Hotel in zona Hamza Bey Mosque, Rodi

Questo hotel è vicino al mare nella nuova città di RODOS.Poiché non ci sono turisti in inverno, l'hotel è molto economico, ma le strutture alberghiere non sono ridotte perché non ci sono turisti.C'è il riscaldamento, il servizio è super buono, e la colazione è super ricca, anche se mi vedo solo da solo Dopo colazione, c'è un autobus dalla stazione degli autobus all'aeroporto in tre minuti a piedi dall'hotel, e ci vogliono circa 10-15 minuti per la città vecchia. l'auto per LINDOS costa solo 6 euro, il che è molto conveniente.

Al termine di un lungo viaggio tra le isole della Grecia mi sono fermato due giorni a Rodi in questo eccellente e grande Hotel. Tutto è stato perfetto. Dall'accoglienza al mio arrivo, alla bellissima camera che mi è stata riservata. Il personale professionalmente preparato mi ha fatto sentire completamente a mio agio e il mio soggiorno è stato fantastico. In posizione strategica il Manousos City Hotel è ottimo per visitare la città vecchia di Rodi, i siti archeologici e allo stesso tempo godere a pochi metri del bellissimo mare, delle sue spiagge senza rinunciare alla vita mondana frizzante e avvolgente. Del resto qui a Rodi è sempre ”estate” e tutto l'anno è ”vacanza”. Sinceramente ringrazio tutti gli amici e la Direzione del Manousos City Hotel con la certezza di ritornare il prima possibile. Avevo il meglio qui! Conosciuto tante persone di tutto il mondo. L'ospitalità era incredibile, letti erano comodi, stanza pulita, si sentiva al sicuro. Il personale era molto amichevole intorno all'orologio. Air con non lavorava nel nostro dormitorio, ma lavorava nell'area cucina, quindi abbiamo solo tenuto la porta aperta per la ventilazione e era semplicemente in grado. Nonostante i fuochi d'artificio, l'ostello ci ha aiutato a sentirci al sicuro per tutta la vacanza, e lavorava efficientmente per tutta la zona nera.

The hotel is clean and well maintained and the staff are helpful and friendly. We didn't eat in the bar so I can't comment on the food but it looked good and plentiful if a little overpriced! Be aware though that almost EVERYTHING is an extra so budget quite a bit more if you want to use sunbeds, air conditioning or wifi. We didn't as the costs were outrageous. We had a Superior Studio apartment and the beds were very comfortable and the room cleaned daily. We didn't find any of the 'complimentary' toiletries which they advertise although we had a lovely but empty liquid soap dispenser! The shower is really good and would be better if the shower screen had been bigger. They do supply a squeegee for you to remove all the water that sprays all over the bathroom floor. The shower has a fixed head and can't be adjusted and there is a switchable hand shower head for squirting your 'bits'. A good hair dryer is provided. The biggest deal-breaker for us was that in no way was it a fully equipped self-catering apartment. There is NO KETTLE, NO TOASTER and very little of anything else in the way of kitchen equipment. A coffee peculator is provided which is useless (and I stress useless) for making tea. If you want to self-cater, the very reason we booked this hotel, don't bother booking here. You will be very disappointed. If you want to eat out there are many very good restaurants within very short walking distance. You'll be lucky to get breakfast before 10:30 AM though. If you are a light sleeper then think about what it would be like sleeping within one meter of your fridge compressor turning on and off all night long. The balcony is far from private and ours had only a view of an orange tree which was sprayed with chemicals (I assume) every couple of days! It was right next to the walkway to all the other apartments which is great if you want to meet everyone while you're trying to eat your boiled egg and no toast breakfast washed down with lukewarm tea! All in all we had a great time in Rhodes and this hotel could so easily be made to be perfect but sadly I really think they are more interested in taking money than providing a comfortable self-catering holiday experience. Still gave them an above average score though for all the good reasons stated above but we won't be staying there again for all the many bad reasons. Be sure to check out the Royal bar just round the corner. The food is wonderful, the owner and staff are fantastic and the prices reasonable. A bit further on is the San Allotte restaurant which is equally good (maybe better) but more expensive.

Amo questo 2* hotel vicino al porto e 5 minuti in città antica. Ideale per chi vuole una base e essere fuori e circa come nessuna piscina per lounge che ci ha assolutamente adattato. Opzioni sono B&B o Room Only. Non sono una persona per colazione, ma sembrava fantastico, ho prenotato una camera doppia per un singolo lavoro. Includevano Frigo, TV, Air Con, Safe, Bagno era un po' datato, ma tutto andava bene. Capisco che andrebbero aggiornati. Il personale era carino e molto amichevole. Pensavamo che avessimo avuto fortuna sia con la posizione che con l'hotel stesso. Non poteva essere più felice.
