Era giusta, bella. Molto bella. Ho soggiornato in centinaia di hotel. Ho viaggiato nel mondo, cinque mesi all'anno, per lavoro. Posso dire sinceramente che ora ho un nuovo hotel preferito. E' la casa Hulbert. Da benvenuto al saluto, non avrebbe potuto essere meglio. Jay, Jade e Martina non avrebbero potuto fare altro per renderci benvenuti. E abbiamo avuto il posto per noi stessi. Non ci sono altri ospiti durante il nostro soggiorno. È molto speciale. Quando si invia un menu al colazione e si dice ”è solo una guida”, e per ”sappiamo se c'è qualcosa che vuoi speciale domani”, sa che sei in qualche posto che è solo buono. La Nuova Zelanda ha un buon caffè. Hulbert House ha un grande caffè. Quel colazione ti mette in piedi. Fuori tutto il giorno e torni a casa calda, canapeli a maglia e vini meravigliosi, tutti complimentari, sei in vincitore. La casa è incredibilemente decorata, le camere sono uniche, e la mazza non lo fa giustizia. Qualcuno sapeva cosa facevano quando progettavano questo posto. E'speciale. Queenstown è un posto grande, il mio nuovo hotel preferito nel mondo lo ha fatto ancora meglio. Grazie. Anche se ora viviamo dall'altra parte del mondo, spero che ci ritroveremo.

Great location. Staff were very nice. The 5-6pm drinks a nice touch. Tea, coffee and soft drinks available in the lounge all day. Don't pay for the breakfast if you are a late riser, as often found not much left until they came around to check on it every 5-10 minutes. It was probably one of the most sp**** continental breakfasts I have ever seen. So I have lowered my value score as breakfast was a let down if you went down after 9am. So have a tea or coffer in lounge and then go to a bakery.

L'Hotel Carlin è una splendida proprietà. Le viste dai balconi sono gloriose. Mi piaceva davvero la posizione - proprio fuori dalla città, in modo da essere conveniente a tutto, ma durante la stagione delle vacanze occupata, è su una strada tranquilla. È un passo passeggiato dalla città, ma dopo tutto il cibo che facevamo, non ci importava. Le camere sono belle, decorate con gusto. Il personale è attento e amichevole (chi urla a Patrick che è uscito dal suo modo per fare un soggiorno speciale). Il cibo al ristorante è buono - abbiamo avuto la cena di Natale all'hotel e era davvero delizioso. Abbiamo delizioso e abbondante colazione. Se hai guardato la prenotazione di questo hotel, sa che è davvero costoso. Si fanno pagare come un hotel di sei stelle, ma a questo prezzo, mi piacerebbe anche cinque stelle per essere perfetta. Cons - il condizionamento d'aria è incantevole. Ha continuato a chiudere a metà della notte e ci svegliamo e non potremmo riuscire a riprenderlo. La nostra famiglia aveva le Suite Vista e Panorama e le camere adiacenti non avevano assolutamente finestre - ovviamente, a causa della struttura dell'hotel costruito in una collina - ma non solo non c'era luce naturale, ma si sentiva come un pericolo di incendio Poiché l'unico modo per uscire in caso di emergenza è attraverso la porta nella sala. Una sera, quando il ristorante dove avevamo una prenotazione era fuori dal cibo (questo sembra essere un problema durante le vacanze in NZ), siamo tornati all'hotel prima delle 8:30 e sono stati informati che l'unico cibo che potevamo ordinare era dal menu del pasto di notte. Il menu dell'hotel indica chiaramente che l'intero menu del pranzo è disponibile fino alle 9:00 - il cibo era ancora delizioso, ma il menu era estremamente limitato.

Commonage Villas, managed by StaySouth, is right up there as the premium accommodation choice in Queenstown. Spacious, warm, spotlessly clean and with one of the best views the location has to offer. Indoor car parking is a real benefit after a day of skiing and the well equipped kitchen is great for preparing any meal. StaySouth do a super job to ensure the stay was hassle free; responsive and alert as well as down to earth and friendly. I could write much more but discerning travellers don’t need to be convinced by the size of a review. I cannot hesitate to recommend. DW

Io e mia moglie siamo rimasti a The Spire per un fine settimana di festa in una delle suite Deluxe (livello 2, davanti al lago). Per noi era notabile, ma certamente non disturbante, e noi amavamo la vista della montagna così felice di essere da quel lato; il personale di The Spire era meraviglioso, e ci sentivamo come creavano un'atmosfera molto accogliente e amichevole. La suite stessa era fantastica, e tutto ciò che ci auguravamo. Il bar e il ristorante sul sito erano molto buoni (definitamente fare il più dei colazione inclusi) e il nostro unico rammarico non era avere un pasto di sera li (anche se abbiamo provato uno dei loro toast crayfish con i nostri complimentari cocktail - entrambi il toast e i cocktail erano bellissimi). Abbiamo chiesto al personale di organizzare alcune cose per il nostro soggiorno, e tutto era sorprendente: dal trasferimento aeroportuale, alla tour privata di vista, e gli incredibili terapisti di massaggio che hanno messo in nostra suite per il massaggio di un paio di persone. E' stato fantastico. Grazie per averci aiutato a creare qualche meraviglioso ricordo. Spero che potremo tornare a casa qualche volta (ci siamo promessi di venire a cena al numero 5!)

We was told there would be parking space for us. When we return after dinner we found the specific parking space were full and actually there were very limited parking lot(7-8 cars) for so many rooms. The reception told us it was first come first serve and suggested us to park at the neighbourhood but not at other free spaces inside the hotel area. Thats quite not friendly to be honest.

Good location, comfy room with balcony with partial sea view. Had everything you needed but was a bit of a strange layout in the whole complex. To get to our room from reception we could get part of the way by a lift but then had to go outside twice to get to the right block. However, there was parking in the basement which had a direct lift up to the floor we were on. Like most places in Queenstown, there was a lot of building work going on & roadworks which made things a bit awkward but not impossible. Staff were friendly & helpful. There was a restaurant on site but we indulged in room service which was excellent.

The things that I liked about this accommodation was its proximity to the city centre (walkable to everywhere), the well equipped kitchen which we used to cook several meals, the 2 bathrooms included in the 2 bedroom apartment and the fact there was a washer and dryer. The apartment building itself is quite 'higgle-piggle'. Lots of stairs and we felt quite overlooked wherever we were. The balconies are all right next to one and other and if others are out there it feels quite awkward as you are about 3 meters from the neighbours conversations. Both bedrooms backed onto a walkway to other peoples apartments which resulted in loud voices straight past where we were all sleeping early in the morning and late at night when others were coming and going. If the blinds were open at all everyone could see straight into the bedroom. The apartment was also extremely hot in the afternoons with no fans or air con supplied (on day 2 we did request a fan and it was promptly brought to us). But one small pedestal fan really didn't help for 5 people. There was also A LOT of partying going on while we were there... it was the week after Christmas so i get people are celebrating but with 3 young kids it was VERY noisy. There is no onsite reception and the offsite reception is only in the day so we really just had to suffer through screaming and swearing etc for hours of the night. Overall, our stay was mostly fine and if i didnt have small kids I probably would have rated it better but for a family stay I would personally choose somewhere else in the future.

The location was the best part for us. It was very central in Queenstown and surrounded with many good restaurants, bars and shops. If you are planning on skiing or doing an excursion there are many pick up spots and tour operators near the hostel as well. The room was a good spot to sleep. The bed was comfy, the bathroom was clean and they provided a nice small space heater to keep the room warm if needed. We didn't have any body wash on our first night in the shower, we reported to the front desk and they gave us a couple of bars and we were told that they would replace in the morning but when we came back it was unfortunately not replaced but we did get another small bar of soap. The remote in the room was disgusting and covered in what I imagine was at one point part of some good fried chicken or possibly pizza but everything else seemed to be fine. Check in was a little tricky because there is self check in/check out tablets at the entrance. We couldn't figure out the right combination of booking reference number and name because we had received Jucy's confirmation code in a separate email. The attendant did offer to help us out but we got the right combo at that very moment. You can pick your cards to activate them and we had no issues with this part but later that evening my card deactivated and I went to the front desk a second time to get it working on our first night. The hotel has some very good signage and arrows to tell you where your rooms are and the amenities (rooftop bar/restaurant, laundry room and kitchen area). The hotel seems to be more of a party hotel and when we arrived there was lots of drinking and people having a good time. This went well into the night and the noise seemed to travel well down the hallway from the rooms that were hosting. We could also hear our neighbour coming and going throughout the first night but it was relatively quiet between 12-6. We picked this hostel for the location and to save a little bit of money for excursions. It did get very busy in our area the first night we were there but after that we had no issues with the traffic. It was a 15 minute ride to the airport in the Uber and the bus stops at the nearby Stanley St bus hub and only takes about 25 minutes to go to/from the airport with limited traffic.

Ieri sera il nostro volo fuori Queenstown è stato cancellato! Air NZ non poteva/non prenotare nessuno alcun alloggio. La nostra famiglia di 5 passeggeri in taxi per noi. Quasi 2 ore dopo siamo arrivati in questo hotel a 1:00. Il bellissimo manager della notte non solo ci ha curati, ha anche trovato dei bambini qualcosa di cibo. Le camere erano pulite, calde e moderne. Se solo il servizio clienti era questo buono ovunque. Grazie 🙏

Questa è la mia seconda visita qui che parla per se stesso, immagino. Ho trascorso cinque giorni qui durante le vacanze di Natale quando il posto era molto tranquillo, che mi ha adattato ...ma probabilmente non è ideale per una valutazione standard. È perfettamente situato, centrale senza rumore e a pochi minuti per gli acquisti alimentari. L'unico piccolo ritratto per me è che i dormitori sono un po' ”cosi”, e la cucina non è il migliore ammasso al mondo. Oltre a che sia un buon posto per essere ... e Steph e la squadra fanno un buon lavoro per mantenere il posto in forma di nave.

La nostra camera (camera 8) è di base ma ha tutto quello che ti serve. Calore, asciugamani, spazio, finestra.La nostra camera era calda e confortevole.Bagni e toletta condivisi erano puliti. Cucina e salotto erano tedi e molto spaziosi posti da sedere. Posizione è sorprendente !! 5 minuti a piedi per qualsiasi cosa.Anche il personale era carino.Due cose sono che potevamo sentire tutto accadendo le scale, le pareti sono un po' sottili ma fortunatamente siamo dormitori profondi e poi finalmente abbiamo trovato alcuni oggetti di soggiornanti precedenti sotto il nostro letto. Oltre a queste due cose molto felici con il nostro soggiorno.
