Unfortunately, we were not lucky to encounter the right reception staff. At our arrival we were not even greeted. We had to attract the attention of the reception staff to be able to check in. Interesting approach, especially if the person is standing right in front of you. 10 minutes after check in I approached the reception for a question and the same woman asked: ”Are you checking out?” The rooms were very cold and there was no heating in the rooms, even with 11 degrees outside. We were told by the reception that the heating turns on automatically when the temperature outside reaches 20 degrees or lower. It did not happen. Breakfast: poor variety. No milk in the coffee machine and when asked staff instead of providing tell you: ”Just use the creamer.” If you ask for a yoghurt you are told they don't have any and you see them taking the same product to selected guests. Also, at our checkout not even a thank you and not even a goodbye. We've been in other Bastion hotels and all were great, with polite and friendly staff, service oriented and a regular breakfast service. And let's not forget the heating. So this hotel is an exception to the rule. Barendrecht is nice but the wrong hotel if you want to feel like you're a little bit respected. I hope this helps next travellers not to get in the same situation.

Great stay - my first time staying in a hostel and I really enjoyed the experience. Everything is very modern and convenient. The location is great and walking distance from lots of tourist attractions and yummy food spots. The hostel is situated in a very vibrant community area, so it can get quite noisy but once you’re inside your hub you don’t hear anything! The hubs themselves are cute and the bed is super spacious - you get the option of a bottom or top hub, I recommend a top hub if you want to feel slightly more comfortable. The hubs have Bluetooth speakers, an app to control lighting and to speak to the host for any issues. My hub was clean but not as clean as I thought it would be, there were some marks on the side, random hairs and the air-con vent was very very dusty. Apart from that, everything else was perfect. You have a wristband that allows you to charge things to your hub, lock up your belongings and open your hub door which I thought was very handy! I really enjoyed my stay and it was a great first hostel experience, would definitely stay with CityHub again as it was a bargain!

Servizi: la stanza è allungata e scomoda da usare. L'illuminazione del bagno è molto scarsa, rendendo impossibile applicare correttamente il trucco. Igiene: molto buona. Ambiente: buona posizione. Servizio: il servizio della reception è buono. Dopo aver prenotato con due mesi di anticipo, il prezzo ha continuato a scendere fino a scendere del 20%.

My 2nd time to book and staying in this hotel. as good as before. Good in location, 5 min. walk to Rotterdam central station. LRT just in front of the station. Good in services, we arrival at early morning 10:00, no room available, the front desk lady can keep the luggage for us, and offer free breakfast to us. Clean and tidy room and public area. Recommend this hotel to you.

Non so se ho lasciato una recensione negativa prima, ma sono stato davvero deluso dal mio soggiorno in hotel non a Rotterdam. Il concetto di hotel è davvero una grande idea, ma sembra davvero bisogno di aggiornamento e meglio mantenuto. Positivi: è un divertente concetto per un hotel, è vicino alla stazione ferroviaria, il letto era comodo. Il cibo era bello (se/quando arrivato). Negativi: l'hotel sembra avere bisogno di un lavoro di pittura e di una serie di apparecchiature spaziali condivise (vetri rotti e vetri su ascensore). Anche se ci sono alcuni membri del personale carino, nessuno sembra sapere cosa sta succedendo, soprattutto per il colazione. Il colazione non viene servito fino a 8 e anche scendere subito, ci sono voluti 40 minuti per una bolla di lusso e un croissant che non è davvero ideale quando si ha già un inizio tardivo per il colazione. Purtroppo, anche io sono stato dato fuori data UHT latte per il mio tè. Un giorno, il mio ordine di colazione è stato dimenticato con solo 4 tavoli occupati. Le camere non sono molto ben pronte, così ho sentito la ricezione e la gente nel corridoio cantare in alto il venerdì sera, e ancora una volta hanno potuto fare una vernice fresca e per aggiornare i marchi e gli accessori. Ho l'impressione che l'hotel sia abbastanza sottoscritto, perché c'era solo un membro del personale disponibile per entrambi i check-out a 7.45 am che è stato un problema quando uno degli ospiti voleva check-out e l'altro cercava di ottenere un colazione precoce In generale, mentre questo posto ha una promessa e foto buone, consiglio di non rimanere qui fino a quando non aggiornano e aggiornano l'hotel e migliorano il personale. Mi dispiace che l'hotel non sia l'hotel, spero che in futuro si possa migliorare.

My experience in this hotel was really nice. It's located near the city center and the metro station and you can practically have everything you need (supermarkets, shops, food) within a few minutes on foot. All the stuff is really kind and helpful for anything it may occur during your stay in the hotel. Breakfast has not a big variety of drinks and food but it's still really good. My only complaint about this hotel is that there is no fridge in the room, which you really going to need if you are staying for more than 5 days. All in all, I really enjoyed my stay in days inn and I would definitely visit this hotel again.

Camere moderne, curate nella pulizia e nell'arredo (anche il bagno, con una bellissima doccia walk-in); bella anche la grande vetrata che illumina in maniera ottimale tutto l'ambiente. Un difetto: i punti luce, mal disposti e non troppo luminosi, per cui senza sole rimane sempre qualche parte di camere sfornito della giusta illuminazione. Letto comodo, cuscino un po' meno perchè molto morbido e senza una forma ben definita. Alla reception ci hanno aiutato con ogni richiesta che abbiamo avanzato (tra l'altro parlano un ottimo inglese) e soprattutto ... servono una colazione che, in ogni proposta, è eccezionale: più salata che dolce ma la scelta è ampia e qualitativa. Qui vale la pena fare gli strappi alla regola e regalarsi colazioni energetiche ed internazionali, uscendo un po' dai canoni classici italiani della colazione dolce. La pulizia giornaliera della camera è solo su richiesta (se si soggiorna per più di quattro gg, vengono fatte comunque).

5 star rating in my opinion definitely a place to stay in delft. The city is beautiful to visit. And food is excellent. I will be returning to stay when I visit my family. The hotel feels luxurious and the best I had on this trip. My only fault was not to stay longer in vander valk hotel delft A4

Great hotel, nice employee, fantastic service, phenomenal experience. I stayed there with a friend for a week, each day we left the hotel at the morning/noon before 11 am. Afterwards we got a cleaned room with new bathtubs and also the kitchen was refilled. The personal was cool. Would like to stay a bit longer
