Was a value-for-money property. Beautiful clean chalet with a nice refurbished. Friendly staff ever ready to help. Lovely view from Restaurant. The river runs thru the edge of the premises. Lovely relaxing place to be. Central location. Highly recommended for tourists passing thru to Ella

First of all kindly requesting new management to remove all the pictures uploaded to all travelling websites, as hotel doesn't portrayed as it is. Then close the property and do the renovation as per the ECO Team standard and reopen it to the public as our well looked vacation was completely tarnished / ruined due to your overlook of the property. I don't wish such for another family. The name board were completely worn out. First impression was completely disaster. No proper office. that hotel was not ready to welcome guest at all, as i believe everyone deserve a chance to give as well as I paid in advance for one night i decided to stay regardless of the warning signs it gave me. Rooms are worn out , damped, furniture is outdated or I must say it's completely worn-out/ faded. Linen was damaged and old. Shades are with fungus ( probably due the weather but it's unacceptable). Food is completely disaster. Lots of food options are not available. Kitchen is not upto the standard, equipments are not well maintained. Seems they have not seen a planned maintenance system at all. All the vegetables were on the floor the day we arrived, Our family encountered food poisoning due to un-hygenic food been offered and Still suffering. That mental strain that it put to us, especially as I have to drive 193Km ( approx 5 h and 30 min) reach home was not an easy task at all. Location is pretty nice , good river bath for a relaxation. staff was kind and welcoming. Mr Rukshan and Mr Thilak tried their best to make our stay comfortable.

If I could give it more stars I would. We stayed in the deluxe cottage which was very clean and had a very comfortable king sized bed, desk and chair, very nice bathroom, kettle with tea, coffee, milk and sugar. The windows opened to allow a nice breeze and you could hear the river below you. The cottages are set in a beautiful and very well maintained landscape with a rushing river below that has pools of calm water you can swim in. We had all of our breakfast and dinner meals in the restaurant which has beautiful mountain views. The food is super delicious (among the best we have had in our month long stay in Sri Lanka) and an incredible value. We also did a kayaking excursion which was fantastic. But what really sets this place apart is the service. Dulara and Thilak as well as all the staff went above and beyond to make sure we had an incredible stay. The level of service was on par with 5 star hotels in the USA. We highly recommend this resort and are planning on going back.

Very beautiful location with well maintain green garden and Belihuloya river flowing in the down Three cottages are there. Me and my family stayed over night in one cottage. Few things to be improved inside the cottage but bathroom condition and hot water availability is perfect. Had a decent local menu buffet breakfast Went to the belihuloya river in the down to the hotel after the breakfast and that experience is never forget. It is so attractive and rich in natural beauty. Paid price is reasonable when considering the overall experience had there.

We considered our self’s blessed to be adventurous in Sri Lanka and this truly reflected it when we visited Belihuloya as accidently we happened to meet Osha who was heading to River Garden Hotel and convinced us that it is the best place to be in to experience the nature at its best .One can see a stream a river flowing parallel to each other at a stone throw from their compound. One could have a river bath while seen the blue sky’s and the lush mountains around the area. From the time we arrived as walk in guests , and so true to ECO teams Brand hospitality, we were welcomed by the Managress Dumindra and her charming team with warm hospitality. We enjoyed the Sri-Lankan dishes cooked to authentic style and cannot explain how the entire team goes out of their way in ensuring that every guest experience a memorable stay. The Resort conducts trails ,village walks,cannyoing archery etc and one ought to try it out as it is at very affordable too. Hats off to the entire team and the Top Management for making our 2 night stay an enjoyable, exciting and memorable.

One of the best stay experience.Adjoining the river the cottages have excellent view and the weather was so welcoming and so was the staff were so friendly.Hats off to their Hospitality. We were so relaxed and also enjoyed our stay. Must mention about the steward and chef as the food was extremely delicious and the service was overwhelming. The river and the property was so clean and extremely natural just as we expected it to be. We also booked the adverture activities at their camp. That too was also beyond expectations. Excellent for families and groups. Highly recommended this place and big thank you to the staff.
