Wow what an amazing place!! I booked this hotel last minute for a break for some rest and sunshine and I was NOT disappointed! ✔️ Free delicious welcome drink (lemongrass) and cold towel ✔️ Massive shower in the bedroom ✔️ The staff are so friendly and hospitable ✔️ USB ports and English plugs (no need for an adapter if you’re from the UK) ✔️ So much is free e.g. Teabaz, snacks at the bar at 18:30, glass bottomed boat, snorkelling… ✔️ Free drinking water ✔️ Never stayed in a hotel with proper coffee in the room before! - ground coffee and cafetière!! Soooo good and beats those gross instant sachets. ✔️ Absolutely stunning sea view from my balcony! ✔️ It’s quite a small and intimate place which I liked, the staff remembered my name and room number which made me feel special ✔️ THE FOOD!!!!! Omg it was incredible!!! Always so much choice!! And if for some bizarre reason nothing takes your fancy on the daily buffet, the chef will rustle something up for you in the kitchen. I’d read reviews before coming about how people wanted more choice for food, but I honestly did not understand this - there was always soooo much choice and such a range of delicious things I never got bored. 👏 The most positive thing for me was the hotel’s ban on single use plastic and their impressive ethos to protect the environment - such an amazing thing and it needs to be supported! If there is only one reason for you to go to this hotel this should be it! They have a ‘bulk shop’ where you can collect little glass jars and stock up on stuff - what an awesome idea. A few negatives: ✖️ The cleanliness could have been better - there were stains on the towels and sheets. Also the pool was always dirty. ✖️ The wifi was pretty weak and I couldn’t get it in my room - I suppose if you want a week technology free it’s a good thing! TOP TIPS: 👉 If you don’t want to use the reusable water bottle the hotel provides you may want to bring your own - I did and was very glad I did 👉 They provide crepes/pancakes every morning for breakfast and at tea time from the street food van but they don’t have Nutella! If you can’t have your pancakes without Nutella I suggest bringing some of those little sachets. 👉 I brought quite a lot of snacks with me - didn’t eat any 😆 You can get delicious snacks from the bulk shop like dried mango, nuts, sweet stuff, and it’s all local. Also I ate so much at breakfast I was full most of the morning! 👉 I was glad I didn’t go full inclusive - I went half board and only needed that. For lunch I ate some of the delicious street food and it was so cheap! 👉 I went as a solo female traveller and felt perfectly safe, there were several other solo females there too.

Small family orientated hotel. Perfect location. 5 minutes walk to a shopping mall and 10 minutes to the beach. Friendly staff who are very helpful. The rooms are cleaned most days to a high standard. Our room , more like an apartment. had an en-suite, kitchenette with cooking facilities, sofa, TV, dining table, and fridge, and a balcony with table and chairs. Lovely small pool with plenty of sun loungers . Perfect for small families and couples. We would love to stay there again.

We loved this place. We came as a family of six. Mom, dad, granny and three teenagers. We loved the chill vibe. The rooms were clean and had everything we needed . Beautiful access to a stunning beach where we swam and watched the sun set. The location is purfect and so close to the main beach and grocer. Which was very convenient. The pool is clean and has a area where the kids loved to listed to music and play the games they provide. They have beach toys that you can take to the beach and provide fresh beach towels every time you go out. The staff was so friendly and catered to our every need. We loved the chilled vibe and will definatly come again. It has everything a five star hotel would have but with we felt like we could relax allot more here.

Tornata da qualche giorno da una vacanza da favola a Mauritius. Ho soggiornato al Resort Ambre di Belle Mare per due settimane e con grande piacere scrivo questa recensione. All'arrivo accolta in modo caloroso dalla reception che in brevissimo tempo ha effettuato il check in e mi ha accompagnato in camera. Simpatici e professionali per ogni mia richiesta. Ringrazio il Direttore, Reyad , la dolce Samanta che parla benissimo italiano, ma un pensiero positivo va a tutto lo staff dell'ufficio anche per il check out ed i bagagli. E poi incominciamo la vacanza...... Tre ristoranti super curati dove trovi piatti prelibati. Ogni giorno i miei chef mi deliziavano con portate raffinate e deliziose, il tavolo sempre addobbato con fiori mi accoglieva ad ogni pasto. Emozione unica a festeggiare il mio compleanno in cucina in compagnia degli chef con una cena fantastica ed indimenticabile, è stata una serata simpaticissima e a casa ho portato un quadro con la pergamena del programma. Ringrazio di tutto cuore il grande Chef Kallooa , Chef Vikash , Chef Ricky Jeebun, chef Doman Vicky, Chef Avi e tutto il loro splendido Staff del ristorante Indigo, Dolce Vita e la Plage . Ho assaggiato dei piatti nuovi buonissimi presentati in modo spettacolare. Mi hanno coccolata e mi hanno fatto sentire in famiglia... una Grande Famiglia. Ringrazio anche il personale dei tre ristoranti sempre sorridenti e disponibili , ogni mattina mi accoglievano con un abbraccio. Cocktail e caffè espresso al Coral Bar ridendo e scherzando con tutti loro. Ciao ragazzi !!! Camera sempre perfetta , profumata e decorata con fiori. Qui ringrazio la dolce Reena Boojhawon che al mio compleanno mi ha lasciato un capolavoro sul letto . A bientot Reena e ancora grazie di tutto. Questi sono ricordi che porto nel cuore e che mi accompagneranno fino alla mia prossima vacanza. Tutti voi mi avete creato dei momenti unici che non potrò mai dimenticare , ma nello stesso tempo , vi faccio ancora i complimenti per come gestite con vera professionalità ogni settore dell'Ambre . Un particolare ringraziamento alla Direzione del Resort. Mi manca al mattino andare sul mio balcone vedere un panorama con colori stupendi, scendere per la colazione ed iniziare la giornata con i vostri sorrisi... si...mi sentivo in famiglia. Ancor merci e a bientot !!!

Siamo stati in questo struttura ai primi di dicembre per sei giorni durante un tour che abbaimo fatto a Mauritus. Dopo un piccolo problema inziale con la camera dovuto ad un nostro errore di prenotazione (avevamo prenotato per noi due una stanza family per cinque), prontamente e magnificamente risolto del direttore Iqbal, ci siamo potuti godere questo bellissimo angolo di paradiso. La stanza nuova ottima, pulita, funzionale ed puntualmente tenuta dalla ragazza di cui purtroppo non ricordo il nome. Tutto il personale in genere attento, cordiale e sorridente. Il ristorante, a buffet, abbondante e di buona qualità con un buon assortimento in parte fisso ed in parte variabile di giorno in giorno. C'è anche un ristorante mauriziano alla carta, veramente buono ma con pochi posti, da prenotare con un po' di anticipo ed un chiosco sulla spiaggia con street food, buono, per chi a pranzo ha voglia di una cosa veloce senza andare a sedersi al buffet. Il bar sulla spiaggia offre anche intrattenimento serale soft con musica. L'hotel, forse un po' datato in alcune parti (ma sappiamo che è prevista una ristrutturazione a breve), si affaccia direttamente su una spiaggia splendida di sabbia bianca corallina (non scotta nemmeno sotto il sole di mezzogiorno), attrezzata con ombrelloni e sdraio. E' abbastanza lunga (6-700 mt) e con pochissima gente (vi si affaccia solo questo hotel, un'altro poco distante e qualche villa privata). Il mare, da cartolina, tranquillamente balneabile senza coralli vicino a riva. C'è anche una piscina, ma con un mare così è pco usata. Consigliamo l'escursione in barca alle cascate ed alle 5 isole di fronte (tra cui l'isola dei Cervi). Noi l'abbiamo fatta privata (barca solo per noi) con Sylvian, beach boy che trovate in spiaggia e che parla perfettamente italiano, oppure si può prenotare anche quella di gruppo tramite reception dell'hotel. Nel complesso un'ottima vacanza che consigliamo.

We stayed at OceanV, Grand Baie for 7 nights and we absolutely LOVED our stay. We took the “all inclusive” package and I can really recommend this option as this really makes the entire holiday more enjoyable, no need to stress about paying for any drinks, lunch, afternoon tea or dinner. Inclusive package review: You get a set menu for lunch and dinner which is always decent. My wife is a fussy eater but always managed to find something to eat. For dinner you can also choose options off the main menu which helps when the kitchen is a bit adventurous with the set menu. The drinks that are included are three types of beer, three types of wine, 8/9 cocktails and three mocktails as well as a wide range of cooldrink and hot beverages. This was really sufficient and if you do want to try anything else, you can always just order from the bar. Room and service review: The staff is extremely friendly and always helpful. The room was perfect, amazing view of the sea and an aircon that we had on the entire time and worked perfectly. The staff cleaned the room and bathroom everyday, no complaints, just compliments. Trips/Excursions: We did not use the hotel’s recommended service providers as they were a bit expensive. We went on a catamaran trip, initially using the hotel connection but after they cancelled we were able to find Coral Belle, a very professional catamaran trip company who have three catamaran’s that go to the islands every day, they have a little shop in sunset boulevard - HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! We took the bus everywhere, Grand Baie for shopping and Port Louis for the day trip - really worth it regarding the price 24 rs from Pereybere to Grand Baie and 44 rs from Pereybere to Port Louis. Recommended to wait for the express bus to Port Louis if you can, the normal bus takes a quite while longer. Finally, the beach is walking distance, 300m, and we were able to walk around to the beach right in front of the hotel for privacy and less crowded. All Round: We would come back and recommend!!!

Il soggiorno ha pienamente soddisfatto le nostre aspettative. La struttura è accogliente e confortevole, in particolare le camere da letto sono molto spaziose e pulite (pulizia della stanza 2/3 volte al giorno). Inoltre, l'albergo offre una vasta gamma di ristoranti al suo interno. Noi avevamo la formula ”half board” (mezza pensione) che prevede la possibilità di scegliere tra 3 degli 8 ristoranti a disposizione. Cibo ottimo in tutti i ristoranti che abbiamo provato e adatto ad ogni esigenze e necessità. Tuttavia, nella mezza pensione, a differenza dell'all inclusive, non sono incluse bevande alcoliche (vino/birra) ma sono considerati come extra. Anche per quanto riguarda la spiaggia, nulla da segnalare. é molto lunga e i lettini sono comodi, anche se al mattino conviene ”prenotarsi” i lettini per evitare di restare senza (cosa che però a noi non è mai capitata) essendo la struttura dotata anche di 3 piscine con annessi lettini. Evidenzio che l'albergo è situato ad est, quindi il sole tramonta molto presto e già verso le 4 non c'è più sole sulla spiaggia. Nonostante ciò, per fortuna, non ci siamo mai annoiati essendo l'albergo dotato di molte attività di intrattenimento. Sono infatti incluse attività acquatiche come sci nautico, boat glass (barca con vetro sotto per vedere il fondale), gonfiabili, ma anche attività come minigolf, bocce, ping pong e campi da tennis. Sono a disposizione, a pagamento, anche delle biciclette. Noi abbiamo utilizzato molto anche la palestra che offre una vasta scelta di macchinari. Unica pecca che segnalo è il servizio di organizzazione delle escursioni. Poco tempestivo ed efficiente, dovevamo spesso rincorrere noi il ragazzo che se ne occupava.

Abbiamo soggiornato al Sunrise Attitude per una settimana, da fine dicembre a inizio gennaio per la nostra luna di miele. Il posto è a dir poco magico. Ambienti esterni stupendi, curati nel minimo dettaglio, infatti sembra di entrare in un micromondo di colori e suoni africani. Le camere sono comode e ben attrezzate con tutti i comfort. Lo staff è gentilissimo, flessibile, attento e pronto per ogni esigenza e necessità dell'ospite, sempre sorridente e davvero interessato al buon andamento della vacanza. Lloyd, Avish, Vicky, Sarita, Sebastien, Tayrell, Manuel, Ravi e tutto lo staff sono davvero stupendi e cordiali! Il mare è a 20 secondi dalla struttura, al di là di una stradina ed è a dir poco stupendo per colori, comodità e pace che trasmette. La struttura ha due grandissime piscine con comode sdraio per potersi rilassare al massimo e, inoltre, organizza per ogni giornata diverse attività che permettono di poter diversificare il soggiorno e vivere a pieno la vacanza. Propone anche attività gratuite come snorkelling e giro in barca al largo. La cena di Capodanno è stata organizzata con grande cura e con ricchezza di particolari, così come anche la speciale cena per la luna di miele che ci è stata offerta. Vi invito davvero a soggiornare al Sunrise Attitude...io sono già molto nostalgica e sicuramente ci ritornerò! Grazie per tutto! Anna e Francesco ♥️
