Hôtel L' Estelle en Camargue

What can I say, after many years, we returned to stay at L’Estelle and we will not leave it so long again. Its a little piece of paradise in the Camargue. Situated by the water with an infinity swimming pool, the location is simply stunning. The rooms are large and cool and beautiful to stay in. The staff are on hand all day for drinks or snacks or ice creams by the pool. The restaurant for dinner is just a pleasure. Thankyou all so much for making our time with you so very special…we were so sorry when we had to leave

14 photographers stayed here for approximately ten days. Our rooms were bright and very comfortable. King-sized bed, couch, very large bathroom (shower, tub, sink), and a separate toilet room. My room (107) had a sliding glass door leading to a screened-in porch with two chairs and a table. There was an additional deck with two lounges outside the porch facing a natural waterway and nature sanctuary. A terrific hotel wih a very relaxed vibe. Breakfast was included and had a variety of healthy foods. Special requests were accommodated. Mylene V ran the front desk like a pro. She was attentive and always accommodating. Truthfully, all the staff went out of their way to make our entire party feel like family. Whatever they could do to make your stay most enjoyable is what they did. Remarkable how hospitable they were. We ate at the hotel's restaurant several times besides breakfast, mostly for dinner, and occasionally for lunch. The service and wine availability were 5-star....the food was 4+. The owner Phil had a distinct presence and always cheerful greeting. He was most gracious in welcoming us and thanking us for staying at his hotel. I would actually look forward to returning to the area and most definitely make this hotel my home.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Hotel L’Estelle and it proved to be the perfect gateway to experience the best of the Camargue. The staff are wonderful and they do an incredible job. The staff were so friendly and prepared to go the extra mile for us during our stay. The hotel reminds me of a game reserve hotel so don’t expect the Ritz, expect something in keeping with the spirit of the Camargue. Breakfast was a good balance of French tradition and extras. The restaurant was excellent with a passionate chef who cares about what comes out of the kitchen each and every evening. We were quite astonished at the limited number of British tourists when there is so much to enjoy in the area. The wildlife is incredible and they have done so much to rewind the region. Arles is a beautiful historic city and gateway to the Camargue. We can’t wait to discover the area in the Autumn when we understand the sun still shines on an Autumnal landscape.

Einen romantischeren Ort in den Marais der Camargue lässt sich wohl kaum finden! Tolle Lage, Zimmer am Wasser, in der Nähe der Stadt und dem Strand! Die Küche ist hervorragend und der Service vortrefflich! Wir waren nun bereits zum zweiten Mal hier, allerdings war das erste Mal schon eine Weile her. Im Bad hätten wir uns mehr Aufmerksamkeit in Bezug auf die Pflege gewünscht. Aber das Klima ist in dieser Hinsicht bestimmt eine Herausforderung. Aber: wir kommen gerne wieder!

Grand amateur de lieux et de restaurants exceptionnels, ceci est mon tout premier avis sur Tripadvisor. Un superbe cadre avec un accueil formidable. Le personnel est gentil et attentionné. Le restaurant est tout simplement divin avec des plats de toute beauté et délicieux.

Wir durften uns bereits das zweite Mal in diesem Jahr von Philipp Genner und seinem Team so richtig verwöhnen lassen. Kulinarisch aus der Küche mit perfekt abgestimmten exzellenten Weinen, sowie von der Gastfreundlichkeit des gesamten Teams mit viel Herz bewegt sich das L’Estelle auf höchstem Niveau. Wir haben die Tage zwischen Weihnachten und Neujahr sehr genossen. Die musikalischen Konzerte am Abend mit einzigartigen Musikern aus der ganzen Welt beweist die Attraktivität des L’Estelle und die Leidenschaft zur Musik von Philipp ;-) Aus unserem liebevoll eingerichteten, gepflegten und sauberen Zimmer mit einzigartigem Ausblick auf die Umgebung der Anlage konnten wir wundervolle Sonnenauf- und untergänge geniessen. Tagsüber ein Spaziergang am unendlichen Sandstrand, ein Ausritt mit den weissen Pferden, faszinierende Flamingos beobachten oder die Magie von Saintes-Maries-de-la-Mer geniessen - das L’Estelle bietet einen perfekten Ausgangspunkt für viele Ausflüge und Sehenswürdigkeiten in der Camargue. Wenn es einen Ort auf dieser Welt gibt der den Namen «Oase» verdient, dann gehört L’Estelle definitiv dazu. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder – merci beaucoup pour cette expérience et à bientôt.
