Travelodge Ryde Isle of Wight

The hotel is new but room is small. Location is good.

The hotel it's good for a night 🌙 sleep

The title covers my opinion of this hotel, I was in a disabled room despite booking a double room (not an issue) The room has a pull down seat to sit during your shower. This had orange moldesq stains on it. The wall had mold markings The under side of the toilet was vile.

It was good clean and the the staff was excellent who help me with the doors with all my sea fishing kit and the room I was in was good clean and excellent and the location where it was in ryde lsle of wight was good and close by the bus route and shopping centre

Reception staff were really friendly and the room was spotlessly clean. I liked that there wasn't a cover on the bed as its getting warmer now. What more could you ask for? I would definitely stay again! It's so conveniently close to everything you need, shops, buses etc.

the first issue is no air conditioning! when its as hot as it is, you need it! issue 2 someone tried to enter my room at 3am, after that I was awake for the day, and when its 3/4/5am you notice every sound as it seems very amplified! Issue 3, the key stopped working so many times, a man told me that it was due to the card being near my phone, but that seems implausible, as the staff carry keys and a phone all the time! Issue 4, all the electric went in the room, and the same rude man basically told me it was my fault for over filling the kettle (which was unused!) Issue 5 - No cleaning wash in the shower cubicle dispenser. Issue 6 - The electric went for a SECOND TIME, but at this point we just stopped caring and left the hotel!

We found the Travelodge clean and well maintained staff on hand and good location for Ryde Town would stay again

I have never felt more unsafe than whilst staying at ride travelodge! Having stayed before, I regret my choice to stay for 3 nights last week! I was bundled in to a tiny room on the second floor and one two consecutive nights I had drunken men hanging out side my room saying their good nights to each other in their drunken monosilabic tones. whilst falling in to my door, this may have only lasted a total of one minute, but it was enough to make me wedge those big heavy chairs under the handle every time I entered the room! I spoke with a staff member who confirmed there are no male workers during the day times, and they agreed that it can be unsafe for woman. I was not expecting this level of honesty from staff, it makes me worry for their safety as well as those staying!

Excellent location for town, beach and transport. Good restaurants nearby. Clean, well maintained and quiet hotel. All furnishings in new condition. Good price. The staff were very helpful. Hope to stay there again in the future. We had a great holiday.
