We visited to Pushkar on 28th -29th Dec;2024 and stayed in Westin Resort & Spa. It was booked through one of our known trustworthy agent. We checked into the room around 1.30PM and immediately found that hot water is not coming in bathroom. Due to cold weather, it was difficult to use available cold (Precisely Chilled) water, so we couldn’t even wash our face. We reported the same to reception immediately and they asked us to have lunch so that they can get it good meanwhile. Post lunch, when we reached to room, the situation was same and again reported to reception and management. Then we left for Temple and town visit. When we reached around 6.30, We found that now alongwith Hot Water, electricity was also not there in room, which was surprise to us for this big resort. We asked them to shift our room, however they showed their incapability to shift and tried to restore the electricity as well hot water. When till 7.30, nothing was moving and we were sitting in room in same situation (Couldn’t changed and wash our faces), no response was there from hotel . then I called to reception and shouted on them that they ruin our time (Almost 7 hrs) and due to this we couldn’t enjoy the resort activities too. In addition, I also called to agent, then Hotel manager came to our room and shifted it to adjacent room. The room was too far (Approx 600-750Mtrs) from reception and electric car service was too slow that it took almost half an hour to reach us. In this situation, we were forced to walk to reception even 3-4 times on our feet with a kid of 10 years. However, during check out, the electric car reach to us within 5 minutes from our call. At the time of checking out, Billing staff asked us about the stay and I just told her to asked from their manager instead of me. They took the picture while checking in and provide the print to guests at the time of checking out. When my daughter asked about the same from manager, she disappears from desk without saying anything and around 15-20 minutes later we received a call from her. She asked to return back to resort to collect the picture or send her our address so that she can courier it. We sent our address to them however those memories (Picture) are still awaited (After almost 1 month). We are very much frustrated and disappointed from such hospitality from Marriot. It was really spoiled our time as well money also. When I asked my agent for refund, now resort is telling that they provided very good hospitality and denied for refund as well. It was not expected from WESTIN/MARRIOTT atleast.
