would warn is the tour agent in the hotel. She will tell you it is an English tour. And yes the tour guide does speak English but do not provide all the details that he provided to the Portuguese speakers. Abit disappointed by that There is a money exchanger across the road next to the ice cream shop. It is hidden behind a glass wall which is for safety. Better rates there for dollars Generally love the hotel and the location. And the staff are great and the palce is clean. The pool is also a great touch

Good hotel with a great view and access to Barra beach and many restaurants serving local food. Very good breakfast and friendly staff.

I really enjoyed my stay , the property is beautiful. Poolside, drinks and food was outstanding...i was happy there and appreciated EVERYTHING!!

Great location, friendly staff, comfortable stay. This is my go to hotel whenever I come to Salvador. Will be back.
