Hotel con piscina a Saint John

Ho una prenotazione di un ultimo minuto in un torrenziale di sbarco quando il nostro traghetto a Bar Harbor è stato cancellato e siamo finiti a San Giovanni. Incredibile, i letti di questo Holiday Inn Express erano splendidi - fissi, con un eccellente supporto di schiena - meglio di 99% degli altri hotel che abbiamo soggiornato (compresi molti con un rating più elevato). La piscina era pulita e ben mantenuta, e abbastanza lunga da nuotare in serio. Il nostro soggiorno breve e piovoso qui era comodo, e saremmo tornati felicemente (se il sole uscisse).

This hotel is terrible, which is unfortunate because it has so much potential. -The rooms need updating. Terrible layout, dated and worn. -The staff although friendly was not overly helpful when we made a couple of easy requests. They didn’t seem interested in even listening to us and most of the time there were two to three of them standing/sitting around talking to each other at the front desk avoiding acknowledging guests in the area. -The absolute WORST part about this hotel is the insanely bright lights that they have lighting up the exterior of the building pointed right at the windows on the front side of the hotel without proper coverings on the inside to keep it out. There have been mutiple complaints/mentions of this in past reviews with the standard replies from hote management stating that they “strive for excellence” however they obviously don’t take the reviews seriously because the bright lights are still pointing right at the windows! Simple fix but no action taken. Unfortunately this takes away from any positives of the property as a result. Great location and nice pool area but wouldn’t stay here again given other options in the area and hotel managements inability to take this issue seriously and get it fixed.

We stayed one night and that was enough. It provided us a bed and shower. The rooms are as pictured but dated. You could feel the age of the rooms and they need upgrading. It was clean and the bed was fine it was just not a nice space. Biggest issue for us was location, there are no signs and we circled the hotel 3 times trying to figure out how to check in and then you have to leave go up a parking garage and walk forever to get to an elevator walk a lot more to room, very inconvenient with your luggage. (When you are sent your confirmation, information could be shared on how to locate the entry, etc). We wouldn’t stay again as there was no breakfast, parking is not included and there is nothing to draw you in, rooms were not luxury by any means just a room. We were disappointed as we always stay with a Marriott brand hotel and this did not meet the standards we are use to.

La posizione dell'hotel è molto buona. Si può vedere direttamente il porto del mare. Ci sono sentieri di corsa sotto. Ci sono molti studenti che scrivono. Il primo piano è buon colazione, la piscina sotterranea è piccola. Ci sono diversi ristoranti di frutta marina sul lato molto buono 👍 Parcheggio gratuito. La reception è gratuita per il biglietto di parcheggio. Gli attrazioni vicine possono camminare per camminare, e la catena è a 10 minuti di distanza.

La vista della finestra dovrebbe essere considerata molto buona in questa piccola città. Se il tempo è buono al mattino, dovresti comunque vedere l'alba. La stanza è il normale standard Samsung, ma la tenda perde molto seriamente e la luce dall'esterno di notte rende la stanza molto luminosa. La colazione è a buffet e non può essere portata fuori dal ristorante. Considerando la nuova corona, non ho fatto colazione. L'hotel organizza un matrimonio, ad eccezione della reception, non si vedono maschere, ma l'intera città sembra prestare poca attenzione alla prevenzione dell'epidemia. In breve, la stanza in sé è molto buona a questo prezzo e vale la pena soggiornarci.

The facility was perfect for our purposes. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. The internet was very fast. The staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was very good with lots of variety. The location was convenient for our scheduled activities and was easy to access. Thanks for a wonderful stay!
