I inquired re early check in and was told to call on Friday morning. I called and the guy answering ask me what time I wanted to come. I responded that was his call as I didn’t know when rooms would be ready; he suggested 1:00; I said oh ok! Upon my arrival no rooms were available and Jesus (His name) had no idea when a room would be ready; he knew he had told me 1:00; my friend and I waited patiently till 1:30; I ask him again re room, still no idea; I ask him re the number of hotel rooms, he said 98; I told him I found it strange that 1 1/2 hours from check in there were no rooms; his attitude was pathetic; At 1:50 I ask to speak to the manager and went thru the whole story. I also let her know I was past president of the group holding a symposium next door and that our group had many guests at the hotel. Surprisingly she was able to identify a room! Her attitude was not very customer oriented. The room did not have bath towels, but the 2nd shift staff did bring towels up. The breakfast was cold, coffee was good. Next year our group will strongly consider recommending guests stay in Rock Hill, 15 minutes away! I was really disappointed but recognized I was in Chester, what else could be expected!
