Staff is very polite and there behaviour is very good specially Parvati, Aditya and Lipika. Restaurant food is tasty and delicious. They changed the menu frequently. Banquet manager Mr. Sanjay ensure that taste and quality is upto the mark.Room is clean and neat. There location is the biggest advantage, near to temple.

The ambiance and the location were great adding the beauty of the beach with the swimming pool, it was worth all the money. The room doors and the bathroom should be upgraded though.

The Hotel was impeccably clean and well appointed. service, cleanliness and behaviour of staff is all very good. Everyone was very helpful. the pool is neat and clean. beach is easily accessible. However, the only negative is the food. the food is extremely costly and the taste is not good. compared to price, food is not tasty at all. the pricing is absurd and with a motive of profiteering. One Roti/chapati costs 75/- rupees whereas it is not worth 5/- rupees. similarly rice is 325/-. Even in 5 stars rice is not 325/-. Otherwise everything was good.

Puri is my annual Christmas pilgrimage and for the last 10 years I have been staying in Sterling only. Over the last few years my experience has been mixed. In the past As a member I have stayed in minuscule guest rooms (other rooms were not available) I have stayed in studio rooms and I have stayed in 2BR rooms (now discontinued) also. This time I booked early (6 months back) and got my desired room, 1BR. The room was clean (sans a few broken latches) sheets were spotless, toilet was well stocked and clean (devoid of any smell, which used to bother us in the past) The service as usual was spot on, people are highly motivated and always smiling and greeting you. Our room was not ready when we were checking in (not the resort’s fault, we wanted a ground floor room, whichI had not informed earlier) so we went straight for lunch. In the past years we never dined at Utkala Restaurant (in house) because we had some bad experiences, we always dined outside (be it in The BNR or Chung Wah or Sonar Bangla). But this year everything changed. The food quality was superb and the service was even better. We always order ala-carte (buffet in my opinion leads to over-eating and wastage). The food was prepared fresh (with fresh ingredients) and served with lots of of Love. Over a period of 4 days we had among others, mutton (handi mutton), Lobster (butter garlic) Chicken(curry and butter chicken), paneer etc. The taste, quantity and presentation was spot on. Best part of the dining experience was the service. Apart from the ever efficient Rahim (a sterling puri veteran) I would call out Lijalin for being hard working, efficient, ever smiling. Because of her and the food, this year all our food were in Utkala Restaurant. There is an overall improvement in the infrastructure of the resort. Now they are even providing chairs and umbrellas in the beach (a much needed service) the gardens are well maintained, flowers blooming and fragrance soothes you. There were some issues regarding making up of bed at night (it took more than 40 min after my request) but sometimes this happens. Overall a wonderful experience

Bellissima location di fronte all'oceano. Struttura inserita perfettamente nella natura con casette ecosostenibili, ben fornite di tutto e accoglienti. Ottimo il bagno con tutto il necessario, letto comodo. Ottimo ristorante a pochi metri dalle onde del mare. Personale accogliente e disponibile.
