Breathtaking view during an amazing lunch. We had had this restaurant recommended to us by friends who live in Lausanne, and we were not disappointed. It was a fantastic place to stop en route from Skiing in Saas Fee to the airport in Geneve. Highly recommended. A bit pricey, but to be expected at such a location. I had a Cordon Bleu made with Quail. Who would have thought that would ever have that.

Perfect hotel to start off our Switzerland trip. The room was perfect for two guests, and the balcony offered amazing views. The hotel is in a great location with only a short walk to Chexbres town center. Also a short walk to Lavaux Vineyard and Rivaz. Check-in process was easy and free on-site parking!

We spent a night in this well maintained Hotel in the vineyards from Pidoux-Chexbres, with a magnificent view on the hilly wine yards and the lake Geneva. Reception was friendly and rooms were clean, and the highlight is the balcony with the view. Breakfast is extra charge but was excellent, which comes with another opportunity to enjoy the breathtaking view on the lake (it takes place in the restaurant Le Deck just in front of the Hotel, we had dinner the night before there too and it was excellent).

The view from the balcony was worth the price of the room. Spectacular!!! Room was super clean. Beds were very comfortable. Staff was accommodating. Don’t miss an opportunity to spend some time on Le Deck for drinks. Our group would definitely stay again.

This hotel was beyond my expectations. I toured Montreaux and stayed in Vevey one night upon arrival from the USA, and I’m so glad we decided to spend our last 3 nights here. The rooms are spacious and the view is mesmerizing- a totally different feel than Montreaux or Vevey. We picked the junior suite as a splurge and felt like royalty. We wandered down one night for dinner at Le Deck and just loved it. And this last night we had just drinks and nosh food in the bar area. We did not have a car and used public transportation entirely. This minor inconvenience was well worth the views and ambience. Oh, and breakfasts are fantastic here. This hotel is one of our best finds ever.

We had a wonderful stay at the Baron Tavernier hotel, although far too short! The establishment is neat, the setting is magnificent and the service impeccable. Le Deck restaurant and bar have stunning views of the lake, mountains and vineyards. We enjoyed the fantastic food prepared by chef Lionel Rodriguez, full of flavors and using local produce. A big thank you in particular to Idriss in charge of the restaurant. Very attentive to our needs, discreet and professional, he made our stay even more pleasant. We also had the opportunity to enjoy the spa and the swimming pool. The perfect place to relax and rest. The decor is elegant, the facilities a great standard and the spa has a delightful scented atmosphere. Our family stay could not have been more enjoyable, and we look forward to returning very soon to the Baron Tavernier Hotel.

We had a room in the main building and the views across the lake are just tremendous from our porch. The room was nicely decorated and clean with a large and handsome bathroom. We were there during a heatwave and were jealous as some rooms appear to have ceiling fans (maybe?). With no AC in the rooms - common in CH - it did make the experience a bit warmer than expected. Front desk staff were helpful and warm. The restaurant is stellar. Great service and cuisine. The view is amazing. We'd happily stay there again.

Great hotel set amongst the stunning Vaud vineyards. Rooms are clean and comfortable and you really can't beat the view from the lakeside rooms. There is a cool bar on site as well as a restaurant. Hotel is a five minute walk into the village of Chexbres and easy to get to via the train station if you don't have a car. As tourists we got to take advantage of the free local transport card which meant we could visit nearby Lausanne, Vevey and Montreux from our base in Chexbres. We loved being up in the terraced vineyards, looking out at Lac Leman and the cute little villages dotted around. A different part of Switzerland!

If you are from Montreal say hello to the Director Christian. Very charming and knowledgeable! We took the signature menu and every dish was simply amazing. The view is inspiring and calming. Make sure you reserve for the restaurant.no need of a reservation for the bat section. Service was 5 stars.
