This is the worst hotel I’ve ever visited in Azerbaijan. It’s a modern scam hotel. The food is terrible and ridiculously expensive compared to other five-star hotels. I arrived on time but couldn’t check in because the room wasn’t ready—I waited more than an hour to finally get into my room. If you choose this hotel, bring your own food. Not only is the food overpriced, but it’s also neither fresh nor tasty. Additionally, the room wasn’t warm enough because the heating system is inadequate. If you want to dine at good nearby restaurants, you’ll have to drive for 40 minutes, which is insane. Last day wanted to try burger rather than barbecue, and it was terrible taste as well.

Best hotel in shahdag

The hotel is great 5 star. All the amenities and service you would expect from Marriott, however, some issues like the closeness to ski activities compared to shahdag hotel and spa and the snow cannon noise was very annoying outside the hotel, when I requested the hotel they said they were not able to do anything. Also there is issue of room Ac. It does not work and the room becomes very hot due to the heating, you can open the window but the noise from snow cannon is very bad

Location - Beautifully placed opposite snowy ski slopes of shahdag. Check In Experience - Greeted well by the reception and the bell boy in service - no welcome drink or tea(Would have been a great touch) Rooms - The rooms were huge and well laid out. The linens were clean and fresh. The view was spectacular of the mountains and the ski slopes. Restaurant - The breakfast was ok, but the service at both their restaurants was a big letdown. Amenities - The indoor and outdoor pools were amazing but not well serviced. The kids' area was well kept. Overall , I wouldn't say it was maintaining Marriott Autograph Collection Standards, but consider this as a local hotel at this price point, and you will surely have a good time.

Steer clear of this hotel. Awful food and beverage service. There is no one to guide you on activities, meanwhile their website claims fake activities available on site at the hotel. Very few restaurants with sub standard food. Staff barely can communicate. I booked this hotel for 5 nights thinking there are many activities to do, totally regret it!
