Il personale, estremamente disponibile e attento, mi ha accolto dopo che l'autobus mi ha lasciato. Mi hanno aiutato a trasportare i bagagli, facendoli rotolare lungo le strade acciottolate e su per i 167 gradini. Preparatevi ad affrontare scalini senza corrimano! La mia camera era incantevole e si affacciava sul bellissimo villaggio. Nelle vicinanze c'era un ristorante delizioso. Consiglio vivamente di visitare anche l'artigianato dell'argenteria, un'opera del patrimonio immateriale, che si trova nelle vicinanze. L'ambiente e l'igiene sono molto buoni. Il panorama nella stanza è molto buono. Il secondo piano ha anche una piccola scena. C'è un senso di fuoco tra le persone. L'aria è molto buona. We arrived in Xijiang and were immediately met with such a kind surprise—they upgraded our room for my birthday, which truly set the tone for our entire stay. We were on the third floor with the most wonderful view, looking out over their little water feature and the village beyond. Our balcony, complete with a tea set and two chairs, quickly became one of our favorite spots. Sitting there, especially in the evening, felt magical—like we were nestled among the stars overlooking the town. The location is fantastic—just a short walk from the viewing platform and easily accessible down into the main village. Arriving was also incredibly smooth. As first-time visitors to China, we were quite nervous navigating trains and logistics as English speakers, but the hotel staff stepped in early with clear, thoughtful guidance. From the very beginning, they were attentive, responsive, and genuinely kind. When we arrived at the North Gate after taking the shuttle into the scenic area, a staff member met us and carried both of our bags up the hill and stairs to the accommodation. This was such a thoughtful gesture—especially because the terrain can be challenging. (For future travelers: if possible, avoid bringing heavy suitcases—but if you do, you’ll be very well taken care of here.) Check-in was seamless, and our room was extremely comfortable with all the amenities we needed. They provided water, soft robes, and made communication very easy via WeChat. Breakfast was also a highlight—we opted for the Chinese breakfast, which was light, healthy, and a perfect way to start the day before exploring all the incredible street food in town. We especially loved the communal living space—a cozy café-style area with a balcony overlooking the village. It was such a peaceful place to sit, have tea, and take in the views both during the day and under the night sky. They also had everything you could need: a coffee maker, dishes, mugs, and even fresh spring water, which was a lovely touch. The warmth of the people here truly made the experience unforgettable. The housekeeping staff were so kind, and the younger staff members were incredibly helpful and attentive. It really felt like being welcomed into a home rather than just staying at a hotel. And the little cats around the property made it even more special. On our departure day, we were running late for the last bus, and one of the younger staff members carried my very heavy bag down the hill and practically ran with it to make sure we made it on time. He stayed with us until we were safely on board. That level of care and service is something we will never forget. We would return in a heartbeat. Thank you, thank you, thank you again to the family and the entire staff for your kindness and for taking such wonderful care of us. You made our short stay in Xijiang an absolute pleasure and a weekend we will remember forever.

This is a very cute room with Zen light qualities and a minimalist theme that complements the location. I spent hours just looking out the window admiring the scenery. I encourage you to do the same. People in this province are the friendliest and all of China. This is reflected in the hotel staff.Xijiang Miao Village it’s not an easy place to get to. It is not an easy place to leave. Therefore, the in keeper staff here went out of their way to make my journey a good one. When they were welcoming to the city, arrival in keeper tried to poach me away and had me climbing up 100 m of ancient carved stairs while carrying a heavy bag. I wanted to punch that person when I found out he was an impostor after climbing up to that altitude in sketch conditions. Be weary of such people upon arrival. In contrast, this place is super nice and the staff is super nice . I highly recommend. But it is important to travel light when you visit this village the stairs can be very dangerous when wet, but they are super old.

Infine, abbiamo scoperto che il B&B aveva il suo Aniu Photography (consigliato anche dal direttore dell'hotel). Quella sera, dopo cena, era un po' tardi, così abbiamo prenotato un servizio fotografico per la mattina successiva. Devo fare i complimenti al fotografo, le sue capacità sono incredibili! La composizione e l'illuminazione sono fantastiche! I due truccatori hanno tecniche molto delicate e sono molto gentili. Siamo andati a pranzo nel ristorante che ci avevano consigliato ed era davvero buono! Inoltre, qui non ci sono consumi nascosti, puoi scegliere tutti i vestiti che vuoi e hanno anche regalato due vestiti da uomo, haha, il che è fantastico e lo stile è molto adatto allo stile del villaggio Miao. Sono molto soddisfatto, dal servizio fotografico alla scelta dei film. Dopo lo scatto, il fotografo ci ha fatto guardare le foto e ci ha chiesto di segnalare eventuali difetti. Great location, in the heart of the scenic area. However, it is a little difficult to find using Amap but once you find the hotel, it’s easy to navigate. The hostess don’t speak English so foreigners have your translation app or WeChat ready. Also, you’ll need to pay the 110 yuan to access the hotel. The fee also includes access to sightseeing and scenic bus rides. The room was clean but I noticed mold in the bathroom where the caulking or tape along the window.

We had a really lovely stay at this hotel. The staff are very helpful to guide you to the hotel location - it is located within the Miao scenic area so you need to buy ticket and travel by shuttle bus. It is very easy with the help of the hotel. The hotel is in an AMAZING location on top of the hill. Our room had views over the whole village and valley, I think it’s one of the best views from a hotel room I’ve ever had. Room was big, very clean and nice bed and bathroom. Very highly recommend that you stay here!! Miao village is so relaxing and nice, lovely streets to wander and friendly people.

Hotel is located inside the scenic area, a great place to experience life style ans food of Miao people.. the only short fall is no transport within the scenic area for tourists, hence awful lot of walking to do 🙂..
