Hotel con colazione inclusa a Salmon Arm

La stanza dell'hotel e le foto della pagina di prenotazione di Trip.com non sono coerenti. Le foto hanno un letto da divano, e non sono in realtà tardi al negozio e parteno presto dopo la mattina, quindi l'atteggiamento del personale di servizio dell'hotel è molto buono, soprattutto una vecchia signora del ristorante è davvero carino! Fate tutti sentire bene il giorno!Parcheggio conveniente e gratuito

When I checked in a 'security' deposit was taken from my credit card without my knowledge or my approval. I only found out because my bank always sends me a SMS message when my card is used. It's a very long time since I stayed in a hotel which requires a deposit. I checked out last week and the deposit has now been returned. We stayed in the block behind the main building. It was a motel style room with car parking outside. The room was clean and everything worked. The beds were comfortable and there wasn't much noise from the road. Breakfast was basic, with little choice. It felt like everything was done to keep the cost down. Hilltop Inn is a cheap hotel. You get what you pay for. I will probably dig a little deeper next time I stay in Salmon Arm and stay across the road at the Fairfield.

Salmon Arm is located on the Trans-Canada Highway midway between Calgary and Vancouver on the shores of Shuswap Lake System. It is both a summer and winter recreation area. Pet-Friendly Fees may apply. Summer recreation activities include water sports house boating river rafting and championship golf courses. Winter recreation activities include snowmobiling ice fishing and cross-country skiing.Sunwave Centre is located within 5 minutes of the hotel.

We booked rooms on points with the Marriott Bonvoy program. The points were taken out at booking. Manager couldn't work with Bonvoy, so he charged us a very high rate for one room, $280, before trying to work it out with Marriott and us. We explained over multiple calls, would not change the fraudulent charges to the card. Very bad service, never again.

We requested housekeeping for the 2 days that we stayed (3nights) - and we just couldn’t get our beds made at all. On the information sheet it clearly states that housekeeping will be done every day. When i emailed bill Steacy the GM he advised: it is standard operating procedures with the current staffing levels that we do not perform full cleans on guest rooms on multiple night stays other than a towel refresh and change of garbage if needed. So even though I had been requesting beds to be made Everyday they won’t do it. Might as well air BNB it or stay at the nearby Fairfield Inns Marriott. We were so dusty and dirty and tired every day after our ball tournaments ,we just wanted clean made up beds. The front desk lady Roberta was rude and not helpful at all. I don’t think we were requesting too much after spending over $225 a night for a room - just to have our beds made.

Upon check-in I showed the clerk my phone with a less price than I had. The clerk said to me “we don’t take those prices”. He then gave me a key to the room (I had requested a first floor room as my wife is stage 4 cancer). He gave me cards for 119 I believe. I asked the clerk if he needed my vehicle info and my signature for the room. He said “we don’t have paper”. I told him I need a receipt at check-out. I did not receive an answer. I went to the car to get our luggage and wife and went to the room we were assigned, I opened the door and walked in, the room was occupied. I left and my wife and I went to the desk and informed the clerk that the room he gave us is being used by someone else. No apology was give. The clerk gave me keys to 214 I believe. I asked if there was a first floor room and was told no. I helped my wife up stairs as she has cancer. We got to our assigned room and the door was open. There wasn’t anyone in the room but the room wasn’t very clean, the toilet seat didn’t match the toilet, the plug in the sink is broken off and no face cloths. I tried calling the desk 3 times and nobody answered. The next morning my wife and I went to have the breakfast included. Note: there was another woman there with a small child about 3 or 4 years old. The only thing they had for breakfast (it was more than an hour before breakfast was finished) was mini muffins, 3 yogurt, 3 apples, bread and black coffee. No butter for toast, no milk or whitener for coffee, no juice. The other woman and child, her husband came in with a younger child and the only thing for the little children to drink was black coffee and dry muffins and toast. I went to the front desk to check-out and asked for a receipt, I was told they can’t print one off. I told them I needed a receipt. I was told they can’t give me one. I then told them our experience at the hotel and I would like to have a phone call from the manager and was told I would receive the call. That was in the morning of September 18 it is now September 26, 2024 and we are still waiting for the call. I guess I shouldn’t hold my breath. My wife and I checked-in on September 17 and checked-out on September 18, 2024. I have stayed at many hotels in North America including Hawaii (100’s of room nights) and I have to say this hotel has to be in the top 5 worst hotels I have stayed in.

Adiacente all'autostrada Trans Canada, così tornare sulla nostra autostrada da Banff a Vancouver è molto conveniente. Salmon Arm è circa mezzo viaggio a Vancouver o Banff e questo rende il motel un perfetto arresto di notte. La camera da letto è separata da un muro dalla tavola da pranzo, dal frigo e dal caffè. La camera da letto è molto pulita e si può parcheggiare davanti alla propria camera. Il check-in e il check-out non hanno voluto molto tempo. I proprietari sono molto amichevoli.
