Hotel in zona De Pier Hoek van Holland, Rotterdam

La stanza era come avevo previsto dalle recensioni e dalle foto che era molto date con tappeti svaniti, ecc ma pulita e una grande stanza familiare con i due bambini letti singoli su un set molto aperto di scale in legno nella stanza (e così forte che io avevo il sonno più giovane, e dormivo in piedi, perché mi preoccupavo che se si svegliasse la notte per il bagno che era in piedi, potesse cadere in piedi).La stanza era molto calda, così le finestre aperte erano un must. Il rumore del bar fuori dalla stanza si è concluso alle 12.30 e i giovani si sono seduti a urlare e a bere in piazza fuori dalla stanza fino alle 3. Mentre so che non è colpa degli hotel, quando ho detto al personale in checkout di questo la loro risposta era ”sì”, non è male. “Ho detto che se avessi saputo che la camera di famiglia guardava intorno a una piazza rumorosa dove le persone si riuniscono a notte non avrei prenotato e probabilmente avrebbero dovuto dirglielo, il personale ha detto grazie. Anche vi è una finestra accanto ai letti dei due bambini nella parte superiore della camera della famiglia che non ha una cortina su di essa, mentre le finestre principali hanno buone cortine, se i vostri figli si svegliano alla luce ci sono molte cose che arrivano in quella stanza nella mamma. Una vergogna come avresti pensato fosse una facile riparazione per l'hotel, quindi perché non l'hanno fatto non lo so. Bella città, hotel datato ma bello, ma solo poco dormire in una notte di venerdì sera dopo un lungo giorno di viaggio dal Regno Unito con bambini.

Goed hotel. Nette kamer. groot bed. Enige nadeel was de badkamer. De deur kan alleen open als je bij de wastafel gaat staan. Anders zit je klem. De wasbak is te ondiep waardoor als je de kraan aanzet het water eroverheen gaat de grond over. Dus vandaar 4 bolletjes. Ontbijt was zeer goed. een lekker eitje gebakken op verzoek dus goed warm. Wij waren er voor een bruiloft elders in Brielle hiervoor was dit hotel perfect.

Il personale alla reception non è affatto all'altezza, non ha la minima capacità di interagire con il cliente, più che risolvere problemi ne crea. Io non parlo correttamente inglese e per nulla olandese, ma parlo correttamente tedesco e francese oltre che ovviamente italiano, viaggio normalmente in tutt'Europa, ebbene qui è stato complicatissimo intendersi con il personale addetto alla reception.

Great stay - my first time staying in a hostel and I really enjoyed the experience. Everything is very modern and convenient. The location is great and walking distance from lots of tourist attractions and yummy food spots. The hostel is situated in a very vibrant community area, so it can get quite noisy but once you’re inside your hub you don’t hear anything! The hubs themselves are cute and the bed is super spacious - you get the option of a bottom or top hub, I recommend a top hub if you want to feel slightly more comfortable. The hubs have Bluetooth speakers, an app to control lighting and to speak to the host for any issues. My hub was clean but not as clean as I thought it would be, there were some marks on the side, random hairs and the air-con vent was very very dusty. Apart from that, everything else was perfect. You have a wristband that allows you to charge things to your hub, lock up your belongings and open your hub door which I thought was very handy! I really enjoyed my stay and it was a great first hostel experience, would definitely stay with CityHub again as it was a bargain!
