My wife and I fully enjoy the Ritz Charlton Langkawi. This was our third stay in two years, and we will return again and again. The well-trained and super-friendly staff throughout the resort are a shining example of a 5-star resort. One of the best breakfast offerings anywhere in the world. One issue that might have been improved was upon arrival. We landed late evening and were escorted to our room - only to realize the air conditioning was non-existent. We were moved to another Deluxe room and apologized for the inconvenience.

Overall Our stay was very pleasant, and the excellent service and friendly staff significantly contributed to the positive experience. Pros: 1. Excellent amenities: The rooftop pool offered stunning sea and sunset views. We especially loved the jacuzzi, which provided good privacy as it was separate from the main pool. The 24-hour gym, with its sea-facing view, was also a highlight. 2. Each room featured a bathtub, adequately sized for one person. 3. The hotel's location was convenient, near Cenang Beach. While not within walking distance, Grab rides were readily available and inexpensive (approximately RM5-6 per trip). Several massage spas were also within a 5-7 minute walk.” 4. The hotel staff, including those at the front desk, porters, and restaurant staff, were consistently helpful and friendly. 5. The hotel is new, and requests for replenished toiletries were handled promptly. Cons: 1. The food at the rooftop pool bar was disappointing and overpriced. While the cocktails and beer were satisfactory, the food quality was subpar. We ordered calamari, which was shockingly small (see attached pictures - fewer than 10 pieces, with the first two large pieces being onion rings with no squid). This small plate cost RM28, which felt excessive. We would have preferred to spend that amount on another cocktail. 2. The breakfast experience was underwhelming. Although the restaurant's ambiance was pleasant, the food itself was not tasty. The main course was served as a set meal (one serving per person), and the beverage and salad bar options were limited. Over our 4D3N stay, the menu remained unchanged. 3. Daily room service consisted only of replenishing toiletries, towels, and water bottles, and making the bed. In four days, the floor was not vacuumed once. There was noticeable hair on the floor, which was never cleaned up. Even at home, we typically sweep our floors aevery other day. 4. Sea view rooms on the 6th floor have their view largely obstructed by trees.

I recently booked a 4 night stay at this hotel. Upon arrival Syam greeted us from our Grab taxi and was so helpful and took our bags. The check in was easy enough with just the tourist tax to additionally pay. I had requested a Beach Wing room. Syam took us to our bedroom and explained about which water was okay to drink. The room was huge, lots of space and a balcony. Air con as well as a ceiling fan. The bathroom was very dated and we did have a few issues which we made do with but the bathroom could have done with some renovations. The shower flooded the whole bathroom due to the cracked and broken ledge separating it, (see photo) there was no shower door so no way of preventing the water leaving the shower. The towels were fluffy and a generous size. Breakfast had a good selection and they do cook fresh eggs or omelette. The staff everywhere were all extremely welcoming and friendly. The pool was great and easy to get a sun lounger as so quiet. The beach again was great, the sea perfect of you had children as very calm and shallow. Overall a lovely stay but would be nice to have an upgraded bathroom.

Ottima anche la colazione tutta di prima qualità e con diverse tipologie. Consiglio inoltre di prendere qualche drink nei bar, sono veramente buoni. Il servizio è eccezionale, sia dall’accoglienza che dalla cura dei minimi dettagli Sicuramente vale la pena venire in questo resort, tornerò sicuramente. Un ringraziamento speciale anche a Zach, cameriere che col suo sorriso e gentilezza ci ha fatto sentire come a casa.

Un hotel meraviglioso per un soggiorno confortevole. Corrisponde alla valutazione in stelle indicata e, cosa più importante, soddisfa le aspettative. Territorio spazioso, pulito, curato e accogliente. Ci sono molti spazi verdi e animali tropicali che vivono nel loro habitat naturale: scoiattoli, buceri (buceri malesi) e molti altri. L'hotel dispone di due piscine, una con acqua dolce (clorata), l'altra con acqua di mare (salata) e una piccola piscina con idromassaggio. Altri servizi che offrono tutto il necessario per una fantastica vacanza, anche con i bambini. L'hotel dispone di spiaggia privata e accesso diretto al mare. La spiaggia e il mare in sé sono per principianti... L'hotel non può influenzarli :) Il servizio è di alta qualità. Il personale non è invadente, ma attento e reattivo. La nostra villa (207) aveva evidentemente bisogno di qualche ristrutturazione, ma era abbastanza abitabile e non ha rovinato l'atmosfera. La pulizia e l'igiene regolari sono ineccepibili. La colazione è standard, non aspettatevi niente di speciale, ma non avrete fame. C'è sempre una certa scelta e varietà. I prodotti sono sempre freschi e i piatti preparati sono decisamente commestibili. L'hotel è situato lontano dalla spiaggia centrale di Chenang, ma è raggiungibile a piedi, così come dalle zone commerciali, dai bar e dai ristoranti.
