UUtente ospiteWe were blown away with the rooms and amenities here. It’s located a short walk to the main entrance to Emeishan, but is tucked away in a cute village with countless little restaurants. The family suite was enormous with cool touches for the kids, a kitchenette, and a washing machine. My biggest regret is that we only stayed for one night. The power to the village went out early in the morning, but the staff went out of their way to take care of us before we set out on the mountain. This is no fault of the hotel (and apparently a rare occurrence) but if anything reaffirmed how well they take care of their guests. You’ll probably need to speak Chinese to arrange for any specific requests but hotel signage includes English and the staff are patient enough to probably work through a translation app. We hope to stay here again, but will extend our visit for several days to truly enjoy all the cool spots in the hotel.

UUtente ospiteService: First of all, we arrived at Emeishan Station at 9 a.m. and had booked the pick-up service in advance. The hotel butler came to pick us up in a business vehicle. Although the hotel is just a few minutes’ drive away, this thoughtful service greatly enhanced the overall experience. Le Méridien Emeishan is positioned as a resort hotel with over 300 rooms. Since we arrived quite early, we initially thought we’d have to wait until the afternoon to check in. However, the hotel had available rooms and kindly allowed us to check in right away. The butler even gave us two cups of coffee and drove us around in a sightseeing cart to show us different room types. Although we had only booked a standard room, they upgraded us to a lake-view room with beautiful scenery. We really appreciate the hotel’s excellent service! Additionally, the butler gave us 10 bottles of water upon check-in, which was more than enough—no need to call for more during our stay. Facilities: The hotel grounds are quite large, and the buildings are low-rise. Guests staying in Building 2 may need to walk about six to seven minutes to their rooms. The hotel offers a lobby bar, reading lounge, gym, hot spring pool, swimming pool, and kids’ play area. The facilities are generally comprehensive, though the entertainment options may feel a bit limited for a resort hotel. The children’s play area includes simple slides, swings, and a small ball pit—fairly modest in scale. Location: About 2 km from Baoguo Temple and close to the shuttle bus station for Emei Mountain. Very convenient. Breakfast: Abundant and delicious, with the option to dine outdoors in a beautiful setting. Environment: The hotel is located next to Exiu Lake, surrounded by a scenic park with views of the Golden Summit (Jinding). The environment inside the hotel is also pleasant—perfect for a relaxing weekend getaway. Overall: The highlight of this hotel is its outstanding service, which is undoubtedly the most important aspect for a resort. It would be even better if the facilities were more varied.

SSatari GeoffreyWhat a beautiful hotel. It is situated in a very strategic location in the middle of the happening where the Giant Buddha is (around 800m to entrance gate. The pedestrian street where the hotel is located, is gorgepusly colorful illuminated in the evening until around 23:00 Xiaoyan, the hotel staff is very helpful and escorted me to my room and explained everything regarding the functionaliity of the room. Check in was also efficiently done by Xiaoyan. Thank you. We had dinner and breakfast in the hotel. Food was sooo deliciois and competitively reasonably priced according to my opinion compared to prices in the Netherlands. The atmosphere at the bar overlooking the river is nice. Definitely want to come back again in the near future.

The hotel seems to have been open for a very long time, and the renovation appears quite old-fashioned. However, this doesn’t significantly affect the overall cleanliness of the hotel, although some areas might not be as clean due to the age of the building. During our stay, the toilet bowl was clogged. We informed the front desk before leaving, and the issue was resolved by the time we returned. The breakfast is average with limited options, but every morning a staff brings it to our room. Since the breakfast is free and included, there isn’t much to complain about. Overall, this place is value for money.

RRenny9898Questo è l'hotel che fa per voi se desiderate delle buone strutture onsen e una splendida vista dalla vostra camera. Il personale dell'hotel è stato cordiale e meticoloso. C'erano persino bagnini in servizio presso le piscine riscaldate, sia interne che esterne. Sebbene non si trattasse di una camera onsen privata, le strutture onsen erano facili da raggiungere e la camera offriva una vista meravigliosa. Le strutture onsen erano pulite e offrivano un'ampia varietà di trattamenti. L'hotel indicava la temperatura per ogni onsen e tutte le piscine onsen interne avevano diverse vasche alle erbe. Anche le piscine onsen esterne erano piuttosto interessanti e divertenti. Una era per i bambini ed era dotata di giochi d'acqua, l'altra era una piscina con vortici per adulti (i vortici erano piuttosto forti, quindi assicuratevi che il vostro bambino sia sempre sorvegliato da un adulto). Anche gli spogliatoi erano spaziosi e puliti. C'è anche un distributore automatico di snack e bevande nella piscina interna riscaldata e nell'area onsen. È possibile sedersi e rilassarsi sui tavoli e sulle sedie a sdraio disponibili. La nostra camera d'albergo era molto spaziosa e pulita per la nostra famiglia di quattro persone. Ci sono ristoranti e minimarket proprio accanto all'hotel, quindi pasti e acquisti sono stati molto comodi. Il ristorante e la colazione dell'hotel erano discreti, anche se non eccezionali rispetto alle migliori opzioni culinarie di Chengdu. La posizione dell'hotel è fantastica, a soli 10-15 minuti di auto dall'ingresso di Emeishan. Nel complesso, anche se abbiamo soggiornato solo una notte, abbiamo trascorso un'esperienza fantastica.
