A wonderfully scenic boutique hotel set in a quiet area at the back of Lindos. The pool, bar and restaurant area , grounds, and rooms are immaculate and very clean, and the staff are very welcoming and attentive. There are two pools and plenty of places to sit and sunbath, and as the hotel only has about 25 rooms, sun beds are always available. Location wise, it’s about a 15 minute walk down hill to the town of Lindos with a taxi back being 6 euros. The beach is a little further down the hill. The breakfast was decent, quite a bit of choice and lots of freshly cooked choices with eggs. One thing that could be improved at breakfast is that a lot of the food was left with no covers on (the breads and pastries etc) and as the hotel’s breakfast area is outside, some of the food would go stale in the heat, and also meant that flies and bugs could land on it. I feel it needs to be covered. I did ask for new bread and the waiters were happy to bring new slices out when it was stale. The food we did eat from the restaurant for lunch was of a very good standard albeit, slightly more expensive than what you would pay in Lindos town. A few things that could be better is that the prices are quite expensive compared to other hotels, bars and restaurants. It’s far cheaper to eat and drink at the restaurants in Lindos town than eat or drink in the onsite bar and restaurant. Also, the mini bar prices are very expensive! This may be classed as a 5 star hotel, but they were charging 8 euros for a miniature pot of Pringles in the mini bar, when you could buy a full size pot for 2.80 in the supermarket 5 minutes away. M&Ms at 10 euros and gummy bears at 12 euros, again both under 3 euros in the local supermarket, and the drinks were no different. A fizzy soft drink was about 7 euros in the hotel, compared to 1.80 in the supermarket. So some of the prices really don’t stack up. The choice of English tv channels in the room was extremely limited too. In my experience, 5 star hotels usually offer more than just BBC world news as the only English Channel. This wouldn’t have been so bad had the WiFi worked but the signal was pretty poor in the rooms! It was intermittent and kept disconnecting. After asking several times if there was a problem with it, the hotel did reset the router but it was still as bad. Unfortunately, due to the hotels location, the phone signal was equally as bad, and the 5G signal was just as poor. If these small things could be improved, then this hotel would have been faultless.
