Hotel in zona Marconia, Rotterdam

Ci piace la posizione dell'hotel. È situato nel centro di una vecchia città e lungo il canale. Vicino è un giardino commerciale, ma la maggior parte delle negozi sono stati chiusi a causa della vacanza pubblica. L'hotel è pulito e il deco è moderno all'interno con un aspetto tradizionale. La colazione è eccellente e il personale è così utile e amichevole. Ci sono parcheggio davanti all'hotel ma spazio limitato.

Basic 3 star hotel in a quieter street just off busy bustling Nieuwe Binnenweg with its plethora of bars and restaurants. Super easy to walk (20 mins) from Rotterdam Centraal, or jump on Tram 4 (to Heemraadsplein) with a stop a mere 2 mins around the corner to the hotel plus metro stop Dijkzigt further south. But once I got my bearings, and the weather fine and sunny, I walked everywhere, and was in Museumpark within 10 mins and also historical old Delfshaven in a city of mainly modern architecture. Check out the refurbished docklands area nr Erasmusbrug, quite stunning, and some 20-30 mins on foot. Invest in a RET day-ticket of unlimited travel through Rotterdam – day or night – by bus, tram, and metro. It becomes valid when you first check in, and costs 9 Euros. An absolute bargain compared to expensive old UK. Centraal station is another design gem, and easy to buy tickets from machines with English-language. I got return tickets for some great daytrips to Den Haag, Delft and Utrecht for a change of pace and scene. My single en-suite room 11 was comVERY compact but had a balcony to sit and enjoy the warm June evenings outside. On the first floor with very steep stairs, and quite noisy at times with other guests coming and going and banging doors. When i first checked in, there was a distinct smell of stale smoke (the hotel is non-smoking) but could have been from a previous smoker on the balcony. Hence, popped to a nearby Aldi to buy a room freshener. Great working shower in the wet room, plenty of towels. Clothes storage was very minimal - just a rail with 5-6 hangers. No drawers, just a writing desk. Lots of sockets to charge your appliances. A handy kettle with some tea/coffee pods after a long day of sightseeing. Breakfast was lovely, with tables and chairs by the reception and onto small garden. Usual cereals, yoghurt, fresh fruit, croissants, toast, and hot breakfast of bacon and scrambled eggs. Nice choice of teas, plus coffee from a self-service machine. I also rented a bike from reception for some three hours for 10 Euros. All in all, ”diolch yn fawr iawn” & ”Bedankt” to the hotel's staff.

Un'altra notte in questo hotel durante un weekend a Rotterdam. Quando arrivate, dovrete aspettare per check-in. Due membri del personale si sono incontrati insieme, e questo sembrava più importante, guardando regolarmente la fila sempre più lunga, ma non hanno avuto alcuna azione, né hanno ricevuto alcuna spiegazione che aspettavamo. La stanza era arrivata con un vase sporco davanti alla porta (cappe e 5 forchette). La stanza non era vuota dopo gli ospiti precedenti, sperare che il resto sia stato pulito.. Disposizioni in camera sono buone, niente da notare. Non si è fatto uso delle strutture per la colazione, ma i bambini hanno provato la piscina, il bordo blu e l'acqua erano inquinati. Al nostro partenza il giorno dopo, il vase sporco era ancora davanti alla porta e il corridoio era pieno di tutti i nuovi ricevimenti di servizio sporco raccolti (di cena e colazione). In breve, un ottimo hotel per un soggiorno, ma sembra affrontare un gran deficit di personale che purtroppo rende l'intera esperienza un po' meno. Per questo si sente un hotel di diametro 3-sterren. Purtroppo!

Great stay - my first time staying in a hostel and I really enjoyed the experience. Everything is very modern and convenient. The location is great and walking distance from lots of tourist attractions and yummy food spots. The hostel is situated in a very vibrant community area, so it can get quite noisy but once you’re inside your hub you don’t hear anything! The hubs themselves are cute and the bed is super spacious - you get the option of a bottom or top hub, I recommend a top hub if you want to feel slightly more comfortable. The hubs have Bluetooth speakers, an app to control lighting and to speak to the host for any issues. My hub was clean but not as clean as I thought it would be, there were some marks on the side, random hairs and the air-con vent was very very dusty. Apart from that, everything else was perfect. You have a wristband that allows you to charge things to your hub, lock up your belongings and open your hub door which I thought was very handy! I really enjoyed my stay and it was a great first hostel experience, would definitely stay with CityHub again as it was a bargain!

A côté de l'aéroport, on n'entend pas du tout les avions, à proximité du bus pour se rendre dans le centre. Chambre propre, salle de bain aussi mais pas de sèche cheveux. Comptez 10€ pour le petit déjeuner pas trop mal sauf quand on attend aux heures de pointe que les paniers de pain, confiture soient remplis (un peu d'organisation ne serait pas plus mal)

Sono diventato un cliente in un grande hotel da anni... sono venuto in fondo al pavimento... personale di alto livello... molto gentile da casalinga a manager... tutti i migliori persone.

My experience in this hotel was really nice. It's located near the city center and the metro station and you can practically have everything you need (supermarkets, shops, food) within a few minutes on foot. All the stuff is really kind and helpful for anything it may occur during your stay in the hotel. Breakfast has not a big variety of drinks and food but it's still really good. My only complaint about this hotel is that there is no fridge in the room, which you really going to need if you are staying for more than 5 days. All in all, I really enjoyed my stay in days inn and I would definitely visit this hotel again.

Camere moderne, curate nella pulizia e nell'arredo (anche il bagno, con una bellissima doccia walk-in); bella anche la grande vetrata che illumina in maniera ottimale tutto l'ambiente. Un difetto: i punti luce, mal disposti e non troppo luminosi, per cui senza sole rimane sempre qualche parte di camere sfornito della giusta illuminazione. Letto comodo, cuscino un po' meno perchè molto morbido e senza una forma ben definita. Alla reception ci hanno aiutato con ogni richiesta che abbiamo avanzato (tra l'altro parlano un ottimo inglese) e soprattutto ... servono una colazione che, in ogni proposta, è eccezionale: più salata che dolce ma la scelta è ampia e qualitativa. Qui vale la pena fare gli strappi alla regola e regalarsi colazioni energetiche ed internazionali, uscendo un po' dai canoni classici italiani della colazione dolce. La pulizia giornaliera della camera è solo su richiesta (se si soggiorna per più di quattro gg, vengono fatte comunque).
