"Caro Lotte Hotel Busan Team,
Ho soggiornato recentemente nella vostra casa e vorrei ringraziare il vostro staff per la loro ospitalità.
Vorrei però condividere un punto di feedback che ha lasciato un'impressione meno positiva. Come ospite che soggiorna in un hotel premium come Lotte, avevo aspettato che l'accesso alle strutture come la piscina, la sauna e la palestra fosse incluso nel pacchetto della stanza. E' stato sorprendente constatare che queste strutture richiedono un'ulteriore commissione per iscrizione, che non è stato chiaramente indicato durante il processo di prenotazione.
Lotte Hotel è situato come destinazione di alto livello, e in questo contesto questa politica è stata senza luogo. Ha dato l'impressione che l'hotel, nonostante la sua eleganza, sia inutilmente restrittivo con i servizi che la maggior parte degli ospiti ragionevolmente si aspetta di includere.
Spero che lei possa considerare un riesame di questa politica in futuro, e un approccio più inclusivo rifletterebbe meglio l'immagine raffinata di cui è noto Lotte.

"This hotel was amazing! I choose the option of booking the room + the cimer spa and that was the best decision ever! It was really relaxing and the pool was big enough y with warm water. The room clean, nice view and really and just in front of the beach!"

"We stayed a couple of nights but the room was never made up, bottled water not replenished. Asked the receptionist Mr Ho (not sure if he had given me his real name) as I want to highlight how rude he was with the guests. We ask one question and he said ‘wait’ ‘wait’ as he busily continued clacking on his computer. He could have given a more polite and professional response given that he is working in a service industry. Apart from that nasty experience, I couldn’t fault the room as it’s spacious. The location is just a stone throw away from Busan KTX, metro and across Chinatown. Not many restaurants that are near the hotel except for the Pojangmacha or Pocha that are right next to it if you are in for a quick tipple with quick and easy meals cooked right there. Starbucks and CU convenience store are nearby for a quick hunger fix."

"The room is clean. There is an elevator in the hotel. Nearby gs25 and CU, macdonalds. The toilet is upgraded with modern technology. The hotel has a bath to relax after the long day.
The location is near to the airport but is quite far away from the center (it will take 40 minutes on the bus). The receptionist doesn’t know english, don’t forget about a translation app. The room didn’t have a big towel only 5 small ones."

Check-in and check-out were seamless, and the free parking service was a great bonus. The staff provided excellent support before and during our stay, ensuring a smooth experience.
A special shout-out to Mr. Kim Kyu Sung, who went above and beyond when our rental car had an issue late at night even though it’s out of the scope of the hotel service . His quick response and genuine assistance saved us from a stressful situation, especially as first-time visitors to Busan. His hospitality was truly remarkable and greatly appreciated!!

Loved that they changed our slippers daily without prompting. However, on one of the days we requested for change of bed linens only to find out that it wasn’t changed.
front desk was kind of rude to my mother when she tried to borrow an umbrella. Otherwise no much interaction with their staff.
All in all a satisfactory stay, especially considering the hotel is still relatively new.

Convenientemente situato proprio accanto alla stazione di Busan.
La colazione gratuita era buona con un menu coreano. Tuttavia, è piuttosto affollato, quindi non puoi mangiare in pace.
Si prega di notare che non ci sono spazzolini da denti.

UUtente ospiteThe hotel is really located very well. The main street has everything and more. Close to subway, buses, subway exit (which is the closest to the hotel) with elevator.
The minus of the hotel is the absence of breakfasts, the hotel does not have any arrangements even with nearby restaurants. Reception will not advise anything, in fact there is just for check in and check out.
Rooms are large with good bed, a small view of the beach. Windows are opening. Air conditioning works.
the corridors carpeted (you won't hear suitcases), soundproofing is good (I have a sensitive sleep).
Cleaned well.
Shampoo, shower gel and soap is there, but the quality is so so.
Just 3 stars hotel.

Located conveniently within the city, the hotel serves as a great base for travelers looking to explore Busan’s vibrant neighborhoods, beaches, and culinary spots. From check-in to check-out, my stay was smooth, and I found the hotel to be a solid mix of comfort, cleanliness, and character.
Check-in & First Impressions:
Upon arrival, I was greeted by courteous front desk staff who spoke basic English and were very accommodating. The check-in process was fast and efficient, with minimal hassle. The lobby itself was tastefully decorated—nothing extravagant, but definitely welcoming. It had a quirky charm that felt a bit more boutique than your average budget hotel.
Room:
I stayed in a standard double room, which was surprisingly spacious. The decor was modern and minimalist, with a few unique touches that gave it personality. The bed was large and comfortable, with clean, crisp linens. I appreciated the small details like a well-lit vanity area, USB charging ports, and a mini-fridge. The room also had good soundproofing, which meant I could rest peacefully even though the hotel is near a busy area.
The bathroom was spotless, equipped with a full set of toiletries, and had a surprisingly luxurious rainfall shower. Water pressure was excellent, and hot water was consistent throughout my stay. Some rooms also offer jacuzzis or bathtubs, depending on the tier you book, which I thought was a great value.
Amenities & Services:
While Hotel Elephant isn’t a full-service luxury property, it offers everything you’d need for a comfortable stay. There’s a vending machine area, complimentary bottled water, and in-room amenities like a kettle, coffee, and tea. Wi-Fi was fast and reliable, even during peak hours. The hotel doesn’t have a restaurant or gym, but there are plenty of cafes and convenience stores nearby to make up for it.
Housekeeping was thorough and respectful. My room was cleaned daily, and towels and toiletries were replenished without needing to request anything.
Location:
This is arguably one of the hotel’s strongest points. It’s just a short walk from a nearby subway station, which made commuting to places like Haeundae Beach, Jagalchi Market, and Gwangalli very easy. There are also tons of restaurants, bars, and local shops within walking distance. Whether you’re into street food or want to try Busan’s famous seafood, you’ll find great options nearby. If you’re into nightlife, there’s also plenty happening in the area, but thankfully, the hotel itself remains peaceful at night.
Staff & Hospitality:
Every staff member I interacted with was polite and eager to help. While not everyone was fluent in English, they made an effort to assist with directions, transportation tips, and even helping me book a cab using local apps. Their hospitality made the stay feel much warmer and more personal than I expected.
Overall Impression:
Hotel Elephant may not be a five-star hotel, but it delivers more than what you’d expect from its price point. It’s clean, cozy, and well-located—perfect for solo travelers, couples, or even friends on a budget-friendly getaway. If you’re visiting Busan and want a reliable place to stay that offers good value without compromising on comfort, this hotel is a solid pick. I would definitely consider staying here again on my next visit to Busan.

UUtente ospiteThe location is good as it is very close walking distance to shopping streets and the price is affordable. Room is equipped with a smart TV. I did not need to use my travel adaptor as well. Basic toiletries available. However, the bath towel is in face towel size. Clothes hanging area is on top/in front of the dresser. Things to note if staying here. Hotel is located upslope from the streets. (relatively steep) Most of the times (like a 9 out of 10), I was unable to book a taxi from my hotel due to the kakao taxi app prompting that cars cannot enter my area (they will outline the roads on the app to show the roads that cars cannot enter).I had to walk some distance out to another place to book a taxi. However, there was no restrictions to drop off at this address but many times, the driver will also drop me somewhere further away to walk in. Both the guy & lady (seems like lady boss) receptionists seems enthusiastic for a normal conversation but can become rude when we enquire or request for help. I had difficulty switching on the aircon when I first checked in and called for help. They refused to come and help and the instructions was vague as all I can understand was ”the switch is below the TV”. I later found out that it is common for aircon switch to be on the TV remote controller in Korea after I checked in to another hotel. It was after the third call when we flared up that someone came to help. But the help was of course also a rude one. Another thing to note is that they only give one access card and this access card is also the only card that manages the power in the room. If you insert another card in the slot for power, they will switch off your electricity after a while. This means you will not be able to probably sleep/shower in the room if your partner goes out since you will have to be the one to open the door, unless you can stay in the room without any power. You will also not be able to charge your phones/power banks etc while you are out and the refrigeration will also be off. The receptionist have called us via room phone and scolded us for putting a foreign card in. I think this is upsetting as we usually have more than one card in other hotels. The other hotel that I booked in Seoul even had a ready card slotted in for power and we still had 2 cards for access. Another downside: There was some form of leak from toilet bowl area and I cannot make out where its from. There will be a typical pee stench after awhile. Both the automatic bidets and manual bidets did not work in my toilet. I am not sure if this only happens in my room thus this is just for reference. Otherwise my toilet was huge and the water jet was strong. Do note that they allow early check in but it is chargeable. When I reached 2 hours earlier, I was told that their hotel does not have early check in. After asking further, they told me to pay 20,000 won if I want to check in early and I got my room immediately. I would have preferred if they told me from the start that early check in is possible for a fee.
