Grande soggiorno in Arctic Light Hotel. La stanza è spaziosa. Il servizio è molto buono. Il colazione è delizioso Ci piace tutto nella luce artica.

Ci sono molti motivi per scegliere questa struttura, a partire dai glass igloo da dove abbiamo ammirato l’aurora, alla posizione. Direttamente dall’hotel infatti partono escursioni in motoslitta e con gli Husky, il che è particolarmente comodo. Tra l’altro le guide sono molto simpatiche e professionali. Il ristorante in stile tradizionale e il personale giovane e gentilissimo. Infine la posizione in mezzo alla foresta sulle sponde di un fiume, rende tutto ancora più perfetto!

Staying in the Santa’s Igloos Arctic Circle was a definitely a bucket list for us. Our igloo was comfortable, cozy and modern. Heated floors, and glass windows were just perfect for chasing the Auroras. Attention to little details were nice! We had an Aurora alert in our room and can send a message the staff through a tablet in our room. Our Igloo had a private outdoor jacuzzi and such a wonderful experience in the snow covered areas with forest view. The location was great, only short walking distance from the magical Santa Claus Village! Very nice and plentiful breakfast served in the main restaurant. Dinner menu including a great choice of Finnish dishes including Elk, Arctic Char and Scampi, all dishes had a nice presentation and were tasty. We had breakfast and 3 course delicious dinner from every day changing menu. There are a lot of activities to do and kids friendly if you’re traveling with the family. Hotel staff is very friendly and they can arrange all the activities for you! Hope to be back next year :)

We stayed 1 night in an Arctic Fox Igloo. It was an amazing experience. The igloo was small but perfectly formed. There was even a private sauna. We had half board and the dinner and breakfast were excellent. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We would recommend.

We are a family of 5 and booked 2 family rooms in this hotel. The rooms were big, compared to another Rovaniemi hotel that we stayed in and the amenities were wonderful. Free use of Sauna, 24hr gym, just located directed opposite the supermarket and most of all, the hotel has a microwave that you can heat up the food brought from the supermarket! What a deal!. Some areas for improvement, it would good if the Sauna can be 24hrs instead of closing at 10pm. If the hotel can provide utensils like spoon and fork it will be even more awesome. Overall our best stay in Rovaniemi for the price point, I think its a steal. Oh BTW, Burger King and McDonald is just opposite and 24hrs too.

Mio marito ed io l'abbiamo usato a dicembre 2022. Si trova a circa 5 minuti a piedi dal supermercato K nel centro della città, e nella direzione opposta rispetto alla zona dove si concentrano i ristoranti. Nonostante fosse la stagione invernale, i marciapiedi erano ben sgombrati dalla neve e, dopo essere sceso dall'autobus davanti al supermercato, sono riuscito a raggiungere a piedi l'hotel anche se dovevo portare con me il bagaglio a mano. Non è abbastanza lontano per prendere un taxi. Ci sono molte case intorno ed è tranquillo. Non l'ho usato, ma sembra che ci sia una sauna. La colazione era deliziosa. Il menu comprendeva pane, prosciutto, formaggio, insalata e yogurt. La camera era pulita, ma non c'era la cassaforte. Nel bagno non c'è una parete divisoria tra la doccia e la toilette, quindi la toilette si bagna quando si fa la doccia. Nel complesso si tratta di un hotel consigliato.

L’hotel si trova sulla collina della città, di conseguenza si trova a circa 10 minuti in macchina dal centro che corrispondo a circa 45 minuti a piedi. La struttura è molto moderna e avendo molte finestre si gode di un’ottima vista. Le camere sono molto belle ma piccoline (dalle foto sembrano più grandi). La colazione è ottima così come il ristorante che gode di ottima vista. Purtroppo durante il soggiorno ho avuto due problemi con la struttura. Il primo riguarda proprio l’arrivo, fatto il check-in ci era stato detto che c’era posto per la cena al ristorante ma una volta arrivati ci è stato detto di dovere aspettare un’ora che non avevano spazio quando la maggior parte dei tavoli erano vuoti. Siamo andati a chiedere in reception ma la ragazza che lavorava ha sbuffato quando le abbiamo chiesto di verificare e non ha collaborato in nessuno modo. Il secondo problema è stato il freddo in camera (il calorifero funzionava male) che è stato però risolto con una stufa portatile.

Si trova in pieno centro a Rovaniemi con la fermata autobus sia per aeroporto che Santa Claus Village proprio di fronte all'ingresso principale. Ci sono a pochi passi diversi ristoranti mc Donald's, Burger King e centri commerciali. La stanza è un pò piccola come il bagno però abbastanza pulita e il wi-fi ha un ottimo segnale in ogni zona. Dispone al 5 piano anche di una sauna divisa tra uomini e donne con spogliatoi e doccia ben curata e pulita. La colazione è buona, l'unica pecca che ci sono pochi dolci.
