Pylea Beach Hotel

Durante la nostra settimana di allenamento in bicicletta abbiamo iniziato ogni giornata da questo hotel splendidamente posizionato. Tutte le camere con vista mare, a ca. 50 metri dalla spiaggia. C'era una piscina con lettini gratuiti. La colazione era ottima con marmellata in vasetti grandi. Sempre preparato al momento in diverse varietà! Abbiamo particolarmente apprezzato il muesli preparato appositamente dallo staff della cucina. Cuore ciclista, cosa vuoi di più? Avevamo a disposizione anche un buffet serale ricco, molto buono e vario. Le camere vengono pulite in modo pulito con gli asciugamani cambiati ogni giorno. Il personale è stato molto gentile e disponibile. Abbiamo apprezzato molto il nostro soggiorno al Pylea Beach Hotel. Noi raccomandiamo!!!!

A beautiful, peaceful, slightly old-fashioned hotel by the beach. Clean. Friendly service. A good breakfast with both hot and cold options. A pleasant courtyard and a clean pool. The service functions well both day and night. The staff are welcoming and engage in conversation.

Peaceful hotel with friendly and helpful staff. Room - we arrived at night and the staff member carried our luggage to our room for us and showed us around. We had booked a sea view, however, it seems all the rooms have a view to the sea but the higher you go the better, we were on second floor and had a lovely view 👌 We were a bit disappointed at first by the room which was basic with outdated furniture, however, it was extremely clean, had THE BEST air conditioning and even a fridge freezer! Cleanliness - there were always staff members around cleaning and tidying. The grounds are gorgeous and very well kempt. Our room was cleaned every day. Location - right by the beach with a gorgeous view. Not a great deal within walking distance but there were some restaurants, a kite surfing place and jet ski hire very nearby. The sunbeds on the beach outside the hotel were free for guests to use. The hotel is in the flight path of planes landing so can be very noisy but this did not impact on us at all. Travel - we got taxi to and from airport rather than an expensive transfer - this cost us 23 euros going to hotel and 18.50 going to the airport and the hotel ordered the taxi for us. Entertainment - this is a quiet hotel so the entertainment as far as I could tell was the pool, and a small games room. This was perfect for us. Pool - the pool is well kempt. It was very quiet in June with a selection of sun beds to choose from rather than a rush to get a good spot!! Service - all the staff were extremely helpful and friendly always saying hello. Food - we had bed and breakfast. Breakfast did not always have as much selection as you would get at a larger hotel but there were always some kind of eggs, bacon and sausages as well as pastries and/ or sweet breads. In summary, this hotel is peaceful, clean and comfortable and the service there is brilliant.

I very much enjoyed my 7-night stay at Pylea Beach. I stayed in room 311 (the top floor, two floors above ground). The hotel offered virtually everything I needed, as a solo traveller. The bed was comfortable, with clean, fresh linen. There was plenty of space, with adequate storage and a large desk/dressing table plus two bedside cabinets. The air conditioning was excellent, super efficient and easy to operate (and a must in temperatures of close to 40°c). There was a full size refrigerator, with small freezer compartment. This was a welcomed addition! There was a key-operated safe, which I rented for €21 for the week, which I was happy to do. The bathroom had all I needed. Plenty of surface space for toiletries. A very effective shower, with great pressure. Towels were changed every other day (I was happy to reuse). The balcony area was pleasant, not huge but plenty big enough for two fair size chairs and round table. This room got the sun in the morning. There were full size, lockable shutters over the balcony doors, which really helped keep the heat out during the day, along with the curtains inside. WiFi was free and pretty effective. The breakfast was served 7am-10am. There was a fair selection of cereals, hot items, continental breakfast items, fruits and breads, along with juices, tea and coffee. The breakfast area was super chilled out, a very relaxing start to the day. I really enjoyed the food I ate there, each morning. The pool and lawn area were a great size, with plenty of loungers and parasols, set amongst really pretty and well maintained gardens. The Pylea Beach is situated a stone's throw from the beach, which was so convenient. They offer free loungers and parasols to guests there too. There were plenty available. I did notice a beach bar, but didn't use it. It seemed to offer a decent selection of beverages and some ice creams. I loved this hotel as my base in Ialyssos. It's a fairly quiet resort, so ideal for a very relaxed time. Reception staff were helpful. Cleaners were lovely, they did a great job and were unobtrusive. They didn't come in particularly early (after 11am). Right next door to the Labranda Blue Bay Resort, which is a lively, family resort. Personally, this didn't bother me in the slightest. There's a mini market within a few minutes walk, which was handy. Bottles of drinking water on sale in the hotel reception, which was very useful. Only very minor downside, there was no tea/coffee facilities in the room. I'd packed my own travel kettle and tea bags, which solved that issue for me! I'd absolutely recommend Pylea Beach, particularly to couples and solos.

Pylea beach hotel We stayed in the hotel in july 2022. Hotel is very nice, only 20 m from the sea with pool and free sunbeds / by the pool and for pylea beach hotel guest by the sea too/. All room has view of the pool and partly  or full view on the sea. Aircondition is free. Beach is stony, but in the sea there is a sand. Hotel is very clean, cleaning of rooms is every day. Breakfast is great, every morning you can eat fried eggs, boiled eggs, omelet,  slices cheese, feta, ham, sausages, fried bacon, beans, jogurt, jam, honey, melon, baked tomato with cheese, different kind of vegetable, pancakes, 3 kinds of bread, water, juice, coffee and so on.. Staff is very nice and friendly and service is excelent. Near hotel there is a few restaurant, only 10 minutes by walk there is supermarket „My market“,   where you can buy everything.  30 minutes by walk is Ialyssos with many shops and restaurant. You can go by bus, it is for about 10 minutes, and bus goes every 20 minutes. We have been visiting Greece from 2004 every year and this hotel was realy great. Thank you for nice holiday.
