Perfect location to enjoy St. Paul and the close concert venues. Valet and check-in service was superb. Room was spacious and clean, and we loved the historical vibe. The bar has fantastic drinks, food and service. Highly recommend!

Always a great stay. I love feeling like I have stepped back in time when I walk through the doors. The rooms are always clean. The service is great whenever you need something. The location to the x is so convenient.

Beautiful, historic property with old world charm and top notch service and amenities. We dined at the restaurant before our concert at the Ordway Center across the street, the food and service were exceptional.

Everything was wonderful. I think my only complaint is that I don't love that there is zero parking outside of valet, but I understand it's downtown and catering to clientele who use valet regularly.

Celebrating hockey day Minnesota and able to get into my room early and no additional fees and the valet parking is a great option

The hotel was older. I understand it's a historic hotel, but the bathrooms and furniture are very outdated. No walk-in shower, old fixture in the tub, etc.
The doorman is very nice and helpful. The restaurant was good.
A few members of the room service staff could definitely use some additional training.
I requested extra towels and when the housekeeper cleaned my room, she took the extra towels out. When I asked for another set once I realized what she had done, the set that was brought up smelled like urine.
There were a couple of issues with charges that didn't get addressed, even after discussing it and the front desk staff assuring us they would take care of it. Now we have to call the hotel again to address it.

This is hard to review. I can't say the issues I had were directly the hotel's fault. We drove a van to the property and their parking garage wasn't tall enough to park our van. It turns out that other garages had the same issue (my van is 7' tall). So larger vehicles may have a problem with parking. In the summer, it's probably not a big deal, but in the winter, it was a bit of a pain to walk 3 blocks twice a day to pay for surface parking.
Property is close to Xcel Center, which was why we were in town.
Other than that, the hotel is fine, and I would recommend it to anyone who doesn't drive a tall vehicle.
