Nel contesto dell'attuale situazione del COVID, il primo hotel è stato chiuso nonostante non abbia spiegato il contrario - così abbiamo chiamato il vecchio giorno RIJA VEF - non hanno potuto risolvere il problema, né hanno potuto affrontare il loro inglese o la loro capacità di gestire una domanda. Poi mi ricordo di aver visto Tomo guidare nel corso degli anni - e hanno vinto il mio cuore - la gamma dei prezzi, in grado di pagare in contanti, la qualità della stanza giusta, vicinanza a dove il mio amico cliente deve essere il giorno prossimo, Un buon colazione e, in tutta sincerità, i prezzi per entrambi erano un omicidio. Aggiungi come la signora ricevitrice ha gestito la camera e la stanza con una doccia e WC perfetti - pulito e invitato- ho anche detto al mio amico: ''Qui puoi fare la doccia tutta la notte, se vuoi''' e dopo il suo 15-hour-bus ordinamento, questo è almeno quello che farei! Ora so che abbiamo una soluzione molto buona, utile per la prossima volta - e in realtà ho organizzato anche così un altro ospite sarà qui domani sera!@:) Grazie alla signora receptionista - così gentile e utile!:)

Beware of any of the 2 bedroom apartments. They are not accessible by elevator - there are 2 flights of old, extremely narrow stairs that you have to climb with your luggage dragging behind you. The apartment itself has a lot of broken equipment, that they will then try to charge you for at checkout. The staff is incredibly rude - they didn't like us using the fan heater so much (it was freezing and they hadn't turned on the radiators yet), so they demanded the remote control so we couldn't use it. The place mostly has visiting work crews that are noisy all night with women coming and going. It was an absolutely horrible stay, in a building that reminds me of old Communist block housing, with even worse facilities.

Chose the Stabu Seta for its location as our usual hotel has now been turned into apartments. Check-in was good other than our room had not been made up so we left our luggage in our friends room and headed out to meet other friends staying in a different hotel a couple of streets away for drinks and dinner. The receptionist was extremely apologetic but we were not concerned about the mistake. It’s a charming old-style hotel with a lovely little courtyard between the two buildings with tables and chairs for passing the time and a beautiful, tiled staircase. Our room (54) was a good size for the two us with plenty of storage space although I wish I had brought some extra hangers from home but we managed. There were 2 large single quilts on the double bed which was great as my husband prefers to sleep on top of the covers during summer but I do like a little bit of cover. The bed was super comfortable and I slept very well during our stay which is unusual for me. The bathroom is large with a shower over the bath and shower gel and hand soap is provided in dispensers over the bath and above the sink. The towels were a good size and nice and soft. The bedrooms are in corridors separated from the main stairwell/lifts by doors so the rooms are super quiet at night – we didn’t hear a thing and the windows overlooking the road outside are well sound-proofed so very little road noise. There is, unfortunately., no air-conditioning at all in the hotel and being at the front our room had the sun shining on it most of the day but there was a tall fan in the room and I took my small usb fan which I placed on the bedside table so we were not too hot during the night. There is a fridge in the room but no tea and coffee making facilities which I think is a major mistake (see below). The hotel website states free tea and coffee is available in Reception but unfortunately the machine was very small and most times I wanted to grab a coffee, particularly over the weekend, the machine was either out of water, out of beans or there were no cardboard cups. The hotel should either provide a larger machine and ensure it is well stocked or provide kettles in the rooms. This was my only negative, everything else though was great, especially the buffet breakfast in what would have been the cellar years ago – a great choice of hot and cold food, different varieties of cereal, fruit and breads and two coffee machines! The hotel doesn’t have a bar but there is a lovely little cellar bar next door which was charming and stocked a good range of local and international drinks. We visit Riga regularly and would certainly stay in this hotel again.

Per un soggiorno a Riga, all'interno di un viaggio nei Paesi Baltici, avevo scelto questo albergo. La mia scelta era dovuta a due fattori: vicinanza al centro e alla stazione ferroviaria, e il buon rapporto prezzo/ qualità che esprimeva. Erano incognite sia l'ospitalità che la comodità offerta dalla struttura. Devo riconoscere che la scelta si è dimostrata felice: staff gentile, molto efficiente e in grado di offrire ottimi suggerimenti e assistenza. La camera non era per la verità molto grande, ma era pulita e dotata del comfort di un albergo a 3 stelle. Da raccomandare a viaggiatori che badano al sodo e al rapporto prezzo/ qualità.

La città è stata molto tranquilla, a 15 minuti a piedi dalla città e si è immobilizzata in una zona tranquilla, lungo una strada principale. In qualche modo sono riuscito a perdere questo email quando sono arrivato e gli ospiti erano estremamente pronti a aiutarmi fuori. L'appartamento è accogliente e ideale per i viaggiatori solitari o coppie. La cucina è ben fornita con cucina, cucina, tazze e panini ecc. Per cucina, c'è un due anelli di induzione, che per me è stato sufficiente. Ho notato anche un lavastoviglie e lavastoviglie. La TV è attivato su Internet, grande per i canali di streaming Netflix o Youtube. In generale, ho trovato gli ospiti molto utili. Se fossi di nuovo a Riga, sarei più che felice di rimanere nello stesso appartamento.

Hotel molto semplice, lontano dal centro della città. Non c'era nessuna condizionatore d'aria nella stanza e la stanza era molto calda, perché il sole lo riscaldava. Colazione molto modesta. Molto parcheggio e parcheggio gratuito.

Cosa ci è piaciuto · Posizione ok, a pochi minuti a piedi dal centro e dalla stazione centrale. La nostra camera aveva un piccolo frigo che ci è stato utile. Colazione prevalentemente salata ma buona e inclusa nel prezzo. Tutto sommato, se non si hanno molte aspettative, l’hotel va bene per pochi giorni. Cosa non ci è piaciuto · Mancanza di ascensore. Se non si ha bagaglio ingombrante, va bene. Nessun ripiano nel bagno per appoggiare il beauty o altro. Le tazze disponibili in camera assieme al boiler per il tè non vengono risciacquate dal personale di servizio. Bustine di tè non disponibili. Parcheggio distante circa 5 minuti a piedi dall'hotel. Purtroppo il custode non ci riconosceva o fingeva di non riconoscerci e dovevamo sempre spiegare con difficoltà linguistiche che eravamo ospiti dell'hotel, che avevamo già pagato il parcheggio e regolarmente ci faceva posteggiare lontanissimi dall'uscita pur essendoci tanti posti liberi più vicini. Evidentemente gli stavamo antipatici.
