Everything was great until...... My wife and I checked in Thursday for 3 nights. Upon check in, we were taken care of by Maria. Very sweet, attentive and had us on our way in no time. Thursday night was fine. Got up and went about our business Friday morning. Came back to the hotel Friday evening, head to the room and fell asleep quick. Then came Saturday morning. My wife is disabled, and we were on the 5th floor. We got to the elevator and waited about 4 or 5 minutes, and nothing happened. I called the front desk from my personal phone (the phone in our room wasn't hooked up) Was unfortunate to get a front desk person by the name of Kwamel. Very unprofessional individual. I asked if there was a problem with the elevators. He said yes, there were not working. I asked him how we were supposed to get downstairs. He directed me to where the stairs were. I advised him that my wife is disabled and not able to walk down 5 flights of stairs. In his own charming way, he had no other answer for me. I hung up and had to help my disabled wife down 5 flights of stairs with her walker and our cooler for the day. Took us about 25 minutes to get to the bottom as my wife had to take one step at a time holding on the guard rail with both hands. I had to stand under her so she wouldn't slip and fall. When I got to the front desk, I inquired how long they would be out. My wife and I were going to be at a convention all day but obviously needed them working before we got back later that night. Mr. Personality had no idea. I inquired what we were supposed to do if we get back and they are still not working as there was NO WAY my wife could WALK up 5 flights. He was very unsympathetic and showed no compassion whatsoever. There was another rep behind the desk. She kept quiet for a while which was probably better for her. She finally asked me to come to her. She looked in her computer and long story short, if they were not fixed by the time we got back we had a room on the 1st floor waiting for us. I would just need to clear everything out of our current room which of course I would. That reps name was Karen. She was very nice, polite and showed an interest in helping us. Kwamel showed NO SIGNS to help. He just stood there with his shirt untucked and looked like it had been slept in. Instead of being part of the solution he kept telling me no. Wonder if he would have felt the same way if it was his mom or his grandma that was disabled and had to walk down 5 flights of stairs. I called Karen later in the day and was told they got 1 side working but the other wouldn't be looked at until Tuesday (holiday weekend) I am very surprised they wouldn't have someone on call 24 hours a day in case something like this happens. Doesn't say much about how much they care about their guests. Got back to the hotel at around 8PM. We were greeted by Daniel. We told him what took place that morning. He was VERY apologetic and showed much sympathy. Kwamel should really take some notes from

Quando sono tornato all'hotel, il direttore del Front Desk mi ha chiesto di andare con un troll per rimuovere immediatamente le mie proprietà dalla stanza. Ho chiesto di parlare con il suo supervisore, una richiesta che lei ha rifiutato. Si recò in camera(322) e metteva le mie cose in una borsa di rifiuti (sia bagnata che asciutta) - un sacco di merda e si mise a scendere e mi chiese di rimuovermi e i miei beni dalle stanze. Ho scoperto che tutti gli altri hotel della zona erano completamente prenotati. Ho aspettato fino a 06/07/2022 per porre il problema con il direttore generale dell'impianto che non ha trovato nulla di sbagliato con il modo in cui mi sono trattato. Poi ho deciso di condividere la mia esperienza presso il centro con il pubblico che viaggia.

Da quando sono andato a piedi, sono stato impressionato con questo hotel. In qualità di professionista nel settore del servizio clienti ho una prospettiva unica nelle mie valutazioni. Stavo organizzando UPS per raccoglierlo, ma niente andò bene, ma il personale era paziente e lavorava con me fino a quando tutto non andava bene. Grazie è un sottovalutazione. Avrei fortemente raccomandato questo hotel se stai cercando un comodo e stress free stay.

Edie (il GM) era molto accogliente e si è allontanata dal suo modo per rendere il nostro soggiorno confortevole e piacevole. Robin nel bar WXYZ era una conversazione piacevole quando ha una bevanda nel bar. L'hotel è piuttosto nuovo e aggiornato! Attraverso la strada dalla Torre Bell dello Stato NC e dall'università in una zona VERY safe.

Tutto era grande. Il servizio al divano era efficiente e amichevole. La luce del bagno era un po'fuori, ma non era molto. Il letto era pulito e confortevole. Ci sono stati degli ospiti alti in mezzo alla notte, ma di nuovo, succede. Ci siamo divertiti. Sitting in the hotel as I write this. Wifi did not work in the room. I notified the front desk last night that, as soon as I entered my room, it stopped working. The only option the front desk could offer me was to call tech support, which is not fair to the employee or the guest. It is 2023, Hilton…DO BETTER. There is no menu of any kind on the site for this hotel or any other under the Hilton umbrella, which makes it very difficult to plan for what I can eat. (I am on a restricted diet that, in part, prevents me from consuming dairy.) For lactose-intolerant guests, this presents a challenge as traveling with nondairy milk is not always a practical option. Why is there no soy, oat, etc., option available like every other place that serves breakfast? Further, where are healthier options like whole grain bagels/bread? You are a multi-billion-dollar company and offering a menu online as well as whole grain and nondairy options are not outlandish or exorbitant requests in 2023. In fact, they should not even have to be brought up—ESPECIALLY when breakfast is included (yet many guests are excluded). Finally, plastic cups at breakfast? Seriously?! I am not even going to say anything more about this. Stop worrying about executive salaries over the basic comforts of your guests. It is a true shame that your oversights clouded over what might have otherwise been a pleasant experience given the friendly staff.

We stayed here after a long day of flying back from Europe. Front desk person was OK - not particularly friendly for check in but it was later in the evening. The room was great- clean, quiet, and comfortable. We were given the hours for breakfast which we were aware was not included in the room as this was not a Holiday Express. We went in the morning to eat as it was convenient so we had a drive ahead. We were there well within the hours of serving - but there was no food out in the buffet, no one to greet us or seat us but we could hear people in the kitchen. We waited a few minutes expecting someone to come out. Did not happen so we went back to our room, collected our things, dropped our key and left. Found a restaurant near by to eat at.
