Lough Inagh Lodge Hotel

I had the pleasure of staying in Lough Inagh Lodge Hotel as part of a family gathering this Easter weekend. The food, accommodation and service were excellent. Máire and her team could not have been more helpful. It truly felt like a home away from home which made our stay all the more relaxing. The Panoramic view of the Twelve Bens and Lough Inagh from the hotel is spectacular. Tom the bar manager pulls the smoothest pint of Guinness which together with their seafood is a marriage made in heaven.

From arrival to departure we absolutely loved every minute here. We were checked in by a great guy (I’m sorry I didn’t catch your name!!) and from the first minute we arrived he looked after us impeccably, we literally wanted for nothing. I noticed he always checked in on us in the front room, without being invasive and, would happily chat or not, he really is a pro & just knows his stuff & also the young lady who worked the evening shift was a great waitress and also attentive and took care of us so well! This is your typical old shooting lodge style property with a homely feel and ambiance to it and it’s as if your mum has turned into a professional cook and made your dinner for you! The food was absolutely gorgeous! You’re in the middle of no where so please do book dinner and eat here. They deserve the business ten fold!! We sat in the lounge and had a bottle of wine by the fire when we arrived, chilled out & simply enjoyed the view, the gardens & the walk across the road down to the water, our little dog lay in front of the big open fire and they even made us up a dining table in the front room rather than the dining room. Just so we didn’t have to move really and meant Grace our little dog could enjoy the fire throughout the evening. The rooms are so comfortable, clean & quiet, we were in room 1 on the ground floor, huge room, dressing space & separate bathroom. Great views to the front of the lodge & over the road to the water, and also the side garden. Breakfast was equally as good as dinner & we wished we had another night here! I would hesitate to recommend you to stay here if you want peace, tranquility, great true Irish ☘️ hospitality and a home from home feeling.

Beautiful setting right across from Lough Inagh. Beautiful estate home with wonderful rooms and quiet pub, and also a formal dining room for dinner if you like. We strolled across the road and down to the lough. This was so quiet and peaceful, truly an enjoyable experience away from everything! I would most certainly return.

A wonderful hotel, warm and cosy with friendly staff. Many other guests had been before and keep coming back for more. We’ll add our own names to that list.

This magnificent hotel was just the absolute highlight of our Irish trip . From the moment we walked in the front door we were treated like friends and the staff bent over backwards to ensure our stay was a marvellous experience for us. Our room was very comfortable and the bed was very comfortable. The breakfast and dinner each day were first rate. The surrounding countryside is awesome and a walkers delight. You must not leave this planet without staying here.

Unbelievable view from our window...breathtaking. Service from the whole team was very friendly. Absolutely loved our stay. The only criticism was the noise of the hardwood floor in the dinning room. We stayed directly above it and the noise of chairs being dragged over it and waiters&guests walking on it did make it difficult to unwind in the morning and evening. That being said I wouldn't have changed rooms because of the view. Would absolutely stay again. Fantastic location, excellent service, felt very welcome at the property.

My stay at Lough Inagh was amazing, pampered and well looked after. I'm home from the States visiting family, got a chance to spend time with my mother, who is not well. Met people in the living who are now friends, staff were so friendly, kind & helpful - greatly appreciated - I will be back again very soon

I can highly recommend Lough Inagh Lodge. The service, accommodation and food were all second to none!. The attention to detail (all across the board) results in what I'd call perfection. Really look forward to returning for a few nights in the future!.

My two brother and I on a tour of Connemara elected to visit Lough Inagh for some barfood last week. We were warmly welcomed by the team and subsequently enjoyed most amzing food in the bar. We sat outside in the sunshine and when all was ready we were brought in.. The ambience, the charm the staff, the views over the lake is a winning combination. very highly recommended and very worthy of 5 stars. Well done.
