Microtel by Wyndham Puerto Princesa

Lokalizacja dobra dla osób, które chcą być blisko plaży, podczas przypływu do morza schodzi się po schodkach :) Bardzo miły i pomocny personel. Hotel wymaga liftingu, obiekt jest wysłużony, w pokoju miałem głośny klimatyzator. Bardzo czysto, tylko w pokoju słychać wszystkie hałasy z korytarza i zza ścian, ale to problem w wielu hotelach - nie tylko na Filipinach. Słaby internet w pokoju, lepszy w hallu.

The hotel staff are all polite, friendly and ready to assist. The room amenities are not top-notch and facilities show tear and wear and needs to be updated. There is also limited food options in the restaurant. But all these down-side can be overlooked because of the amazing beach front. It was so calm, serene and relaxing. I will definitely stay in this hotel in my next Palawan visit :)

We stayed at Microtel by Wyndham Puerto Princesa for just one night, booking five rooms for a quick family staycation. At first, we were a bit skeptical due to some mixed reviews online, but we were pleasantly surprised by how enjoyable the experience turned out to be! Upon arrival, we were warmly welcomed with shell necklaces, and the check-in process was smooth and efficient. The rooms were spacious and clean, giving us plenty of space to relax. The kids especially enjoyed the pool—while it’s not very large, it was more than enough for them to have fun. The beachfront is beautiful—perfect for photo ops and water activities, though perhaps not ideal for swimming. Still, it adds a charming touch to the resort’s peaceful ambiance. A few areas could use some improvement: • The TVs are a bit outdated—an upgrade to smart TVs would enhance the guest experience. • The window-type air conditioners, while functional, can be a bit noisy. • Some furniture and room details could benefit from light touch-ups to maintain a fresher look. As for the restaurant (operated by a concessioner), the breakfast was decent—nothing fancy, but enough to start the day. Overall, Microtel Puerto Princesa exceeded our expectations. It’s a great spot for a relaxing and affordable getaway, and with a few upgrades, it could be even better. Would definitely consider staying again!

Not sure where to start but I will say the staff were lovely . Breakfast was dreadful, no juice, the manager came up to me on the first day and asked if I needed anything, I said juice please, he said no problem but after quite a long time he came back and asked if I really wanted it as he would have to charge me 🤷♀️ I asked for toast for breakfast but always had to wait at least 30 mins to get it and when it arrived it was never warm or toasted, I gave up going after a few days! Sun-bed had a rusty piece sticking out and there was a hole in the ground by the pool which was dangerous and there were children running around who could have got hurt. Hotel is stuck out in the sticks, nothing around to get snacks although the do sell snacks in the hotel for an extortionate amount. Wish I could have something positive to say but sadly can’t find any positives of staying here.

Great establishment and caring employees. Commendable to friends and family.

There is no vegetarian or vegan options. I wish to have better restaurants since there is nothing nearby. Rooms are okay. I think they have some issues with hot water, it is just warm.
