Royal Tunbridge Wells

The bar was rather expensive, it was just like being in London, but without the sights. The pillows are not great, I woke up with a head ache. One of the lifts was not working. The staff were all very friendly and helpful, especially the cleaners.

Had a fantastic stay here and wanted to flag up the helpful staff, amazing breakfast and the best night's sleep for months. The hotel is a few minutes walk from the town centre, and just as close to the train station and bus stops. The folks at reception couldn't have been more helpful and accommodating. The room was spotlessly clean, warm, and the bed super-comfy. The cooked breakfast was individually cooked when we stayed, and came hot and beautifully presented on the plate. Serving staff were helpful and kind. Well done Tunbridge Wells Premier Inn - we'll be back!!

Stayed at this property for one night for a family funeral in the area. Parking situation is not great at the hotel, had to park in the drop off bay to empty bags out of the car and to check in. We used the automated check in which did not work very well. So we had to wait for around 10 mins for someone to be free to check us in. It seemed to be quite chaotic, phoned ringing, people nowhere to be seen, people hanging around for service. We approached the manager who said he will get someone and then he realised he was better off doing it himself. We were allocated room 411. The room was clean, and was very spacious, one of the biggest premier inn rooms that I have stayed in. The usual was great that you get with a premier inn, clean, comfortable, tv worked well. I did see one person complaining because he was allocated a room that had not been cleaned. Did not have breakfast as we ate out in Royal Tunbridge Wells. Would look elsewhere in the area before deciding to stay here again.

Checkin was fast. The lift and secure doors to my third floor room worked well. The Queen bed was comfortable, complemented by excellent lighting. The desk was a good feature as were the effective blackout curtains but the room lacked a suitcase shelf. Hot water for the excellent walk-in shower arrived quickly. Towels were of a very good size, and fluffy. I did not hear any other guests. Overall, excellent value in an expensive town.

Stayed here for a local wedding. 2 nights was just over £100 which is superb value for a town this size. We bought the brek once which at a tenner for all you want is also good value. Room good quality with good kip despite being on busy road. This gaff is excellently situated for the town centre and The Pantiles area-literally a 5 min stroll. Although there’s no parking on site I parked in a nearby uncontrolled street for free a few mins walk away. Well happy and would definitely stay again if in the area.
