La location è sempre speciale, ma le patatine fritte del kiosk sono diventate terribili e il servizio lentissimo, davvero non all’altezza del costo. Qualcuno ha anche addirittura restituito le patatine per quanto erano pessime, solo aria e olio fritto.

Sono stata con il mio ragazzo a pranzo in questo ristorante. Prezzi alti ma forse nella norma a St. Moritz, il mio ragazzo ordina un piatto di fish and chips contenuto nel menu bambini (prezzo 14€), al momento di pagare il piatto è stato messo a ben 52€. Abbiamo chiesto spiegazione e ci è stato detto che il piatto era nel menu bambini e di conseguenza non potevamo ordinarlo. I furbi però al momento dell’ordine (peraltro un cameriere italiano) non hanno detto nulla e soprattutto sul menu non è indicato nessun vincolo di conseguenza pensavamo fossero solo piatto più semplici fatti apposta per i bambini, ma ordinabili da tutti visto che nessuno ci aveva avvisato. Esperienza tremenda, vogliono fare i furbi imbrogliando il cliente, facendo pagare un piatto ben 4 volte tanto rispetto quello che era scritto sul menu, tanto ormai era già stato mangiato e non potevamo fare altrimenti che pagare. Menomale che siamo a St.Moritz e la cura e cortesia per il cliente dovrebbero essere al primo posto visto. Che imparassero cosa vuol dire fare i ristoratori senza imbrogliare le persone, che si guadagna lo stesso!

It was disappointing to see that the restaurant was already closed on 3 October 2022 and that only the food trailer was open. I am expecting more from a premium place like St. Moritz. The menu at the food trailer wasn't really great. 1/2 chicken with french fries, fried tofu, sandwiches etc. isn't really what most of the people are expecting. But they charged CHF 7 for a bottle of Möhl cider. Additionally, there was no playground for the kids although this is shown on the webpage of the restaurant. The good thing is that there are sufficient picnic spots with fireplaces nearby.

The restaurant has new operators and a new concept since this season. A menu is now only available on the upper floor (formerly the club terrace). On the first floor, only an afternoon tea-style étagère with sweet and salty snacks is offered at a price of around CHF 40. During our spontaneous midday visit in January outside the high season, all tables on the upper floor were reserved. We had only the choice between an étagère or looking for another restaurant. We opted for the latter and had an excellent meal at Chesa al Parc at the Kulm Hotel in St.Moritz instead. The concept of Afternoon Tea fits a grand hotel, but completely misses the mark for a rustic restaurant. Too bad about the beautiful location. Hopefully this strange concept will be eliminated soon. Only then will we visit the restaurant again.

Legendäres Wochenende mit grosser Geburtstagsfeier am Samstag. Sehr motiviertes und engagiertes Team (von der Konzeption bis zur Umsetzung), hervorragende Küche in wunderschöner Location - hätte nicht besser sein können! Tolle Location, neues Management. Neu: wohltuend freundlicher Service, Ahmad vor allem ist unglaublich aufmerksam und zuvorkommend. Essen ist gut, Vegi / Vital-Platte frisch und lecker. Ein perfekter Ort zum Entspannen nach einer langen Wanderung.

Uns wurde zu dritt ein Tisch zugewiesen und sofort die Mittagskarte gegeben. Soweit so gut. Und dann war Schluss. Niemand fühlte sich zuständig, Tische wurden nebenan geputzt, umständlich einkassiert, aber niemand wollte eine Bestellung trotz mehrmaligem freundlichen Anrufen aufnehmen. Nach knapp 30‘ verliessen wir das Lokal wieder, ohne dass jemand uns verabschieden wollte

Meine Frau und ich - seit Jahren regelmässige Besucher des Restaurants - freuten uns am 3. August 2023 um 13.15, als wir ankamen, auf ein feines Mittagessen. Es waren noch 7 oder 8 Tische frei, einige davon nicht aufgedeckt. Während 10 Minuten interessierte sich niemand vom Personal, das auffallend oft mit leeren Händen ein- und ausging, für uns. Dann kam ein Herr im weissen Hemd und fragte, ob wir reserviert hätten, was wir verneinten. Seine Antwort: "Warten Sie einen Moment." Wir warteten weitere fünf Minuten. Dann erschien ein Mitarbeiter, der die Unlust, zu arbeiten, offen zur Schau stellte und sagte in barschem Ton "in einer Stunde!" Wir verzichteten - wer will schon um 14.30 Uhr noch ein Dreigang-Menu bestellen? Offenbar läuft das Geschäfts so gut, dass man es nicht mehr nötig hat, langjährige Gäste freundlich und anständig zu behandeln. Wir ziehen die Konsequenzen - schade!

Absolute Frechheit was dort oben geboten wird! Wir wohnen in Pontresina und sind Einheimisch. Wir lieben den Statzersee! Leider ist diese Phänomen wie im Restaurant und Imbiss Statzersee überall im Engadin zu beobachten. Erstens. Die Preise sind eine absolute Frechheit. Zum Beispiel: eine Bratwurst mit Brot für zwölf Franken oder Hausgemachter Eistee 50cl für acht Franken. Die Preise sind das eine, noch getrübt wird das Erlebnis durch das inkompetente und unfreundliche Personal. Im Nachhinein sind wir dankbar dass das Personal so unfreundlich war, durch das sind wir direkt wieder umgedreht und haben keinen Franken dort liegen gelassen. Den jeder Franken den man dort lässt ist einer zu viel.
