Celestial Lindos Suites

One of the most relaxing holidays that we have had in a long time and this is because of the hard work and dedication Eleni and her small team put in to this hotel to make it great for their guests . You could not ask for more , perfect location, fantastic rooms & great service. The hotel has recently been renovated to a high quality, rooms large and well appointed with a fridge and air con. The pool area is relaxing with plenty of loungers for the whole hotel. Breakfast was included, juice , tea/coffee, Greek yogurt with fruit, pastries, bread , ham & cheese . If you are still hungry after all of this there is a breakfast menu you could order from . The pool bar is open all day serving drinks & food , we ate here most days . The village of Lindos is just a short walk down the hill so the hotel is in the perfect spot , just out of the hustle and bustle but near enough to be part of it if you needed. We can’t thank Eleni enough, please keep doing what you do and don’t change a thing, true authentic tase of the Greece we love 🇬🇷

This could be a nice place to stay ,but unfortunately the owner seems very abrupt her people skills seems to be very lacking. The room and pool are very nice but the towels and bedding wasn't changed as frequently as other places we have stayed ,in fact the pillow case's wasn't changed in lthe two weeks of our stay. Continental breakfast was very poor when we asked for a spoon to eat our yoghurt we was abruptly told to use the spoon we stirred our coffee with. On our last day we decided while waiting for our coach to arrive to try the club sandwich which was advertised with bacon ham and cheese and lettuce but alas when it arrived it was minus the bacon ,we also had fries with this but again no cutlery supplied. All in all not a place I would go back as the owner was the most unfriendly Greek person we have ever met.

We spent 11 nights in the Celestial Lindos in late July / early August. We arrived late but the staff were on hand to meet us and get us settled in. The room was spacious - bed very comfortable and a good choice of pillows. Plenty of storage for all your clothes..decent sized minibar and it was spotless. The shower room was simply amazing - best one that I have had in any hotel I’ve been to. The air con worked a treat as the weather was hot!! The breakfast was fresh - bread / juice/ eggs and cheese/ham each morning but you could also purchase other items from the menu ( which we didn’t). There is a snack menu during the day which was also good - some Greek cuisine/ toasties etc. There was also an extensive drinks list including a lovely pint of cold Alpha beer…. The swimming pool and terrace were also great - no competing for beds as the complex has enough and the hotel itself only has 13 rooms/ suites. It was a real godsend in the heat. There is a supermarket about 3 minutes walk away ( if that) which has all you would need - lindos is a ten minute walk and a 3 minute taxi ride away. The bus stop is also about 500 metres away. No road noise at all. Eleni and her family were amazing - really attentive and nothing was too much trouble. Celestial Lindos is a small hotel with a great heart…a place to relax and just enjoy a slow pace. We would recommend it…we had a magical time.

While the hotel renovation is beautiful, large, clean rooms, nice pool area, it is important to remember this is a 2/3 star hotel depending on where you look and that is evident once you look past the appearance. We very much enjoyed our 10 nights here, staff friendly, in particular the owners daughters. There are just a few things that really let the place down and dampened our stay. Firstly, the breakfast - terrible. TUI advertise a ‘continental breakfast with eggs, ham, cheese etc’, the first few days we were served a basket of bread and some Greek yoghurt. I questioned if we were entitled to eggs and was told no as we had booked with TUI. After contacting TUI, the breakfast improved slightly and we were then given half a piece of cheese each and half a slice of ham each with some cucumber and tomato, still no eggs, disappointing when you have paid for bed and breakfast but we didn’t let it ruin our stay. One concern I did have is that whilst we were having a day by the pool, I returned to our room to find the hotel manager / owner stood in our room with 2 of the other guests of the hotel… my confusion clear, she explained that she was showing her friends the rooms after they had been renovated… confusion spiralled more as these guests were also staying at the hotel and all 15 rooms are finished to a similar standard. I found this really unprofessional and inappropriate given all of our belongings were in the room. The pool area is very quiet, sometimes too quiet and the music could do with being a little louder so you don’t feel like you’re disrupting others by talking… overall it’s a lovely hotel in a great location, just some slight things let it down.
