Hotel in zona Last POW Camp Memorial, Ranau

Location was very far from centre — maybe the roads make it far. No tar road. So if u come here be prepared with food stocks because after going through the 2.5km road without tar, dont think we want to go down anymore. — but there is room service. Along the way no wifi/internet but as soon as reach hotel the network bar was full. The view was stunning, can see akinabalu from the balcony (do take the deluxe kinabalu room to make the journey worth it) Breakfast was basic but pretty tasty. Fried mee, toast and chicken porridge. Service was great — we requested for ubat nyamuk and mineral water and was provided for. For cleanliness, no habuk but door mat got existing stain.

We stayed at Happy Pink, we like the cold nights and breeze there! The view is the same as the photos! Perfect for nature lovers who love sceneries' more the TV. The swing outside each house is enjoyable to have a view at Mount KK. We like the cosyness of the restaurants and the service there. Food is ok but a little slow in serving. Negative is that the water for showering is too weak to be used. We were joking that ”By the time the water flow down to our feet, our hair is already dry”

La vista è magnifica. È possibile vedere la montagna molto chiara al mattino. La condizione stradale a questo luogo è piuttosto difficile per il veicolo 2e. Il caffè extra durante la guida è una causa che alcuni della strada sono rigidi e la visibilità durante la notte è limitata, soprattutto quando piove.

Pros 1. Visualizza spectacolare 2. Amichevole ricevitore. Sono anche serviti rapidamente quando si fa una chiamata 3.Clean bagno e foglio Cons: 1. Alcuni servizi in camera non funzionano come lampada 2.The strada per venire questo resort è molto sfidante la strada è molto dannoso. 3. Il riscaldamento da bagno non è così caldo quando lo usate più di 15 minuti In generale la mia famiglia e mi piace stare in questo resort per 3 giorni e 2 notti. Il tempo di notte è così freddo e la stanza dei miei genitori ha una vista più bella, il monte Kinabalu quando aprite gli occhi. È una grande esperienza. Se stai cercando una vista non ha importanza con tutti i cons sopra questo resort potrebbe essere adatto per voi. Ma se volete una camera perfetta e ecc non vi importa di vedere, consiglio di prendere un altro hotel per soggiorno.

I visited with my Family on the 8th of August. Took a twin room which has 2 queen sized beds. I arrived at the location at noon, feeling very stressed out because was having a bit of an argument with the family. My mother was having one of her fits when we arrived, saying she didn't like the place, I on the other hand, was wondering why I spent so much money on this place. I called the caretaker and he was quick to respond, good guy, we got to our room, still stressed out, and felt instantly that the room was sp****. I was immediately questioning my reasoning for booking this place. Fast forward an hour or so later, when everyone calmed down (mother included), we were immediately in a better mood. The landscaping of the place is really beautiful, and the view of mount kinabalu was very majestic. We left both the front and back door open and the winds were blowing through the room, keeping it cool, my mom and my sisters were all starting to enjoy the place, myself included. I started looking into the details of the rooms, the quality of the materials used to construct the villa was of the highest quality, toilet was made with marble, and everything else was simple but robust, and could tell that material choice was quite important. The landscaping was also quite nice. Beautiful garden. And it's just so private. To sum it all up here are the pros and cons of this place. Pros: 1. High quality material used to construct the rooms 2. Beautiful landscaping - very calming and great. 3. Very private 4. Friendly and quick team to reply 5. Nice toilet (best in Kundasang) Cons 1. Price a bit on the high side (but it's private and most probably the nicest hotel in kundasang, cant compare to established hotels in the city( 2. Lacks some finer details : instead of 3 in 1 coffee, put a Nespresso machine in every room with 4 to 6 capsules, that really makes a difference in terms of perceived quality. 3. Pillows could be better - sheets are alright and bed is alright - but I stayed in four seasons kl for 40 percent cheaper, so... A bit hard on that end 4. I appreciate the disposable tooth brush, soaps etc. But I think the soap would be better if it was in a bottle stuck to the shower wall where it can be refillable, perhaps they could use a branded soap and shampoo for that, and not put it in small bottles, but in refillable permanent bottles in the room. 5. Restaurant - it's not under them, they share it with the hotel about a 5 minutes drive away. It's not bad, but it's far from good. No alcohol in sight there, so better BYOD. Although pricing wise it's on the high side, and there are some things that they can improve on, I'd still go back there, as it's the only great and private stay in kundasang. Everywhere else is not up to spring gardens quality, for now....

You can see the mountain from the room balcony. Will surely come back to enjoy that view again. Room was clean. The bathroom is outside (next to the balcony), so at night when you want to bath, bugs and moths will be everywhere.

It has both pros and cons as well. As for the pro, the resort was quite strategic to some tourist spots like Kinabalu park it's just nearby which is about 3min drive only. Most importantly it has a beautiful view of the mount from the stay place. The staffs were friendly and able to provide an alternative menu to our vegetarian food on 1st day which was a big relief to us. As for the cons we had some insects at night/early morning (bees)in the room. Otherwise the place was pleasant enough during our stay. Thank you.

Il luogo è stato amorevole. È stato situato in modo appropriato con una vista fantastica sul Monte Kinabalu e anche sulla Valle del Kundasang. Le camere erano pulite e confortevoli. Ha un ristorante con una varietà di cibo asiatico e occidentale. Il servizio era molto buono e il personale dell'hotel è molto amichevole.

Comune: La strada per Nikgold è molto difficile (come altre aree di Kundasang, quindi non è stato molto) Nessuna linea telefonica, forniscono WiFi che è eccellente In generale, è stato un piacevole soggiorno.
